Nicolieus didn't know what to say to him just talking like that. What was he getting at. She raised an eye brow. "Steal me away?" She looked at him funny. "Well, at the moment, if someone just came out of no where to steal me, it wouldn't be from anyone else." She corrected him. She wasn't with anyone. "And no one has interest in me, so I don't think there will be any type of stealing anyways." She said simply.
"I'm sorry I make you feel weird." she said and stood up. "I'll leave if you wish."

"Don't leave..." His ears flickered and he listened closely to what he said.
Somehow he felt something get taken away when she said no one had interest in her.. and stealing her away.
"YEA! THEY WOULD STEAL YOU AWAY FOM ME!" He braked out. His eyes mad but then he quickly realized what he said and covered his maw. "I meant your brother. yea your brother." His closed his eyes shut tightly. Dang he had to spout that out. theis was horrible! Maybe he should have left when he had the chance!!! His tail fluffed and moved around quickly and his paws shivered. What could he possibly do now... He already had his tongue spout what he thought too quickly.

She was a bit taken back at his yelling. What was he yelling for, he could have said what he did a little bit quieter. Then, she realized what he said and lifted an eye brow. " How could... I be taken away from you?" She questioned him and noticed he tried to make it like he meant to say her brother. Which she didn't believe at all.
She flicked her tail and didn't press the question if he choose not to answer

"I... -" He stopped. He so couldnt fall for this. He couldnt just blurt out his feelings. HE DIDNT HAVE ANY!! < he thought but somehow he knew better in the back of his mind. A sudden worry now.
"Its weird. But .. anyhow. Your in my neck of the woods. so.. im .. i want- obligated i mean to protect you.. and .. I dunno.. some could.." this was not going well. He just met the girl! What was he thinking. No. He couldnt or he wouldnt let that come to him saying it at least.
Shrugging and answring now with a more calming voice. "What ever you want it to mean I guess." His tail flipping around as his orange/red cheeks became more deep red.
"Dont think youll worry. I might ever meet you again... So it got no difference. Wont matter a thing to yea.."

Nicolieus didn't know what he was trying to say. He was very confusing. She raised an eye brow at him and stood up. " You don't have to be obligated to watch over me. I'm a big girl, after all." She said with a hint of flirt in her voice for the first time. She wasn't sure if he liked her or if she was just making him as confused as he was making her.
"I'm sure we'll meet again if you stay around here. I come here often when getting away from.... things." She said. Her voice was back to her normal dull quiet one. Her tail flicked about as she stood there for a moment, still not sure if she should leave, or stay.
"If I'm making it so uncomfortable for you, I can leave." She said finally. "I mean, I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable. Maybe it's just because, like you said, I'm the first one you've met?" She nodded.

"Hemp. Well. It aint all cause I dont want to protect yea. Even if your the toughest girl around I gotta protect yea!" He said getting to his feet standing. Firmly and confident.
Then when she said again that she might leave he shook his head and ears fell back down to his head. "I don't want you to go." His voice went soft and gentle. "Maybe if it was just you being the first of my species i saw. But dunno. No one else confuses me more." He looked up in to the trees. Maybe he was getting to emotional but.. he wasnted to see what she'd say. Somehow he felt she deserved to know.
Of course his mind still drew a blank like any male would to even think! About ever resorting to emotions. How pedthidc he felt.

She smiled at him. "Well, you wouldn't really know if I confused you the most." She paused. "I mean, I'm sure I would be very confused meeting my first of my species. Though, I had my brother so I knew there was more then just I." Of course, she wasn't exactly getting what he meant. She wasn't use to being told that others liked her. He was the only other male, except the one that had attacked her, that she had held a conversation with. Well Tried to.
She flicked her tail wildly as she watched in with interested. Time had passed, and she hadn't even noticed. The sun had slowly made it's way to where it was starting to set, yet still in the sky. The breeze blew every once in awhile to show the presence of the trees as they listened to the two's conversation.
"Or have you met more?" She asked. She was certain that he said she was the first, but she always forgot simple details like that. She wasn't exactly the smartest, yet she was smart about directions and hunting. Never any good at hunting, but she helped her brother out more then he thought. "Oh, and Thank you for caring. I mean, not every day one would take interested in protecting someone they had just met."

"Yea your the first." He sat down now.
"I mean I met other peoples and stuff. Humans and different animals. you.. dunno. Confusingly weird but on in all, I think you may think im pretty weird for spouting this crap." She got under his sick not like most others. Just More. Much more like he wanted to say somethings but afraid what she might think.
He walked on closer to her and put himself eye to eye with her.
"Well. You did wonder to my parts.. and yea. I care." His eyes showed a light emotion but it would soon disappear as he replayed his actions in his head. For now he didnt realize it yet, and showed a smile.

She hadn't met any humans yet, or at least she tried to avoid them. She watched him for a moment as he walked closer to her. Ok, that made her feel a little uncomfortable, but she didn't move. She took in every word he said. Slightly getting now what he meant. How could she be so stupid. She blushed from being embarrassed that she must have seemed like an air head. "Oh?" Was all that came out of her mouth for a second. "Your not weird then I am stupid." She said finally. She couldn't help herself.
She didn't want to speak again. It made her feel even more stupid now that she thought about what he had been saying all along. She closed her eyes for a second. "Well, this isn't really just your part. I mean, I walk here all the time, and I haven't seen you before."

"Well. You know Im here now. " He jerked his head to one side then obviously away from her a tad since he felt nervous himself. He lifted a paw and put it on her head.
"Your not stupid.Alright. Don't say that about yourself." His eye twitched some. Being called weird by himself made him feel odd but he kinda was. He blushed more. "Don't look at that. People might think your an airhead and steal yea." He sighed some sliding his hand down to ear then off. More like a command his comment but one that he tried to hide his blush in.
This is how they could take her away he thought. Pondering how much airheads were just swept away; felt like he needed to worry now. Turning just a little away so they wouldn't have to be so close to one another.

Her ears went back. She wasn't an airhead. She just didn't get the whole love thing. Or anything like it. She swished her tail. "I'm not an airhead." She said with a firm voice. Now slightly angered, though she kind of thought that she was acting like one. But that didn't give him the right to say it.
Her eyes moved away from him to the ground. He was just being unclear to her, he was the one that made her seem like an airhead. She calmed down momentarily. He didn't know better. She looked back at him.

"Ah! I didnt mean it like that!" It was a joke.. he shook his paws in disapproval.
"That isn't what I meant! It was a joke.." He put a paw behind his head; getting a slight laugh.
"Im sorry really.. you kno, i just don't act like this .. odd around others. Well your my first of my species I met but around humans its been defensive." He shook his head lightly.
"Nevermind... Hopefully I didn't give you the wrong impression. Wait I did im sorry." He leaned back some trying to protect what he thought was himself. His heart and thoughts. "You look cute." He tried to compliment... No harm in it since he felt like he was already doing wrong.

Every moment made her feel more and more dumb. Now she was the one that was acting all weird. She decided not to say anything more that might make her look even more dumb then she could possibly be now. Her cheeks were still a slight bit of pink upon her tan face.
She nodded as he apologized. At least he did, well, she kind of figured he would. Then his next comment made her blush even more and look at him with slight shock. "What?" She said without realizing she said something.

"I said you were cute ok." His cheeks burned. Had looked in to her eyes. Gauh he hated apologizing but for this girl. He did enough damage...He had to apologize for.
"Sorry.. that i .. am odd. And.. I want to keep seeing you around. Ok? I don't want this to be the last time i see you.." He took it all out as if he took off a 300lb weight from his back. Even if they just met. She was.. she got to him. Not like anyone else could and she stayed beside him..
even if he was hard to handle. That meant a lot of this crud male.

She still didn't quite take in what he had said. Not sure to take it as a complement or what. She bit her lip a second. Being told stuff like this wasn't want she was expecting from anyone. She sat there for a few seconds, letting a strange awkward feeling pass over her.
He soon spoke again, this time apologizing. Why was he apologizing for being odd? Wasn't that a better thing then being like everyone else? Well, to her maybe. But to him it could be a totally different thing. "You have no reason to Apologize." She finally said in a whisper. Her eyes were back on him.
She nodded. "As long as you stay around here, you'll see me more." She said in the same whispered voice. She wasn't sure if he could hear her, but her voice and somewhat vanished from her throat. She cleared her voice. "I'm sure we'll run into each other another time." She said a bit louder.
