I like to go for the fantasy, adventure kind of thing. Sometimes I like comedy and romance though.

I don't think that a manga should really be judged just by genre. In the same way as I don't think Hitch and American blood/slashers should be compared.
I just like a deeply involving story with suggests that the author is sophisticated. Manga that asks important human questions are good too.
Currently my two series loves are 'Death Note' and 'One Piece'... they probably have nothing in common and don't fall under the same genre... However, I think those things I listed above apply to both these series.

I mostly like shonen, but when it's more specific I like samurai/ninja anime, especially historical samurai/ninja anime.

Its hard to categorize my likes into something so specific, or should I say general?
I do enjoy Action/Adventure, but with that usually comes Comedy and Fantasy.

most of my favorite series tend to be either shoujo (i guess "romance"?) or mahou shoujo. i don't limit myself to those genres, though. i like some slice of life stuff, too, i guess. sci~fi and fantasy is pretty up there, too. i'll pretty much go for any genre as long as the particular story interests me in some way.

well once again i'm unable to vote in the poll, but i tend to lean towards shoujo, specifically superhappy stuff like happy lesson, so comedy i guess. but i also really like inuyasha and FMA so whatever categories they fall under. action/adventure i suppose

Hmm..I like a wide variety. I guess in general I lean towards fantasy with a touch of horror to it, but I'm also a big shoujo fan.
