Sheridan looked up at this screech as well. His faun wasn't on the seat - had he been he one to make the noise? Worried that it was going to disturb someone, he rushed into the living room, joining Meru in her confusion.
There were indeed two fauns. Very similar-looking ones, at that. Both had the same brown fur, golden hooves and horns. Their eyes were shades off, but still similar. Sheridan blinked, and cleared his throat nervously.
The boy-faun (As Sheridan had to call him, since he had no name yet) looked up at his sister, holding the panpipes tight in his little fingers and blinking a few times.

"Well this is the other faun from the one owner... I guess she abandoned her here again." Sian watched the two fauns while she said this. They were staring at eachother in what looked like shock. Then suddenly the faun which had been standing beside her walked over to the other faun and well, squealed again much to Sian's displeasure. The girl faun then looked at what Sheridan's faun was holding in his hands and gave a look of interest. She seemed quite charmed by the instrument that Sheridans faun had and grabbed it. Sian sensing a fight quickly walked over to the two fauns and gave Sheridans faun back his pipes then handed the other faun some too from her pocket. "I guess they like panpipes..."

Sheridan shifted uncomfortably - not quite sure as what to say about an abandoned faun. "So they're... siblings?" he asked softly, watching as his faun held on to his panpipes rather possessively, after casting a curious look at his sisters' to make sure they were the same.
"What's going to happen to her now? Are you going to find another owner?" Sheridan hoped this new owner, if there would be one, would live nearby. it seemed wrong, that siblings grew up separated. Especially when they seemed to have a common interest, or at least fascination.
It was quite a cute picture they made, both fauns looking at each other, somewhat shy and each holding panpipes int heir hands. Did they even know what the instrument was used for?

"Well, so far no one has come forth to claim her. I mean, it was bad enough that she was abandoned..." Sian said this in a father soft voice. She wasn't quite sure of what to do with her if no one came forth to take care of her... They didn't have much room in the house and well maybe they would have to take her to an orphanage...
Sian shook her head to get that thought out. That couldn't happen to this faun, who knows what they would do with it.

Sheridan nodded. It was quite a shame... And he also didn't like the idea that they would grow up separately, these two fauns. (Who, at the moment, seemed to have realized what the panpipes did, and were both making jumbled whistling noises, exchanging looks as they did, as if to watch what the other were doing.)
"Well..." Sheridan bit his lip. It wasn't very smart, of course. What was he thinking? He had his hands full with one faun.. but, all the same... "I guess I could take her..." He murmured. "I know it's not the best choice... maybe until another owner comes?"

"Excellent.. idea?" Sheridan blinked - having expected something more like nervous shakes of the head, not Meru's enthusiasm. Sheepishly, he buried his hands in his packets and stared at the floor.
"Well, if you think so... Sian?" He looked up, wanting to make sure both were fine with it, before making any assumptions. After all, he himself still wasn't quite sure if this was the right choice. After all... he was going from not knowing fauns existed to having two of them in his own house.

Sian looked up from what seemed like a daze. She was a bit disorientated at forst and then she shook her head. "Sorry, I was having a bit of a... spell..." She shook her head once more. "Yes, I think that it would be a great idea for you to have both of the fauns. Thank you for offering too."
Tearing her gaze from the fauns she looked over at Stereo with a hard look. Yes, she was seeing if he could hold up the job. He seemed as though he could do it... He looked meek and tired most of the time, but he could do it. However, "Just remember if you need any help just come here and ask. I an also give you our phone number too."

"Yeah... I'll be calling lots, I think."
About ten minutes later Sheridan was on his way home once more, a faun holding on to each hand, and Meru's phone number in his pockets. He must have been quite something to see, with the odd little creatures tugging at his hands and making soft whistling noises with their panpipes as they click-clacked over the sidewalk, the boy sometimes letting out a soft giggle, the girl a louder, braver laugh.
Names, names. Sheridan needed names, now even more than before, since they were two of them...

Sian sighed after Stereo left. That was a BIG wight off her shoulders. Seriously though Naida was a big enough problem.. plus that new egg that hat hit her in the face. She just wasn't sure what to do sometimes. Atleast she has super-cool Meru to keep her sane.
"Meruuuuu, I'm hungrrrryyyyy," Sian whined. "Can you make something? I think I'm going to go check the mirror room."

Meru watched sheridan leave a smile on her face. She knew that the fauns would have a good, and intresting life with him. shutting the door behind him after sian had given him the information, she turned to face sian- and her everlasting food inquries.
"ACK~! what do you mean your hungry!~" she grumbled, she was such a such when trying to say no to people, fearing a puppy face for her friend she headed into the kitchen to find something edible for them. "hai hai~ i'll make something for us~"

Sian walked over into the mirror room. She just had a feeling that something was going to happen. Hopefully, it would be a better something then last time. Last time she had gone into the mirror room cleaning up Naida's mess she was hit in the face with an egg. Lame. Sian entered the room meekly, first checking through the door and then walking in compleatly. So far so good... Looking around everything seemed normal... There was the bed and the lamp and the mirror... Ah! She knew it! The mirror was moving... Sian ducked hoping to dodge another flying egg. However, after a few seconds and no crash or anything she looked up. So.. no flyin- SMACK! Right in the face. Lame. Now she probally had a black eye or something. "Fuuuuucccccc- Oh! The symbols match the one that hit me before..." Sian contemplated this and then sighed. "Fine... I'll keep you. Stupid fricken eggs."

"But I gooottta goooooo~~!~!"
"Donny, can't you wait just a little-"
"DONNY GO NOW."
"NO NO OKAY DONNY. Okay. I'll find somewhere with a bathroom. Just.. don't.. go. Yet."
Nio had taken his son out for a day on the beach, and spoiled him quite rotten. Ice cream and slushies had kept the boy cooled so that he wouldn't be tempted to go in the water (with wings as big as his, Nio was sure the boy would have drowned), but they had also left the boy with a very urgent and pressing need. Said need had Nio searching desperately for somewhere where his son could.. take care of business.
"Okay, here we go, just hold on one more minute Donny, we'll try here okay?"
"Donny gotta gooo.."
Nio stared up at the store, nondescript as it was, and hoped beyond hope that someone was inside. Someone nice enough to help a little boy in need and his frazzled father out. He knocked on the door, perhaps a little too hard and fast, then waited.

Sian heard someone at the door and looked down at the egg. It was like Meru's just the design was a bit darker... Oh well. Placing the egg in her pocket she looked towards the door and then jogged over to it.
"I wonder who it could be...?" She though to herself while rubbing her face where the egg had boinked her, she could already feel it bruising. She grabbed the door handle as many thoughts ran through her head and opened the door to see a guy... and something with him.
"Um... Hello, can I help you?"
((Holy s**t, that whole entry sucks and I'm having major writers block all of a sudden. @.@ ))

((For visual reference here's Donny XD - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334/Tall_Tales/Adonis.gif )) Both father and son held the same frantic and nervous smile as the door was opened, though the boy remained silent. Nio spoke up, giving the woman a friendly nod. "Good afternoon. Lovely day isn't it? I apologize if I'm disturbing anything, but you see, my little boy here's got a bit of an emergency, and I was just wondering if you would be so kind as to let him use your-""DONNY GO BOOM AND DIE!""..Bathroom." The man sighed at his son's outburst, holding on to him tightly as the little winged midget fluttered dramatically and looked as though he had just fainted dead away. ".. and while we're at it, if you know of any acting schools around here.."He received a chubby foot in his face, nudging it rudely before flopping down once more.
