Sadly enough, I ate McDonald's while in France, because it is impossible to eat there! (at least for me) And I don't even like McDonald's! gonk
I've taken a semester of Japanese, but that was four years ago, so I don't remember a lot, but I want to take more...

I wouldn't be able to eat much in France or Japan. Too much meat/fish. In France I could survive on bread, at least.

Baguettes, pan rustique, croissants, pastries, jam and...butter substitute. And water.
Well...I've been living on very little other than sandwiches and crackers lately...so I could manage.

Ugh. We went of a ferry from France to Ireland, and we left on a Sunday, so all that was open was a bread shop. We bought 2 baguettes and ate basically only that and the peanut butter and jam we had for over a day (the ferry was 18 hours long)...it sucked...

*ponders* Germany wasn't as bad. The restaurants were cheaper and there were a lot more big supermarkets around than in France...

Really? Well they did seem rather meat-oriented. I was only there for like three days though (as compared to over a week in France...due to our stupidity, not our wanting to be in France xd )

Yeah, I was only there for a few days as well. And we only ate out once. I think I had a sandwich or something. =/

I wasn't a vegetarian then, so I ate meat. Although, the meat I ate there helped convince me to be a vegetarian...it was gross... gonk

I like the meat there xd I don't think there many vegetarians in Germany. I've travelled there with a group several times, and we all go to the same restaurants. The restaurant prepares like 4 different meals (you call them before you get there, it makes it easier if you're a big group) and the vegetarians just get a ordinary salad. You know, some lettuce, some carrots and some cucumber. But I'm not sure. It could be that those restaurants are weird.
