Sibalto considered her with a thoughtful tilt of his head. "Have you seen much of the mountains? I have been to their feet, I confess, but never much higher than the first passes and plateus... And I've not been to the secret groves that you certainly must see when you fly over the forest... I'm sure you've seen more falls and lakes when flying overhead than I have ever discovered wandering..."

Savanna nodded, "I have flown to and around the mountains. They are beautiful, but dangerous. Wind jumps around the mountains more than a newborn foal. They are lethal as well. If caught in just the wrong area, a Wind Soquili could find themselves slammed into rock, or come out with a broken wing. Of course, some days, mountain flying is easy, and the wind coming off the large rocks helps you gain distance and speed in such a way that it's hardly an effort at al."

"I tend to like the valleys and forests more, their thermals and winds are much more predictable and rarely ever so hazardous."
