"N-Nineteen? Your serious?" He asked, but knew it wasn't going to get him anywhere. "Well, I know pople like to hold unto their youth, but your the first person I've seen actually employing the standerd to such... degrees." He muttered, turning to Jessica. "Jessica, right? Well, No matter what you may think - This is the Sonic World, and your in it, and your not dreaming." He looked at the rest, "Same goes to the rest of you." He added. He put his hand to his forehead, trying to calm down. Not really working. "Just so you know, your all a bit lucky." He added.

Stephanie looked in confusion as she watched the hamster jump and bounce about as if she had ants in her pants. When she heard the girl say "doggy" Stephanie's ears instantly perked up. "M-Me? Yeah I'm-" She pointed to herself, about to continue, but the hamster just kept bouncing about, giggling and rambling like a child. "Stephanie.....Th-The name's Stephanie....." She said, shrugging and looking at the floor. "Uh...d-does anybody-"
"QUIET!!"
Stephanie wheeled around, looking in panic at the red-brown hedgehog in the middle of the group. "Well geez, what's wrong with you?" She said, shifting her weight to her right and crossing her arms. She listened intently as he asked who thought they were dreaming, and what they're names were. Stephanie raised her hand in a bit of an annoyed fashion; why the heck was this guy giving her such a hassle for something that wasn't real!? She first heard the cat respond, then the hamster, so she decided to add her two cents. "Name's Stephanie, and you said you were...Soul right?" She said, folding one arm under the other and pointing her index finger at him. "Ok, then, what's all this about this being real? Cuz I'm not so sure I'm ready to believe th at I am not only a dog, but are in an alternate universe." She placed her fist on her hip, and looked at Soul with a frown of agitated disbelief.

Jessica at the time didnt seem to be having a happy day. No, indeed, she was starting to feel really annoyed. Hands on her hips, tail twitching behind in agitation in results of the childish acting, she nods.
"Ya know, I sorta figured something like that. I mean, where all Sonic-Chibi style creatures at the moment. I dont know about you, but Im usually a bit taller then this." She looks down at herself. "And the furs new of course." IN her annoyance, she didnt care what they would think about this.
"Hey, you think you can get Mighty Mouse over there to calm down? Shes making me all twitchy..." And indeed, each time the hamster jumped about her shoulder or tail twitched as if in time with it.

Stephanie looked over at the black and white cat, who was now known as Jessica, and gave a small sigh. "I got it..." She said, letting her arm fall from her hip. "Hey! Hey Marg! Cut it out for a second couldya? Don't want miss cat-girl to pounce on ya do you?"

Jessica growls softly to herself and crosses her arms over her chest and looks away slightly.
"Its not like I want to. Its just....Well, I always was so in tune with my pet cats I sorta picked up some traits from them. And now that Im like this, I guess some of the more weird ones are coming out."
Turning completely away, her tail curls around her leg as she waits.
"I can promise this though. I ain't consciously gonna hurt anybody like that. Im not a mean person."

"Hm?" Stephanie said, turning her head as she held her hands trying to chill the little hamster out. "N-No, I wasn't suggesting that you were mean... I-I would think after being around animals you'd pick up a few things.......I-I wouldn't know though.....I've never had a pet in my life....I mean, I've watched someone else's cat because it would wander around alot, and I'd kinda mimic his actions sometimes....like when he'd freeze I would too...so yeah..."

She turns back with a soft smile on her face, immediately grabbing anything to get the focus off the odd behavior of hers.
"Ya. cats are really awesome. Some say mystical as well. I read in a book that every movement has a meaning that could effect the world as a whole, and that to reach perfection that one must learn to move like a Cat." She frowns and shrugs. "I wasn't to sure what the author meant. However, I can hazard a guess that they mean that the Cat moves with the heartbeat of the planet...or whatever....and that if you can learn to move in tandem with the life force of that around you, things will go better...."

"Hai!!" Margy exclaimed as she replied to what Soul had just said. "Being Nineteen is borning--being ten is much more fun!" The hyperactive hamster grinned at the redish-brown hedgehog in front of her, before giving him a thumbs up. Turn her attention towards Stephanie--who she called doggy earlier--she gave a grin. "Stephanie??? Oooo! That's a pretty name!" she exclaimed, sounding a bit like hammy from the movie "Over the Hedge". She began to giggle and bounce about again until Stephanine told her to stop. "Oro?" Margy question as she froze in place again. "How come???" she looked over towards Jessica and blinked. "..does the kitty want to eat margy?" she asked, completely missing the conversation and anything that Jessica had jsut said.

"AH, th-thanks." Stephanie said, watching the hamster bounce around happily, until after telling her to stop. "Oro?" She heard the hamster say. "Ha, Ruroni Kenshin." She chuckled, but then heard Margy ask if Jessica wanted to eat her. "No,no,no. Kitty doesn't want to eat Margy, but her cat-like senses may push her into trying to, so you might just wanna stop hopping. Saying random stuff is fine, I do it all the time, but just not...uberly fast movements." She said with a nervous smile, holding up her hands to hint Margy to stop.

"I'm gonna go ahead and leave you day-dreamers to your own devices. I'm going to go lay down and wait for the tram. For anyone who wants to join me in sanity, or what ever you've got left, I'll be there." He muttered, waving a hand, dismissing them. "But what you see is all real, so don't go jumping off cliffs." He warned, thinking about Sonic physics. Heading down the stairs of the workshop, the hedgehog jogged over to the Wooden Tram Station.

Jessica shrugs, watching the other two. Controlling herself should be fairly easy, so long as she wasnt caught off guard....like the first time she had felt the instinct. Looking over at the Hedgehog she frowns and watches him. "We should all probably stick together...." This said lightly to the others. Then with that, she follows after the Hedgehog. In all truth, she hated running. A nice slow pace would do for her. Once near him, she calls out.
"Just...why are you saying that? Like we dont think this is real? Im very certain this isnt a dream. But....do we....are we acting in such a way where everybody would think we thought we where dreaming?"

Soul turned around a blew some excess hair out of his face. "Actually, while you know it isn't, some of those people we're throughly convinced this was all a dream, and weren't listening so well. I'm sure that when they are convinced when it isn't, they won't just talk around." He related, scratching the side of his head. He didn't seem pleased - he was having an off day already. "So, anyway, Jessica, right? Anyway, I don't mean to be rude, I'm just not having the best time right now. I hate being ignored, but I usually am unless I'm loud. Hence what you saw up there." He indicated this with pointing up on the hill.
"So you readily believe this is all real? With no hesitation?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because when I first got here - Well, it's a big change. I'm expecting, I dunno, some sort of freak out. I mean - you are a dimention away from everything you know."

Stephanie gave a long sigh as she let her head hang low. "Yeah...you're probably right....Staying together would be the...."prudent" idea...." She said, seeming to have a hard time finding the word. "C'mon Margy, when I say "we" that means all of us." She said, talking to the 10/19 year old. As she walked towards the duo of hedgehog and cat, she let her head hand lower in a bit of shame. "Kay.....Soul....? I'm sorry if I seemed to be.....you know, ignoring you. I wasn't trying to, I just.............well......ah.........Well.........." She seemed unable to spit it out, until suddenly the words came bursting out of her. "There's just no way I can beleive that this is real! I'm one of those people that doesn't believe something unless they see it....Buuuut since a dream is kinda meant to be something that you see.........yeah...." She was trying to get to the point, it seemed to be harder and harder for her to get her thoughts together. She gave another long sigh, and then heard Soul ask in a questioning tone if Jessica was really so open about being in an alternate dimension.... "Wait a minute....." She thought, her eyes seeming to get wide in realization. "Alternate dimenstion....? Soul....and Jessica? Why...why on earth would they have to get used to it...? Heck why are they even talking about it...? Could it be.....?" She looked up slowly in stunned silence, looking at both Soul and Jessica as they talked to one another going towards the tram. But the more that she thought about it, the more apathy and disbelief took hold of her. In an instant, she was back to her semi-arrogent self, the self that she randomly seemed to take up in certain dreams. Why she was like that she had no idea, but when she was like that she could steal cookies from little kids and laugh about it. Unfortunatly she would always feel so horrible about it she wouldn't want to eat cookies for the next few days. So, with her new found 'confidence' she stopped where she was, and held her hand up in the air. "Hold on a sec Soul!" She shouted. With a bit of a grand gesture, she hoped forward a bit, and stopped. "Ok. You say that this world is real, and I definatly do not believe you. But, since jumping off a cliff is both idiotic and stupid, therefore not an option....I only know of one way to rectify this little thing....once and for all." Stephanie gave a swift nod, and then whiped her hand around, and put it a few inches from her face. She gave a big smile, which revealed a set of now canine teeth. "Being that this is a dream...." She said, slowly opening her mouth. "This.....will not hurt." With a swift snap, Stephanie shut her jaws onto her hand. Almost immediatly afterwards, a puppy-like Yipe!! escaped from her throat. She threw her hand out of her mouth desperatly, then danced around in a frantic motion, grasping it tightly as she spat out inaudible grunts of pain and humiliation. She held it close to her chest, doubled over in pain, and lifted her head up, slanting it to the side in pain. "W-Well..........I-I guess that answers that question doesn't it......" She grunted, with a smile of pain and her left eye squeezed shut.

Soul blinked a moment, watching the dog try and take a handle of the situation, and to his judgment, failing miserably. As she tried to bring herself to believe that she was in a dream, he inched his way closer to her. He was about to slap her across the face - it would prove to be a rude awakening. All of a sudden, She held her hand in front of her face, and he frowned - apparently, she knew what was coming. As he listened to he speech, his eyes grew wide. "You m-may not want to do tha-" Chomp. As she yelped and whined like an injured puppy, he rolled his eyes. "I was just gonna slap you, less pain, more provable." He said. "I don't think biting yourself works as much as you think, since basically you could be sleeping and just bit yourself normally, I would think an outside force is a better action." He stated, thinking logically. "'Course, I'd bet you really don't want me to slap you right now, eh?" He added, with a sneaking smile across his features.
