i got a few hand books and the charecter builder book but nobody would ever play with me so the books are sitting in the basement i would be willing to play though i am in
ps i dont dress up either beacause it seems like it would be stupid and expensive but i can see why someone would want to dress up beacause it would set up the atmosphere for the game a little dressing up doesn't make you crazy spending more time playing dnd then the time your at work or school that is what i deem crazy

Lady Kalimar I've played and dm'd for countless years. I noticed someone mentioned a dragon disciple. my current favortie charri took that its awesome once its maxed out! I actually thought when i joined this guild that it was a Gamers guild and there would be lots of games available to join.... That was my hope, too. But perhaps we can create one? I have another person interested in one -- if you're interested in running a game, I'd love to play, otherwise I can DM, still thinking of idea for the game, though.

I don't know how to play but as soon as I stop being so lazy i wanted to make a rp with stats. Like (+5 damage points -2 defence points= -3 Health points.) I think it would be really fun.

I know when I first joined this guild I was also expecting it to be crawling with gamers as well. I do play DnD and have been doing so for about eight years now.

Euphoric Ghost I've only played 2nd Ed, which I think is the best one ever. biggrin But how would you know if you've never played more recent versions? Mind you, I've only played 3.0/3.5 (And only played 3.0 for a few months before the switch to 3.5). But I'd like to try other versions.

LarryLobster Orgrim Doomhammer I do, but I'm not one of those nerds that take the game too seriously and dress up. ya i know, those ppl give all the rest of us players a bad name Even worse are those who get hopped up and kill themselves whe their character dies. Anyone see that Reno 911 thing about that? XD

I can't say that I've played D&D, but I've recently started playing a character in my kenjutsu maestro's game of Chivalry and Sorcery. It was amusing how many people died, last game, but it was amusing that my chacter (thanks to ridiculous constitution) was able to take a critical of triple damage and was still alive.

ninja I am... ninja I'm currently DMing a campaign. Other then that, I've been playing since 2nd Edition... Oh how I miss THAC0... crying Alas, 2nd Edition books are some what of a rarity these days, and I've never really had the money to buy enough books to make the game truly fun. holy crap of the pope john paul! DND is so freaking awesome! I'm right now a Lv. 10 cleric with some kickass spells, I have a farie NPC that owes me a life debt and its like higher leved than me

DnD is a great outlet when you're upset. You can be a jerk to your party and they congratulate you for playing in character really well when you were just venting steam. I love it. It's a great way to meet people! rofl
