Mew felt someone pull her out of the water. Her wings were soaked and probably useless until they were fully dry. In her mouth, she had a large fish hanging off of her fangs. The mention of a fishing pole made the lynx-fairy tilt her head. The lynx fairy just settled in his lap once they were on shore, curling up to him. She could only nod, feeling water run off of her.

Astaliare grinned beautifully and chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "You may have gotten soaked, but you caught a nice-sized fish," he pointed out with a small chuckle. He sounded a little proud of her, not that he was one to ever admit anything he felt. Perhaps he was, perhaps he wasn't. The fire fox lightly began to rub one of her drenched ears. "Now that you've caught a fish, are you ready to take it home and eat it, then change back into your dress? ...Or is there anything that you would still like to do outside?"

Mew giggled back, nibbling on the fish she already had in her mouth. The lynx-fairy was overjoyed, wagging her tail at the praise he was giving her. She purred from the rub she got on one of her ears, her eyes drooping closed slightly, as her tail wagged. Replying to the latter, she shook her head, having nothing else to do, besides eat the fishy that was in her mouth.

((Responding)) Little Mister Kittie "Do you really want her at the wedding...She's my sister, and I love her, but...I'm just not sure she's 'formal' material," the feline murmured out softly. In all honesty she would love for Erica Marie to be there, but...she just wasn't sure her sister could behave herself. "I'll talk with her later on about it..." Raelen smiled lightly and kissed his forehead. After all, the wedding wasn't anytime too soon. "My brother, if I can find him. I know you'll adore him. If he comes, Erica Marie will be on her best behavior, you'll see a side of her that is rarely seen. I don't know how he does it, but he has her trained," she giggled quietly, her tail curling. "He's very proper." Byakko chuckled and ran his fingers through her hair. "You have a very diverse family." He then glanced back over to the shore. "Would you care to return back and dry off a little?" His blue eyes stared over at her from the corners. He did not wish for her to get a cold.

The fire fox nodded his head and reluctantly pulled his had away from the ear that he had been rubbing. He moved over and picked up the basket that held the two fish he caught, and then picked up the basket that held the cookies and milk. He yawned lightly, not really having slept well. "After you look at a few paintings, what do you say to a nap outside in the sun?" Astaliare really could use a nap. After he had gone to bed, and Mew had gone outside, Jeannot woke him up and needed comfort and reassurance because he missed Axel. Crazy little rabbit...
Raelen chuckled and nodded her head, "You're right...I do." The feline tilted her head to the side and blinked, looking back towards the shore for a few moments before offering a nod of her head. "Sure," she said lightly. She pulled herself out of the water, and began to jump from one rock to the other, to save herself from getting more wet than she already was. Drying off was always such a hassle.

Mew tilted her head, feeling the hand move away. She blinked and watched him pick up the baskets and settled with standing up with her fishy happily in her mouth. Her tail wagged behind her and nodded to the suggestion, finding that very pleasing! The fairy-lynx shook her body off , her curls splashing water every where but her wings had to air dry or else they would rip.

Astaliare smiled lightly and offered her a brief pat on the head, before he shook off as well. The fire fox let out a sigh when his twin tails poofed out. He grabbed them and smoothed out the fur one by one while leading Mew back towards the house. Once inside, he led her up to her room, which had been perfectly arranged with a bed, a love-seat for her to nap on, and a couple of chairs. Astaliare smiled, "Do you like it?" He asked quietly, while walking into his room and opening his closet to pull out a few paintings. Most of them were scenery. There was a painting of Jeannot coloring on the wall mixed in with the others.

Mew smiled from the brief pat. She followed after Starry as he lead her towards the house. She peeked into her room, before nodding, her fish wiggling in her mouth with the nods. The lynx-fairy curiously followed after Starry seeing him pull out a few paintings. The girl just smiled, wagging her tail, eyeing all the details and colors. She took the fish by it's tail and held onto it like so. "Mew like Starry art!" n3n

"I'm pleased that you like my art, Mew," Astaliare replied lightly, smiling brightly to her. The fire fox yawned and stretched. He really wanted to just lay down on his bed and curl up, but instead, he sat on the edge of it and looked out the window. His twin tails flicked, and he smiled towards the lynx-fairy again. "Well, are you ready for a nap in the sun, Mew?"

¤Mew smiled and nodded, her tail wagging behind her. The fairy-lynx didn't really like the feeling of having her clothes drenched. "Mew change?" She asked first, wrinkling her nose.¤

Astaliare blinked and immediately jumped up off of his bed. He had almost completely forgotten that he was wet! Thank goodness for Mew reminding him, even if she didn't intentionally do so. The fire fox moved over and picked her dress up off of his dresser, handing it towards her. "Of course," he said with a small smile, before rummaging through to find the clothes that he usually wore to change into.

Mew blinked, setting her fish on one of Starry's tables to get her dress. Her lynx tail shook behind her, drying the fur off. She ran her fingers through her hair, squeezing the water out of her curly pigtails. Uncaring where she changed, she just took off the shirt and pants and slipped on the dress with ease, remembering to put her arms and head in the right holes.

Astaliare blinked, and turned a bright shade of red when Mew so quickly pulled off her clothes. He had barely had any time to turn around, which he did. Well...that...um...that was awkward. For him, at least. Perhaps not for her, well, obviously not for her. But...um...yes...that...er...he would have to break her of that habbit. Afterall, there were men in this house, such as Lucydia, who would take full advantage of the young girl. And then there was Erica Marie, who if Astaliare wasn't around, would ravage the poor girl's body. "Mew...about...changing infront of other people. Its...um...well, its not a very good thing to do." Astaliare moved into his bathroom and closed the door, leaving it only a crack open so that she could still hear him. "There are people in this house that..you need to be careful around, so...its probably best to not just strip down and change infront of them, m'kay?" He spoke calmly, and gently as he took off his wet clothes and tried to find a place to put them aside to so that he could get into his dry clothes. Damnit. He needed a laundry basket...

Mew blinked, looking to Starry. The hybrid just tilted her head a bit confused by the explanation. She didn't bother to think of it much and just removed her hair ties, shaking her hair to remove any other moisture (forgetting about the painting mind you). The feline blinked. "So.. Does that make Mew bad..?" Her ears flicked down a bit, slightly worn out and curled up on the floor next to the wet clothes she borrowed.

The fire fox sighed lightly in the bathroom and pulled on his dry clothes, then carried his wet clothes out to a laundry basket that he didn't realize he even had. He dropped them in there, along with Mew's wet clothes, then turned to look at her. "No, it doesn't make you bad, Mew. But there are bad people who would do bad things to you," he explained quietly. Finally his eyes drifted towards his paintings, and he blinked. Oh no...he stared at them wide-eyed for a few moments, not really knowing what to do. He didn't want to get mad and yell at her, but...Astaliare sighed and shook his head. At least they weren't his favorite paintings...He could always re-paint them...salvage what he could of these ones. He picked them up, and set them next to the garbage can, then lightly put an arm around her shoulders. "...Shall we go take an afternoon nap in the sun now?"
