((*tosses in some techs to come fetch the boys* XD I'm running out of ideas...))
Caleb pointed matter-of-factly at the doll outside of the houses. "On streets,"
he stated. That was where he'd lived when he'd had no mommy or daddy. At least until those mean people took him to that awful orphanage.
The boy looked up as the door opened and a couple of techs came in. "Okay, boys. Play time's over. Time to go eat lunch!" Caleb cheered up at the thought of food. Tail wagging, he started to head out the door. "Tell your friend bye, Caleb."
"Bye," Caleb dutifully repeated, waving back at Louis.

Louis raised his hand sadly, wriggling his tiny pudgey fingers at his new friend. Lunch did sound good, but...
He turned to look over their city again. Would it be safe while the two were away? Would the dollies and the other townsfolk live in harmony without their masters? Louis was saddened at the thought, but brightened greatly, knowing that soon he would be able to see his friend, miss Anne.
Until they met again, Louis knew he'd miss the puppy dog and his silly ways, but for now...he was content.
