She tried once, could walk for several days afterwards. I kinda decided not to let her go through that again.* Ali still had his eyes fixed at his feet, making sure he didn't do the same to Amara as he had done to his wife. In fact he was starting to feel guilty for dancing with her instead of Clavi, even if she were....temporarily gone. A slight shout caused Ali's head to snap up and to his right, then at the couple lying on the floor with a agitated look at him. Something that caused Ali to stop, smile nervously and release Amara. As far as dancing concerned, he was done for now.*

She smiled a little, knowing that he felt uncomfortable. He may have been a master of deception and lies when he chose to be, but right now, she was reading him like a book, and she felt sorry and very guilty for even asking for him to dance with her in the first place.
"Thanks, Ali."
She said as she turned to the couple with a curious look.

Yeah, sure.* Ali watched as the couple got up on their feet and walked off, the girl cursing Ali's name under her breath. This was why Ali didn't like Balls, he didn't fit in. He'd rather sit in a bar and talk to people who were also street smart, not this kind of fancy smanchy stuff.* I think I'll get some fresh air.

Your choice.* Ali smirked a bit at her before he headed towards the balcony, he never said she had to stay with him at the ball. She was free to do as she pleased, well within certain limitations.*

Amara sighed as she saw him walk off. Something wasn't the same about him, and it made her sad seeing him without Clavi. Leaving him be for a bit, she turned and moved over to the nearest punch bowl, grabbing a glass and pouring herself some with the large spoon supplied. It was moments after she had gotten her drink when she was surrounded by about ten males. She let out a long, drawn-out sigh and her eyes gazed around the many girls glaring at her for stealing basically all the eligable men. That fact, made her smile a little.

* Ali stood on the balcony with his head into his right hand as it was supported on top of the marble railing and his left fingers tapping on it as far as his left arm reached, his eyes starring up at the star filled sky. Watching them twinkle. It was strange to suddenly be alone now again, to awaken alone to a new day and lie down waiting for the next. You never knew what you have until you loose it....such a true quote indeed. What should he do if he didn't manage to bring them back?, re-marry, live in solitude...kill himself? Nah...Clavi wouldn't want him to kill himself nor re-marry, guess that left to only live in solitude and do something to pass the time until his demise. Problem was Ali was unsure about everything at this point and that made it frustrating, however it wasn't something he would show others. He'd suck it up and act like everything was fine, was no need to bother others with his problems.*

Amara was quite happily having a friendly chat with a large group of people when a man came up behind her and asked her to come aside. She smiled and accepted as he lead her to the side of the room and around a corner. Suddenly, something didn't seem right, and she raised one eyebrow slightly.
"What is it, exactly?"
She questioned harshly just before his hands gripped her arms and forcefully pushed her against the wall. At this point, her eyes widened and she began to struggle.
"I always get what i want."
The man said to her with a smile. Amara dug her nails into his arms and kneed him in the stomach, but it seemed to do nothing, he didn't even flinch. If Amara had thought of this place to be an attraction to rapists, perhaps she would have brought a dagger or four, but seeing as it was a formal event with aquaintances of Aliator, she assumed it would be safe.

* Ali was on his way back inside as he noticed the large man holding onto Amara, as strange as it was it brought a smile onto Ali's face as he began to walk over to him. Once close enough, Ali simply grabbed onto the mans tie and pulled as he walked up behind him. The sudden block of oxygen would be enough for the man to release Amara in a state of panic, Allowing Ali to pull him along quite a distance back before he spun around and sent a punch to the mans lower back. Bringing him to his knees and allowing Ali to take a headlock on him, tight enough to make the blood in his head to start gathering up.* Amara, Would you say that he tried to force himself on you?

Amara was muttering curses under her breath and rubbing the bruising from the mans force on her arm as Ali was working his magic on him. She glared at him, a look of utter hatred.
"Yeah, you bet he ******** forced me."
It was unlike Amara to use such language, unless she was far passed the stage of pissed off.

Okay then.* The mans eyes opened themselves up wide as he watched Amara and just as he let out the beginning of a plead, a plead silenced by the sickening sound of bone breaking. Certain people around gasped and turned away out of horror, those that were Lieutenants and Soldiers In Ali's service simply watched with a neutral expression. There were to be no rapists in the city of Euphoria. Ali simply dropped him to the floor afterwards and took a deep breath, looking over at Amara.* Continue the party, Soldier Number 234 and 512...get rid of this maggot.

She stared down at the man with a hatefull expression before sighing and looking at her already bruising arm.
"Thanks, Ali. Heh... i better go get some ice on this."
She said with a slightly smiled.
"Know where i can get some?"

* Ali starred at her for a few seconds before he reached down and pulled out a piece of cloth he had in his jacket pocket, walking over to a nearby table and picking up some ice cubes and putting them into the cloth, and starting to tie it up afterwards. Walking back over and placing it onto one of her bruises.* Be more careful next time.

She flinched slightly as the ice was placed onto the bruise, and then she gently took the small pouch he hand made into her hand and held it in the same place.

* Ali looked around himself and eventually saw the host, watching him for a few moments before Ali smiled. Bronx was a Soldier, that also made him a police officer. He knew the rules so no harm had been done, Although it seemed like his wife wasn't on the same page. Screaming to Ali and Amara to get out of her home. This was the second ball Ali had attended that had ended in death, maybe these things weren't so bad afterall.*I think you've had enough action for one night.
