I need a purple piwi feather for a quest and I'v killed every purple piwi I find, but none of them have given me a feather. A pink and a red one gave me feathers and a yellow one gave me an amulet but that's it.

And yeah, the purples seem to be stingy with feather drops. If you have to, also check the merchants and the resource sellroom for a purple feather, as I imagine that it's not too picky about *how* you get the feather. ^^

MS is down for a while for a patch or something. Figures it'd just so happen to be during the entire time I'd ever be on the game.
I hate when that happens so frequently. Night-owls get no love.

I had to buy Goball wool too becaue they were giving me leather when I defeated them.

Okay, so in MS, I went to the Dungeon and into the area past Sleepywood where all the blue horny mushrooms are.
During some experience grinding, I saw this big gargoyle-esque thing spawn like 2 meters from where my magician was standing. I get onto a higher ledge and luckily, I'm able to Magic Claw it dead without it able to hurt me back, and I net 260-ish experience from it, and it drops like 10 different cake items.
Weirdest thing I ever saw, 2nd only to seeing a flying version of one of those things appear during the flight to Orbis.

I have pretty much bypassed trying the Lord of the Rings Online because I was afraid it would butcher the source material (which puts me into one of my rare bad moods) but a friend of mine who plays it recently told me that they stayed true to Prof. Tolkien's work and that it has the utmost respect for the source material. So now I am looking into trying it out. Has anyone here played it and can you tell me how accurate is it to Tolkien's Middle-earth?

Man, Dofus is weird.
I'm running around with a fairy killing a bunch of sheep-like creatures.

I now have Alchemy, Farmer, and Baker. All of them are at least 30. The funny thing is, whenever I start making goodies with the oven, the cake song gets into my head. FYI, I can't find a link to the song itself, but this YTMND has it playing. http://picardlovescakesong.ytmnd.com/

Jamie Kirkpatrick Anyone ever crank up some tunes while gaming? 3nodding Yeah, I usually put in the AOTC soundtrack, Pirates 1 soundtrack, or the radio set on my fav station. I'd play more SW music but that is the only one I have. My Eni is now level 10! And my Cra is 8! I need to get on more.

Indeed you do. I've got a lvl 16 Eni and 13 Iop, and I don't like going solo or with just SW since the 2 of us can't take on the more rewarding things without help, so I can really use the extra buddy for a 3-way, er, I mean trio. rolleyes
The cool part is that while my Iop's a miner and that's a royal pain to level, she can whup the crackler guardians easily enough. Usually takes 1 or 2 hits of Pressure followed by a Brokle and that's it.
What's funny was I was already in one mine and sometime later an Enu pops in and apparently I'm suddenly stealing HIS minerals and he calls me a puta whenever we cross paths.
