((WHEE.))
Another day. A day with birds chirping, blue skies, fluffy clouds and bright sunshine. The perfect morning, perfect to fill any person with cheer and excitement for what the day had in store.
Amleth hated it.
He hated this day. This day that was cheery and happy to everyone but him. Everyone else loved these sunny, pleasant, warm days but him. Note, he didn't hate this day in particular. He didn't even hate the weather, specifically. Amleth merely hated all days indiscriminately, because all of them hated him. Oh god, what a wretched life he lived. Every miserable day, regardless of weather, made him drearier and more miserable.
He was still in the middle of building his useless, terrible house. These days went by with little to no event; no one cared about the days he spent working, so they never got much thought. Instead, everyone focused on how he got terrorized by that terrible wolf, and glorified his big, mean, stupid brother who didn't deserve a word of it, that selfish stupid b*****d, Amleth could have just torn that idiot's tail off, he just wanted to go to every minstrel telling this story in the land and bash their stupid empty heads in, those goddamn sons of bit--
Eep. Oh dear, he got mad. He wasn't supposed to let his temper get to him like that. Oh dear, oh dear, he needed to calm down. Yes. Get back to work, just go about things like normal, yes, and it'd all be fine...
A small, cheery breeze that smelled of summertime and roses whistled by, and Amleth moaned as the wall he was building collapsed and scattered across the ground. "Third time today," he mumbled sadly as he plodded after the blowing strands, sniffling. He didn't really know why he bothered building the house any more. He hated building it, it took endless energy and a godlike patience to complete, and the instant he finished, the Wolf would come and destroy it all, and send him scurrying to his brother, who would gloat and sneer. But the story told him to, and he really had no right to do otherwise--he couldn't just neglect his role. His miserable, useless role. He just did what he was told.
But, but, but... he was so tired of this straw, always collapsing, no matter how hard he worked and prayed for it to be easy, and he thought he was starting to get allergic to the terrible stuff. He looked at the spare strands drifting through the air, tauntingly out of his reach. Just... just once... maybe he could try something else...? He didn't have the money or skills for building with bricks or stone, but if he could use something else, it would be better... Just once, no one would notice if he did it differently once. Then he'd go back to the way he was supposed to, but just this once, he didn't want do deal with the straw...
He looked around. A few twigs lay on the ground, scattered about. The Pigman's eyes lit up. Sticks--sticks! Sticks wouldn't blow in the wind, they were sturdier, easier to work with, and they'd still fall over when the Wolf came, so he wouldn't be changing anything! Sticks would make it easier, without changing the fact that he was doomed to fail!
He'd need a lot of them, though. Lots and lots of sticks. Amleth's eyes drifted towards the forest in the distance. He'd never been there before; rumors of monsters, curses, and women with eerily long hair convinced him that the place was best left alone. Besides, why on earth would a pig be in a forest? But, for this one story, he'd need to brave the hazards. There would be trees all over the place, right? He could get lots of sticks there. Yes. Yes, that would be okay, wouldn't it? ...Probably not. People would probably hate him for breaking the rules like this, they always hated him, oh, maybe he should just go back to the straw, yes, then no one would hate him any more than usual. Amleth started to turn back to his heap of a home, but glanced forlornly over his shoulder towards the trees in the distance. Sniffling loudly, he pulled on an ear nervously.
He managed to waddle his way to the forest before long. It wasn't nearly as dark as he'd expected, and there were sticks all over the ground. It was almost pleasant, but Amleth wasn't quite convinced. He kept glancing around, hunched over and trying to be as quiet as his clumsyness would allow (which wasn't very quiet at all).
He'd collected a good armful of twigs before he heard voices drifting through the trees. Squeaking in horror, the Pigman dropped his load and squatted close to the floor, as though it would protect him from whoever was nearby. Whether it was scary monsters or people who would scold him for doing things wrong, he didn't want to be found out.
But a good few minutes passed of the voices, and they didn't get any closer or further away. Amleth bit his lip miserably. Were they going to be there long? His legs hurt, and he wanted to leave now, he wanted to go back and not get in trouble or eaten or anything... Peeking over a bush, he saw a small group of people talking, with various levels of hostility. Whimpering, Amleth crouched low and kept his eyes on the group. He couldn't see who they were, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to know.
((LOOOOOONG! >w< Oh man, I love Amleth. HE'S SUCH A LOSER! XD))

((Yay! I told you I would be able to get on the computer! My friend's taking a shower. x3 Yeah yeah I'm in FLORI-DA!
AND AND BOB!!!! *tackle glomps* I missed you and your wonderful feet! OH MY GOD YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH!
I type now.))
Red looked over to where the strange man had emerged and smiled at him slightly. The thing that caught her off guard was Wolf's agreement to go along with this leaving thing. Her dough brown eyes widened immensely and she grinned widely at Wolf. She did a little jump and giggled. He WAS coming!
"YAY!" She yelped happily and moved to hug him. No, hugging wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do to him. Hugging would come if he became drunk or suddenly went happy, which never happened. She wanted to see the lug smile or grin, but he never did. She felt horrible for making him sad, she always seemed to be the trouble for him. Why did she have to make people feel bad? She ended up feeling so upset with herself...not that she would ever admit to that.
"Thank you." She said sweetly to him instead and raised a thumb to him. "You're really a big sweetie. But it seems you just don't like showing it. That's okay...I can understand...I guess." She gave a shrug but was stopped when the prince went into another tangent. Did he ever stop?
He felt angry. She could feel his anger. She had a sixth sense for people's feelings for some reason. "Ummm..." She began uneasily, scratching the side of her freckled cheek. She hated making people feel bad...she really did...but she was only being FUNNY, sarcastic, witty...why didn't people understand that? When he turned to look at her angrily she shrinked down a bit and frowned like a sick puppy.
"I didn't mean anything by it...I was being sarcastic." She muttered, twisting a foot about in the grass and glancing at Wolf as though she expected for back up. She didn't. But she wanted it. "You have to get used to my sarcasm. I don't mean to hurt your feelings. You seem like a nice guy...really...if a bit talkative." After trying to make him feel better she heard another noise in the bushes and she turned around. Some frightened thing.
She crawled around the bush quietly and saw the frightened thing.
"Hey, you? Why are you in my forest?" She pipped quietly as to not scare him anymore. "You want to join us in escaping? Hmmm? We're gonna run away! The wolf, the prince, some guy, and me, all of us! You should come too." She grinned sweetly and looked around before sitting back on her cape and waiting for an answer.
((Okay, I didn't read your reply all the way, so I hope it's good enough. Dunno when I'll get another chance to reply though. So...yeah. LOVE YA GUYS! Gotta go.
*hugs Bob again and giggles*))

((HOMG MY TURN! WHE! *posts*))
Lok made a very odd face at Red's excitement. He frowned and narrowed his eyes, wondering why he suddenly felt the need to jump along with her. Though, he clenched his teeth and planted his feet firmly. Damn that girl's infectious, upbeat attitude.
"Don't act like you're actually excited. What would you care?" He growled at her. He then flinched and backed up a few steps when she moved to hug him. "Wow... you're not REALLY going to hug me are you?" He said, eyes on her face warily. He looked relieved when she didn't.
Lok's shoulders slumped and he shook his head at her. "You're welcome." He replied in what he figured was a polite tone. "But I didn't do it for you." He added on hotly and then scowled at her. "I'm NOT sweet! I'm a black hearted man eater, AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!" The wolfish man roared at her, hackles raised along his back once more.
"Gods! They'll think I've gone soft! Some little woman calling me sweet..." He muttered to himself and rubbed at the bridge of his nose while hating how somehow he was really quite flattered she'd think so.
"Damnit, Red." He said lowly, not looking at her and then waved a hand for the prince to see. "Percy, just ignore her, it's easier that way." He advised as she tried to apologize to him. He snickered. "Percy..." He repeated, golden eyes flashing mockingly at the Prince. "I quite like that name."
"And stop you're BAWLING, Percival." The wolf snapped with a roll of his eyes. "We're coming, alright? We'll go!" He grinned a sharped tooth sideways smile. "But we have to make a promise... since after all these years of being gutted and chased off... You can't stop me from eating what I want." He snorted. "Got it, Percy? Even if it's one of your..." He plucked at the air as though dispelling a piece of fluff. "Little fiances." ((pretend the accent mark is there... cos I dunno how to do that))
Lok grinned then, it was an evil bad natured sort of smile, but it was the happiest he'd been in quite a long time. Happier even than the time when the boy cried wolf, one of the few times Lok ever truly got to enjoy himself. Though, that smile got wider when he smelled something quite tasty on the breeze... and the fact that Red gave away the tasty things position when she found it in the bushes.
Lok slunk after her, salivating ever so slightly. Coming up behind Red and the famillar little piggy in the bushes brought out the wolf in him momentarily, a great big monsterous canivor, baring his drooling jaws into a sharp and deadly smile.
"Well, if it isn't the litte piggy that just never made it quite all the way home." Lok leered, pushing passed Red and prowling towards the little piggish man. "Most pigs run insted of coming right to me... is this some sort of dilivery service?" He laughed. "I like it." He snarled happily.

((haha SO MUCH GOING ON OMGS! *types*
Haha why be everyone hatin' on the prince? HE'S JUST BEING WHO HE IS! *sniffle* Hopefully he won't be ANNOYING to everyone as soon as things pick up. GOSH. *huggles him*))
While Percival was proceeding to sulk, he heard a faint - well, sorta loud, actually, noise from just a way's off. He gave a laugh - it sounded like a pig rummaging through the underbrush.
And it wasn't long before Red pointed said noise-maker out. That is, after she apologized to him. Alright, maybe it wouldn't be so bad with her around... "Well, alright." He muttered to her apology, his mind mostly focused on the unknown creature in the bushes.
He did look over to the Wolf, a bit of a horror-striken facade covering his face. Percy... PERCY? He HATED that name. HATED IT. HAAAAAAATED. IT. "Uh, Dash, if you would... Just... Not... Percy." The prince muttered. "Stop calling me that, and you can eat whoever you want."
Though, Lok wasn't paying attention to him anymore. Why? Because when Red pointed out the thing hiding in the bushes, the Wolf decided to take a peek. This was bad, because suddenly in his place was a very large, very frightening wolf. A wolf that was about ready to eat the pudgy pink fellow shuddering in the underbrush.
"Woah! Wolf!" The prince shouted, hopping to his feet. His hands reached for his sword, but he stopped himself. Instead, he stepped between wolf and pig, glared, and frowning, removed one of his gloves. Quite sharply, he snapped it against the wolf's large, wet nose. "BAD wolf! You stop that!" He shouted, giving Lok another smack on the muzzle for good measure.
"We haven't left yet, so I'm not going to let you eat this..." He glanced down at him. What WAS he? He hadn't heard the story this one was from... He looked a bit... well, a LOT like a pig. "Uh, don't eat this round fellow. He's obviously just gathering sticks to start a fire." Maybe.
Either way, he stared the Wolf down, hands on hips, standing firmly between the animal and his potential meal. "Are you alright then?" Dash asked, eyeing Lok as he offered a hand to help Amleth to his feet.

((I'M IN CONNECTICUT BEECHES!! Yall're lucky this place has a computer, cause otherwise I might not get access until Monday, and that'd leave this thing in a rut >.>))
Amleth nearly jumped out of his skin as the freckled young woman discovered his hiding place, marching over to confront him. He yelped as she grumbled something about intruding in on her forest; He tugged his ears miserably and glued his eyes to the wood's floor, stammering and cowering. Ï-I-I-I'm s-s-sorry I d-didn't mean to and I sh-shouldn't have l-left the straw and I w-w-won't do it ag-gain I promise ju-just p-please please don't get mad I'm really really sor-rry--" He hardly even heard her invitation to 'escape,' whatever she meant by that... though he DID hear her mention the---
The wolf loomed over the red-clad girl, mouth dripping and lips curling into a horrible grin as he leered down on the pig. Amleth let out a horrified squeal and dropped to the floor, pulling his ears flat against his head and shaking like a leaf caught in a maelstrom.
"GOAWAYGOAWAYGOAWAYGOAWAYGOAWAY" he shrieked. "I HAVE TO FINISH THE HOUSE AND THEN WAIT AND THEN RUN AWAY AND THEN AND THEN AND THEN MY BROTHER AND GOAWAYNOWPLEASE!" He KNEW he should have stuck with the dumb, terrible, horrible straw, now that he'd broken the rules he'd get attacked early and he couldn't hide in the brick house and now no one could save him when this hideous terrible demon creature gobbled him up like the fat hunk of bacon he was... "Leave me alone, I didn't mean to do it, please don't eat me--you can't, you can't eat me yet!" he whimpered into the ground. "You have to wait, have to wait until I'm done and then we have to do it right, we can't change the stupid dumb terrible rules!"
He was going to die. He was. Wolves were bad people, they were nothing but big demon stomachs and now he was going to die because he was so stupid and no one could save him, not even a... a Prince?
The blonde-haired savior stood between him and the terrible creature, and smacked it across the face with a glove. Amleth gawked. Did that work? Was that how most people fought Wolves? He'd always figured that people used big pointy weapons or boiled them, like his brother always did... Maybe Princes were just cool enough to work with just a glove?
After a breif glaring contest, the Prince kneeled down to the Pig, holding out a hand. Amleth's face reddened furiously and he truned his head down, tugging his ears more and shaking his head furiously. "I-I-I'm fine and I won't do it again I'm sorry and um-um-um I should leave."
((YEAH. WOOOOOO. ...Yes?))

((D'awwws...I love Amleth. So does Sally/Alex...x3 *pets the piggly wiggly*))
Red's face twisted into a mix of emotions when Wolf crawled up behind her. She turned her head and watched the beast appear. She furrowed her brows at it and shook her head. The pig like man behind her began stuttering and whimpering like a scared little dog of sorts and Red looked back at him when Dash stood between the two.
She crawled over to the frightened creature cautiously and smiled at him, a calming, serene smile that would make anyone feel a warmth or softness deep inside. One of those sweet innocent smiles.
"Don't worry, Wolf only gets hungry easily. Trust me, I know. But if you look past his glutinous exterior he's a real sweetie." She nodded, trying to calm the other down. "And don't leave silly one." She said softly once more and cocked her head to the side, blinking at him curiously. "It isn't your fault you stumbled here. I'm sure it was just by accident anyways. Dash over there, he came here on accident, so did the creepy guy. You're no different. Anyways, I want to be your friend. We can be best buddies. You see, I have no friends except for Wolfie... And he likes eating me sometimes...I'm sure you don't eat little girls, you look like a really nice guy. Funny too."
After her gentle words she leaned over and gave the Pig a soft hug, peachy hands patting his back as she leaned out again and grin widely and then stand up.
"You can call me Sally or Alex. Either one works, though Red kinda gets me on my bad side...Makes me upset. You won't like me when I'm upset." She then turned her head to look at wolf with a glare and she huffed at him slightly.
"That was terribly rude. You almost made the guy kill himself. Jeez. I know you're hungry and all...but eat a DEAD pig, one that someone killed already, ya know? Please? I don't think our trip will turn out fun if you're always hunched over drooling of me and our new buddy. I might have to bop ya one...or do you want a big juicy kiss instead?" She raised a brow and pursed lips, leaned towards him before jumping around him and trotting back to where they were before.
"Let's go! This forest is making me want to puke."

((Hahhaa, my tuuuurn. And hahaham, omg Tuefel... Amleth is brillant XD *is like, in love with him*))
Lok had quite been enjoying himself. He rather liked it when his prey cowered beneath him. There was a certain place in his beastly heart that tingled when he smelled fear. He wriggled his clawed limbs and licked the length of his large chops.
"I really do like polite meals." The Wolf said, yellow eyes sharp. "And sorry, but me going away really isn't an option... twice I've been cheated out of a meal this morning and I don't feel the need to be so kind again... especaily with you laying there all nicely just waiting for me to snap you up." He opened his great maw, revealing his set of large incisors. "All you're missing is the apple in your mouth, little pig." He cried as he moved to eat him.
However, there was a sharp pain on his nose and the annoying sight of a very annoying prince. The Wolf vanished and it was Lok again, holding his nose and glaring knives and daggers at Dash.
"That HURT!" He cried, and kicked dirt at the pair of them. He then snarled, baring his mouth into a very wolfish snarl. "And what do you think I am?! Some kind of DOG! I'm a wolf for crying out loud! Don't treat me like a puppy that just went all over your favorite carpet!" He cried and then continued to mutter things under his breath: Percy this and Percy that.
And what was more Red went after him too. He glared at her quite cooly. "I don't eat DEAD things. I'm a hunter! I have to have HUNT." He said low in his throat. "And I don't drool over YOU. Don't give yousrself so much credit... there's just nothing else to hunt in these blasted woods!" He retorted, and then flinched away at her last comment.
He tore behind the prince. "Ahhhh." He said and shuddered. "Don't let her TOOUCH me."
((THE END!.... woo! And stuff.))

((Okay, I need to post to this too... *Squints*))
Percy (oh gods he was thinking of himself as Percy now, in his third-person ponderings) gave a kind smile to the porky fellow and shook his head, "Don't apologize. We're all here because we want to break our stories too. There's nothing wrong with a little change in the monotony."
And Red's statements seemed to fortify what he'd just said. 'Cept for the fact she told the Wolf to eat a dead pig... That probably wasn't much better for the frightened pink thing on the ground.
He lightly brushed the dirt from his clothes that Lok had kicked, a stern look on his face. "Then don't eat poor little..." He paused. "Uh, pig-men." Dash took a deep breath, "And I didn't want to hurt you, Wolf... Just stop you. I've already said I'm tired of being the hero, and here I am again... Old habits die hard. But you can have your go at any of the princesses I've had to save. Oh yes, I'm TIRED of saving them. Do you enjoy eating princesses?"
It was quite a surprise to him when the Wolf dashed behind him as if afraid of Red. He laughed - quite a catchy sound, "Fine, fine... But it's time we left the forest. Pig-man? Come along too. You can leave your twigs there. We can gather firewood later. I have tea just outside the treeline, and after we have a bit of that (he was adamant about having his tea, dang it), we'll go... Somewhere. Sound like a plan, chaps?" He looked from Red to the pig-man, and from the Wolf to the strangely quiet stranger that had turned up. "Right. Let's go then." And he started off towards the edge of the forest.
It was time to start their OWN story.

((Since no one else seems to want to, I'm posting.))
Sally smirked at Wolf's display of fear and giggled happily. It was a giggle that because of the timing and reason could have made shivers run up a person's spine. Her eyes sparkled as she walked through the trees, excited she was getting out of here.
Goodbye Grandma. Goodbye birds. Goodbye sun.
It made he squeal in joy and wring her hands together. She twirled around and walked backwards so she could watch the others with that eerily sweet smile. "We're LEAVING!" She exclaimed in her sing-song voice to wolf and nodded quickly. She whirled back around, short hair bouncing like chocolate springs and her red cloak wrapping around her flat form.
She spotted the edge of the forest and her eyes widened, heart skipping a beat. Was she really leaving? Should she leave? Her feet slowed down in doubt and she narrowed her dough eyes, thick eyelashes coming closer together. She was on the edge of the grass where it met sand and she looked down to the yellow-white grains curiously. She never saw sand before in her life. She was even more surprised by the lack of vegetation. Where were all the trees? Then she saw the large horse and she smiled more confidently and stepped off the grass.
The minute she stepped off the grass she felt a sudden extra weight pushed onto her chest and she squeaked loudly, tripped over her cloak and fell face first into the sand. A plume of sand billowed around her, covering her from view for a few seconds before settling over her body in a thin blanket.
Letting out a loud cough and gag she started to sit up and dust off herself before feeling something on her chest and she let out a startled yelp once again. They were round and soft and were inside her dress. Fear ran through her veins before realizing what they were and surprise replaced the fear. It was as though her body had changed the second she got out of the woods. She was taller by a few inches and had a more mature body. She was still 18 (since stories never did age) but now she looked 18 and not 14.
A peach hand rubbed her sandy face and she stared down at her chest like an old man would to a whore, with infatuation and lust. Her tongue poked out the corner of her mouth and she pouted her lips thoughtfully as though she were waiting for them to disappear and for her hips and legs to get straight once again.
"Hey...guys? Do you see these?" She piped up and pushed at her breasts with her hands, pushing them together more and then letting go. "Or is it true that deserts really do make you see things?"
(( Yaaayyy...boobies. XD Hahaha silly Sally... I really wanted to do that...cause it's hilarious how much she wanted them...))

Amleth looked at the young woman from the corner of his eye as she assured him that the... that the Wolf got hungry easily. He shuddered. That truly didn't help. Not at all. Oh, lord, he did not want to be near this creature, he did not want to be anywhere near something that had tried to eat him countless times.
But he became sort of stiff when she offered to be his friend--his best buddy. Amleth lifted his head to look at her, eyes wide. No one ever wanted to be his friend. No one was ever nice to him. They all said he was fat and ugly and lazy and dumb; no one ever had called him nice, or... or funny? Was he funny? He didn't think so, but she said, she said he was nice and funny. The Pigman gawked at her as she knelt down and hugged him, and patted his back. "Guh," he managed, as she stood up. He looked down, face red with astonishment. "Uh, guh, I... I don't eat girls," he mumbled. "Um, but, I, uh, eat lots of other things," he added quickly. "I um, I like to eat a lot, so, um, I um, hope that isn't, uh, bad or anything, I just like food, and, uh, umm..."
She smiled and introduced herself--though, it was an awfully odd introduction. "Sall...Alex... Sal... Sallex?" What? That was a stupid thing to say. That wasn't her name. That was dumb, he was stupid. He coughed and rubbed his nose. "S-sorry, that was weird, and dumb, sorry, you're not Sallex, s-sorry, Red--No! Not Red, I didn't mean that, sorry, don't get upset I was just, um, confused, and um--" He moaned and looked away. "Sorry, I'm not very smart, and um..." He squirmed. He should go home, he should, he didn't want to make her hate him, she was nice, he liked nice people, he should leave before he messed this up too much...
The price assured him to come along--have tea, and... and leave. Amleth gawked at him. "Buh--but! But... you want to... you want to CHANGE things? That's... that's not allowed, is it? I mean, I mean, things are always the same, and the same and the wolf always blows down my house and tries to eat me and then I run and go to my stupid brother's house and he saves me and we boil the wolf's butt which was MY idea and he took all the stupid credit because he's a big dumb jerkhead and he saves the day and I just want to NNNNGH!" Amleth wrung his hands, as though trying to wring the neck of the invisible person. His eyes widened, and he coughed and hid his hands behind his back, blushing. "Um uh I mean. I, uh... I want to change stuff, but... but why would you want to? You always win, everyone likes you, you're a prince, why would you...?"
But they'd already moved on, towards the forest's edge. Amleth gave a small eep, and scurried after them, without thinking. As he caught up with Sall...ex... he faltered. Should he really follow them? If he got caught, if he did anything wrong, and he always did things wrong, people would be so mad at him, people would never ever forgive him and he'd... he'd...
People hated him already. People were already sure that he did everything wrong. No one liked him. He could at least try... shouldn't he? Gulping, Amleth took a step out of the forest and turned to the others. "I'm Amleth," he said.
Sallex, taking a step forward, yelped and collapsed. The Pigman squeaked and rushed to her. "Omigod omigod are you okay did I distract you is that why you tripped I'm sorry I didn't mean to are you okay?!" As the cloud of sand settled and his visibility cleared, his face turned bright red. Gawking and rising, the girl--though, she didn't seem quite a girl anymore-- pushed on them. Amleth made a horrified noise and looked down, pulling on his ears. Oh, lordy lordy lord. ((Haha, He's so much fun to write forrr... XD))

((postie time! 'cos I promised I would... Aka? FORGIVE ME! *clings to you* And this'll probably end up being rather short... 'Cause frankly, I have about as much clue as a rock in a pond on where this should go... We left it open, so feel free, y'all, to take the plot into thine OWN HANDS! Makes for far more interesting bits, you see.))
It really came as a shock that he was ACTUALLY being followed. After all, he knew his argument had been far from effective, and even the draw of a nicely brewed tea seemed only to take hold of himself. Nevertheless, he set his jaw in a determined look and paraded from the forest, the rest of the strange group in tow.
In her excitement, Red was the first one to leave the line of the forest, and step foot into the desert. At her startled exclamation, he moved forward to help her, as was his habit since birth of his stories, but forced himself to stop by listening to the bitter little voice in his head. "Don't do it, Percy," he muttered to himself, covering his lunge forward by coughing into his hand and pretending to better fasten one of the sturrups on his horse's saddle. ((I really need to come up with a name for it...))
He hadn't needed to help her, because she was quite fine - and seemed, much to her pleasure (and his usual feeling of disgust towards the princess-type), she was better off. She had BOOBS. And was playing with them. ((*Cracks up*))
"No, those are real," Dash said into the saddle blanket on his horse, somehow feeling rather embarrassed for himself.
It was only then that he realized, the whole (though rather short) trip down to where he'd entered the forest, the pig-man was talking. He'd been chattering, albeit nervously, about changing their stories, how that wasn't allowed, and oh dear what would happen if they DID? As if hearing it over again, he turned to the poor, whimpering thing (apparently Red's appreciation for her new appendages hadn't made its way to the squat man's mentality) and shrugged. "Why not change it, Amleth?" The Prince asked jovially, though was eyeing Lok. He'd remained fairly quiet through the whole excursion.
"After all, we're all sick of it." He pretended to busy himself with getting tea, half wondering why he felt like he should be trying to hide anything at all. And for that matter, what WAS he hiding? Damn that brain of his. Seemed to wander off on its own sometimes. "And it looks like Red's got the right attitude about it... Why not buck up and take a chance?" He gave a light shrug and handed the pink man a teacup, full to the brim of steaming tea. The bits of magic he'd picked up on his journeys, he mused thoughtfully, hadn't all been for naught.
"Anyone else then?" He offered, looking (he would refuse to admit) a bit too lady-like holding a teakettle and a bright smile.
((Haha THAR. *pets Princy and skips about to do other things*
EDIT: hahaha, that one only took me 12 minutes. *giggles*))
