"Sticky rice, huh? Why didn't I think of that? Man I'm stupid...." She said, taking a large bite out of the cat shaped onigery.

Richard smiled. This he could manage.
"The bar can take you home if you give it coordinates. It's even good at not appearing in the middle of walls, anymore." He paused, considering his next words. "I'd be surprised if the reason he gives is good enough, if you'll excuse me saying."
Sighing, he noticed the girl who had just come in walk off without paying. For a glass of water, though, she wasn't worth chasing down. Mike is a timid insecure girl.

Audrey shook her head, taking another sip of her drink. "Well..this isn't the first time that this is happened...I should've know better than to do this this time but...hez nice, ya know?" She swallowed sadly. "But he won't win my sympathy this time." Her eyes brightend slightly at the thought of a ride home. "Really?"

Anaiia pushed at the bar door tentatively, as though she weren't meant to be there. Which, considering her age, she really wasn't. Being a girl of thirteen, but looking like sixteen, she had black framed glasses and her long chocolate hair sat on her back. Conspicuously, she sat at a table near the door and stared out the window. "Or maybe I should have stayed outside..." she murmured, as though continuing her train of thought out loud.

Finishing her food, Rainra wiped her hands on her pants. She then stood up and bowed to Richard. "Thank you very much for your kindness. And for listening to my sad tale. I have not met anyone who would welcome a half demon for...." Rainra smiled a small smile. "A few hundred years. I am glad to have met you. I will be on my way now." Walking to the door, she passed Anaiia. Glancing at her, Rainra opened the door, and stepped outside.

Richard nodded to Rainra. "Ahh, miss, I have seen far worse. Good luck on your travels, at any rate."
Watching her go, he noted the young girl timidly sitting in a corner, and waved her over to the bar. We'll have to hire waiters one of these days, He thought to himself, fishing a rag out from under the bar and polishing a spot on the bar. Mike is a timid insecure girl.

Lily pushed the door open eagerly, her bag dragging behind her. She tossed it to the floor as she approached a chair, sat, and scanned the room.
"Hello." she said, her eyes resting on Barkeep. "Might I drown my sorrows with some of your fascinating rum, or is this place straight-edge?" She chuckled at the end, knowing the answer already. She turned and looked down at the floor, scratching off her already peeling black nailpolish. She was 19, but was abandoned and loved to drink alcohol.

Zoey opened the door of the bar. She looked around, decided there was nothing here worth stealing, then took a seat at the bar. She was fifteen, so she couldn't have alcohol, but they couldn't throw her out. And if they knew her they wouldn't try.

Richard frowned, considering his options. In some universes, carding people had the desired effect of obtaining a card and covering his a**, just in case the police of that world decided to pay a visit. In others, it offended the patron and made the bar clear out fast.
And then there was the whole question of different age limits on different planets.
With a mental shrug, he decided to let it pass. "Light, gold or dark, miss?", he said, getting out a shot glass.
He nodded the girl at the end of the bar. Definitely no hard stuff for her, but this was just as much restaurant as it was bar, so long as everyone paid up. Mike is a timid insecure girl.

((This is sort of generic bar plot #47, though, innit? Just a break from all the real roleplaying, to see your character in a different setting.
Thanks, I like my name too. smile
Also, I'd really appreciate if you'd distinguish your IC posts (if any) from OOC posts. See how this is double-bracketed? Yeah.)) Mike is a timid insecure girl.

Zoey looked over at the man talking at the bar. She waved her hand to get his attention. "I'd just like some soda, if you don't mind. Got any?" she asked.
Zoey looked around her at the bar. It was the nicest one she'd been to, even if it was a little old looking.
"I'd also like french fries, if that's not too much trouble."
She liked too make people think she was polite, so that when they tried to mess with her they were surprised, which opened oppurtunities to take them down.

"Dark," she said. She sighed and piled some money on the bar, as well as a good tip.
Lily stuffed her face in her arms which lay on the counter, her legs kicking back and forth slowly. She picked her had up once more and yawned, then positioned herself on her elbow as she watched the barkeep do his job. "How's business been lately, Barkeep?" she asked, attempting to make small talk while she waited.

Grinning, Richard poured out the rum. Money from Earth, at long last! It felt good to be back home-- well, home relatively. Same universe, at any rate.
"It's been worse, I can tell you that. I'm glad to back to someplace nearer to my hometown, I can tell you that," he said with a chuckle, counting the money and nodding to himself. "This place seems like a good one, too-- more business than I expected right off the bat."
Done with his first customer, he moved down the bar to the girl. "I'm sorry miss, I was with another customer. What did you say you wanted?", he said, pulling out a notepad and pen from the apron's waist pocket. Mike is a timid insecure girl.

"Soda and french fries," she said, not fazed by the fact that he hadn't heard her the first time. It was okay with her. As long as she got the food, she didn't mind what happened.
