Please do not post in this thread.
It's been such a long time since a newsletter has come out, since November in fact. But finally an issue of The Hesperides Report has come out again. The name, The Hesperides Report was the name Lime Colored Band-Aid bestowed upon this newsletter and I thought it would only be right if the name continued as it was before.
Every month, I will be posting a newsletter at the end of the month for the month that just finished. The newsletter will summarize what happened during the month, if events occured, pet growths or pets being given out, important news concerning either owners or the shop, etc. This newsletter will also sometimes have a monthly game to do. A game that will last for at least one week to a month. The newsletter will also have articles either written by myself or other's as well as interviews sometimes.

  The month of June proved to be a busy month indeed. Over the course of the month, much more information on the Choumeida was issued whether in the thread or in the in-depth Hespierden guide, we were introduced to the five default hairstyles that Choumeida can have, the Choumeida event, and finally an installation of a new system, the Monthly Nomination.
All information on the Choumeida, or at least a lot of the information can be found at the In-Depth Hespierden Guide which is located here: Guide a very informative guide so check it out if you wish to know more.
The five default hairstyles that Choumeida can have are the braid, curls, upsweep, terra twist, and the very first one shown to us which looks to me like a combination of the upsweep and a let down hairstyle. However these types of hairstyles are only for the adult Choumeida, the teen and child will stay the same except when the hair is all custom done.
The Choumeida Event proved to be very successful for the thread. Ten Choumeida were given away, six during a raffle, three during games, and the last through a history for the Choumeida contest. Congratulations to Jitsumi1221 on creating the history for this Hespierden race. Also a big congratulations to the other winners of those Choumeida. But to those those who were unable to win a Choumeida through that event, well fear not for their shall be quite a few Choumeida for the upcoming Wilds Event.
Over the past few days the staff had discussed the idea brought forth by DawnieChan about a monthly nomination for one lucky nominee. At the end of each month the staff will sit down and go through the thread again to find a person who the staff finds most worthy of a monthly nomination prize. The prize given to the lucky person will be rare, perhaps a Hespierden or maybe an elder transformation or a cosplay, etc.
Note, this nomination of the month is not to encourage bumping. Bumping will not win you the nomination of the month, no a person has to chat with others to be considered. However a bump/emoticon now and then doesn't harm anyone.

 Born from a cupcake where a heart beats loud within, the Choumeida species were first introduced to us in May. Consisting of four stages, these delectable beauties were drawn by the immensely talented Anime Jet. An excellent addition to the island of Hesperides, with the Choumeida being the first water oriented species!
The Choumeida dwell deep within the Lavender Waters. While their upper body is very much like a human female's body with considerable differences, their lower body forces them to stay in the water. A tail, like a mermaid's but made out of cupcake wrapper, is a main reason as to why the Choumeida must stay in water.
However, with the release of the new type of Choumeida, known to us as the Blessed Choumeida. With this release, perhaps with the wings upon their back and the halo hovering above their heads this certain type of Choumeida can hover over the water? A certain amount of guesswork but who knows, only time will tell.

 Now with everything that has past, what with the month of June being finished, one must ask themselves what next? What may happen in the next month?
The Wilds Event is still very much in planning, there have been Itoku done, Minya done, and Choumeida done but there is still a lot of stuff needed to be done in order for this event to take off. DawnieChan once mentioned that the event may take place around July-August sometime, however the Wilds Event is still far away and may not happen till August. But look forward to it because Gate to Hesperides hopes it'll be our biggest event yet!
Look forward to a mini-event soon though! Perhaps in the next week or so! I am unable to disclose any details unfortunately but the staff hopes that you at Gate to Hesperides will enjoy yourself if you should be able to participate. Information for this event may be coming along soon, or at least I hope so.
Games and more games. When more staff were appointed in the month of May it may of been obvious that more games would be occuring. The month of July will be no exception! Games will occur weekly, perhaps even daily depending on the staff member. Flowers are quite awesome and if you save up enough you may earn yourself a nice prize. So collect and collect, if you wish.

This here concludes our second issue of The Hesperides Report, Unfortunately it is still quite small but I hope to make next issue's bigger! I hope to those who read this entire newsletter through enjoyed it, though if you disliked it or thought it was boring then that is fine with me. Everyone has an opinion but I hope it was not too dull! Fin.
