"Well thank you for your help my good wizard friend! one more question before we part ways. Has anyone else been around here recently asking about this lost contenant as well? If so i want to know EVERYTHING you know about them."

Firu and Regal:
"It shouldn't take more than half an hour. I'm glad you're willing to help us."
With that, you are led out to the edge of the docks. When you get out there, a man wearing the badge of the dock authority sits up, having been sitting down awaiting your arrival.
"Ah, so glad to have you here. Every time I step out onto the sand and get ready to put up the detection sphere, a couple of Leapers come at me. They're not very powerful, but I can't defend myself while I'm putting the sphere up. Don't get too comfortable though; they're nasty little things."
With that, he pulls up his pant leg to reveal nasty bite marks on his calf.
"Anyway, let's get this done, shall we?"
With that, he steps out onto the sand, holding the two foot diameter detection sphere in his hands. The tide is currently out right now, so he is able to stand on dry(ish) land while performing the necessary chants to get the sphere floating twenty feet in the air like all the others.
Sure enough, as soon as he starts chanting, a pair of Lurkers burrow up out of the sand and make ready to attack him. Go for it (posted up under Demons).
Gerbo:
"Hmmmmm," he muses. "We get adventurers in the city from time to time looking around, but not too many of them bother with us here. Still, two days ago a group came through here. They asked me where I had looked, how I had looked, bought a local map, and left. Four of them, I think. Very cavalier attitudes, carried themselves like hardened duelists."

"Lets take care of these beasts! You there, just focus on the shield!"
Regal looked over at the man in authority, then to the leaper as he ran forward. First pulling out the sword of mist and activating its power, he then put that blade away, and reached threw a dimensional rip, pulling out the sword of nine clouds. Using the massive blade with just one hand, he strikes at the first reaper, pulling the blade threw the first and into the second as well.
(Dice for sword of mist: 1-25-breaks, 26-100-its ok, use sword of mist to raise attack from 6=11, use SNC to increase attack to 15, attack leaper 1, whiplash to reaper 2, dice for attack.)

Gerbo then stared off into space for a second before snaping back to reality.
"Oh yes! And by the way m'lad, you don't happen to have any special spells for sale, do you??"

Firu and Regal:
Er, I'm not going to let you keep the bonus of the Sword of Mist when you use the Sword of Nine Clouds, as it specifies that you lose all other equip bonuses. Still, your 11 ATK and 2 damage is just enough to kill the Leaper anyway. This Leaper strikes at Regal, doing one point of damage, and casts Chill on him.
Firu hits the second Leaper for 5 damage, while it hits him back for 10 damage, minus four because of Firu's high defense. Firu then regenerates five of the six resulting points of damage.
Regal: 21/25
Firu: 24/25
Leaper: 5/10
Next round, the enraged Leaper pounces at Firu again, casting Frost.
Gerbo:
"They struck off towards the north gate, but that's the city's main gate so it doesn't really mean much. As for special spells, I have a special combat spell I call Show Weakness. 500 chips, makes the target get hit harder by physical attacks."

Gerbo said while he scratched his head.
"Well i dont have that much on me but i do find it interesting... I will be back for it after i find my Airship! Thank you again for all your help."
Gerbo then pulled out a piece of parchment from his robes and slide it towards the man.
"I am an emmesary from the Order of Magic Preservation. If you are ever in need of magical help at all contact me."
Gerbo then nodded and left, content for now. He then headed over to the docks to find out what Regal and Firu were up to.

Regal decided not to waste his strength and just attacked the beast.
"You there! Is the sheild almost ready?"

Firu and Regal:
Firu's Spell Breaker slams into the Leaper's Frost spell, annihilates it, and continues through to take the Leaper out of the fight. The Leaper's attack manages to break somewhat through Firu's defense, but Firu is back at full life at the end of the fight.
Regal: 21/25, 2 AP, 2 MP.
Firu: 25/25, 1 AP, 2 MP.
The wizard finishes the incantations and the sphere floats above the sand.
"Thank you for the backup. Let's get back to the dock master and inform him that we're done."
Upon your return, you are rewarded with 100 chips each for your trouble, and the sincere thanks of the dock authority.
Gerbo:
Hreeth takes your parchment with a bow. "I'm always open to meeting new associates in the field of magic. Good luck to you in your search."
As you arrive at the docks, you see Firu and Regal with a third man walking into a large building overlooking the richest part of the docks, and bearing the seal of the city. Your party is now reunited.

Gerbo ran forward and blended himself with the crowd. He then walked behind Firu and Regal, still trying not to be seen.
"Psssst! Hey guys! I'ts me!"
Gerbo said pulling on the pant leg of Regal.
"Well, i got some really good information! I talked to the most powerful diviner here in Thial! He said that he can't find it! so chances are, all the treasure and such should still be there too!!! Including the AIRSHIP!."

looking down at Gerbo, regal tried to make only little noise.
"So if this 'MOST POWERFUL' diviner couldn't find it, then how are we supposed to??"
