Thonas came to a hault and turned to look at his father. puffign his chest up, he ran towards him again with his claws extended like he was told to do. once he reached his father he stopped infront of him. he was glad to have his father teac him how do anythgin that would make him stronger. looking up at his father, he waited egerly for what he would say.

He grinned. "Want some blood?" He asked the kit. It was time to make him taste the blood of another animal. Of course, he didn't think things would go bad since Thonas was almost a splitting image of him. Except that he had a lot of white then he did, but that was no mater. He didn't have his tail either.
Rabbits were easy to catch. He skipped the mice, since he was sure this little lad could handle the rabbits. Mice were for little girls anyways. "Unless, you think your not ready to dig your teeth into some flesh." he said rather dully.

Thonas puffed himself up and huffed. " i'm ready!." ofcourse really he was a bit nerves about this since he never had killed anything or had tasted blood. dispite his nervesness, he wasn't gonne back down and not go through with this no matter what.

Thona was going to do most of the chasing, hurt the rabbit, then let Thonas kill it. He nodded. "Good. Though, You've got to be as quiet as you can when I tell you to." He said and raised an eye brow. It could take a hour or two to find a good enough rabbit. But he was sure, the boy wouldn't make much of a fuss.

" ok." ofcourse Thonas was now going to do whatever he was told to do. he wanted to learn and be like Thona or even be better. staring at his father, his bobbed tail twitched about as he waited for his father to lead them on the hunt for whatever it was they where gonna hunt.

Without another word, Thona started off in a slow trot towards more wooded area. Though, rabbits were everywhere, it was just easier to catch one in the more wooded area. They can't see you as well as you can see them. Or at least it was that way for Thona. His tail wasn't moving at all as he slowed down his trot making his feet take lighter steps. He had to be as silent as possible.
Well, not that silent. Even if the rabbits heard them, he'd still be able to catch it. It just was a lot faster if they didn't know he was there. He glanced behind him to see what Thonas was doing, and where he was.

Thonas followed right behind his father. focourse as they went along he tryed to mimic what he did. it was harder than he thought to mimic the silent movement of his father but he was gonna try. the whole time he folled he wondered what was instore for him as they where in the more wooded area.

Thona didn't stop as a few bunnies hopped about. They weren't big enough, plus they were no fun to chase. He ignored them as they went. He knew a prefect place where he could teach his son to hunt them and kill them. Maybe he was ready to try to catch his own without him showing him.
He stopped slowly and came to a walk. They were almost there. He looked back at Thonas and was completely stopped. "Do you think you could try to catch your own rabbit?" He asked seeing if the boy had enough confidence.

Thonas was almost distranced and tempted to chase after the rabbits that ran about btu he knew he had to keep following his father. tearign his eyes away from them he stared stright ahead and contiuned to follow. once his father stopped he sat down next to him. looking up at his father, he blinked at him a momet as he was asked if he could try and catch a rabbit. puffing up, he wondered if his father would be proud if he caught a rabbit on his own right off the bat. "... i think so." even though he never really had tryed to catch anything, he normaly only attacked his brother to make him tougher adn not a girl. starign at his father, he waited to see if he would now tell him to try and catch one.

Thona nodded. "In the bushes over there there is a family of Jack rabbits." He paused to nodded at the bush farthest away from them. It was a rather big bush. He looked back at Thonas. He looked not as confident as Thona had hoped, but that was no matter. "If you think your ready, go catch one. But remember, to sneak up on them first."

Thonas took a deep breath and nodded. all he had to do was go over there silently and pin one of the rabbits in the bush his father motioned at, semes simple enough. taking one last look at his father, he got up and slowly moved towards the bush. ever so slowly and as silently as he could he came to the front of the bush. eye darting about, he crouched down low and suddenly lunged at the rabbit closest to him. growling he had barely missed and the rabbit went running. as quickly as he could he chased after it with his claws extened like his father had taught him. ears pinned he wasnt gonna let it get away. amazingly enough he caught up to the rabbit after much chasing and took a lunge at the rabbit as he felt he was close enough. beginers luck was what he had as he managed to hook his claws into the back legs of the rabbit and fell to the ground. as quickly as he could he tryed to pin the rabbit before it got out of his claws.

Thona sat there waiting for his son to come back. He didn't even move as he went darting after the rabbit. He licked his paw as he sat there. Seeing how that was the only thing to do, and it seemed to be about time he cleaned them. Dirt had filled under neath his nails, and on the top of his paw was some dust too. His tail flicked as he waited.

Thonas was breath hard by now after the chase and the fight with the rabbit to keep it pin. keeping his claws fermly dug into the rabbit, he looked at his father who seemed to be cleanign his nails. blinking, it seemd he would have to go to his father to figure out what to do next with this rabbit that was not fighting as much. grunting he slowly dragged the rabbit. ears stil back, he finaly got the rabbit infront of Thona which took alot of effort for Thonas to do. little did he realize the rabbit was now limp as he dug his claws in to keep it pinned so it wouldnt get away after all that effort.

Thona looked at it then to Thonas. "It's not dead yet." He pointed out to the kit. He knew the kit probably didn't know how to kill it. "Try making it's neck make a snapping noise. That should kill it." He said as if it was so simple. Well, to him it was. He was much bigger then the kit, and had killed many rabbits in his time.

Thonas blinked at his father as he didnt even know what the heck to do. looking down at the rabbit that was bleedign from the claw marks from his claws, he tryed to figure out how to make the neck make a snaping noise. aafter a few moments of starign at the rabbit beneath him, he figured to place his mouth around its neck. sadly he was only a kit so it was hard to get his mouth around the whole neck. biting down as hard as he could, he shook his head with part of the rabbits neck in his mouth. after a while the neck finaly snapped which was a sicking sound to Thonas who never had done this in his life. droppign the rabbit after the noise, he stared at it and took a step back, wondering what he had just done as the coppery taste of blood that was from his teeth that had bitten into the rabbit..
