Bowing to the dragon with a curt nod to the mage Lasha replied..

"It would be an honor, even though you are still a dragonling." The drow new exactly what he was going through, in her own culture children weren't considered adults undtill well into their forties, though their bodies grew normaly like a humans, they were still considered infants mentally.

"My people age just like humans do untill we get to our twenties, thats when we start to slow.." She explained so that they did not think her haughty of her own age. "Technically I am still just a young 'lady' among my kind. On a happier not though, what exactly are you in need of in exchange for your scales?"

Lasha inquired while she untied a smallish sized leather satchel from her belt.

"Correct. I am a mage of winds," she answered. As if on cue, the winds picked up speed, then died down again. "And I am only young in mortal ages."

I think I'd change that to a period there... Just 'cause the subject of that sentence is the winds, not her, and you want her to grammatically be speaking, not the winds... *shrug* I didn't even notice it the first time through, though, so it's no biggie...))

"What do you have to offer?" Imolaured knew what he wanted from them... But he was still a bit suspicious. He wanted friends, not friendly strangers trying to take advantege of him.

Imo sat back on his haunches, his transluscent wings extended in the alleyway behind him. The action forced his neck and head into a more upright position, causing him to suddenly become taller than the two women. Slightly narrowed eyes now gazed down upon the drow and human, awaiting their propositions.

((ugh, a bit shorter than most of the ones I've managed to far.))

((I feel really bad about this but I can't handle another RP. I am already having trouble keeping up with other RPs and I have already had to drop a dance class due to my busy-ness. Merlinic if you still wanted me to mentor you just using the Strange Days RP, then PM me or something but another RP I cannot handle. Sorry once again guys but I hope I will get other chances to RP with you.))

((Awww...I wanted to RP with the infamous Indy. Oh well...

Light, you misspelled 'knew' as 'new'))

Yolanda didn't know what she had to barter with, other than her skills as a mage. Material wealth meant nothing to her, so she carried little of it. A few coins were her only amounts of currency.

"You require something," she stated, staring into the eyes of the creature, "I can see that you want something from us." Yolanda broke the gaze and stepped back, her face serious.

"I have nothing to offer but my skills," she proclaimed, "But they are not worthless, I can assure you."

(( sweatdrop Thanks, I was in a rush to post that...blarg...))

Lasha looked into her satchel a moment before a sigh escaped her lips. After a moments thought the bag was returned to the leather belt and secured. But then she looked at the dragon, now towering over her and the mage, the girl was right, the dragon DID look like he needed somthing from them. But she wasn't sure what...

"I realised I have nothing to trade that would be useful to a dragon, all I have are my skills as well." She addmitted with another whisp of a sigh. Then without warning dark, slender hands reached up the the green hood and pulled it down, exposing the drow's dark skin and pitch black eyes. Pointed ears stuck out slightly from either side of her head and were placed higher up than human ears, each adorned with a thick, but small silver hoop. Raven black hair was pulled into a thick braid that dissapeared under her cloak again, but bits too short for the braid to hold framed her slightly elongated, but elegant face.

Lasha had no expression on her face, just a glitter in her eye that betrayed her excitement at meeting a dragon outside her homeworld and an anxiousness to leave this town.

Those black eyes darted towards the alley's entrance for a moment before resting on the dragon again.

((I thought it was about time to get her out of that hood blaugh ))

((Eh, typo "something" not "somthing". I'm too lazy to go out hunting anything else when there's nothing blatantly obvious...))

Imolaured studied the unmasked drow and woman carefully, trying to decide how to best phrase his seemingly child-like demands.

"I... I'm in sore need of some company these days." He paused, wrestling with how much to say. "Some of the people around here, they're nice and all, but it's just not the same..." His wings and head drooped slighlty, like a barometer of his emotions.

After a few seconds Imo risked a peek back up at the two of them in order to gauge their reactions. "So does friendship come in either of your skill packages?" he asked, slightly bashfully.

Arched eyebrows and a slightly open mouth was all that expressed Lasha's surprise. Then her face broke into a smile, though it seemed as if she wasn't practised in smiling. She too felt this dragon's lonelyness, she was an outcast where ever the drow went on the surface world. And since she could not find her way back home, she wouldn't find any acceptance where grass grew and the sun shone. With another bow with a smile still on her face, her eyes thanked the dragon silently, grateful for what he had just done.

"I would not know, for I have never had a friend in the sunlight...But I would try my best."

Then, upon straightening herself from her bow, she looked inquiringly at the mage, wondering what her answer would be. She had been rebuked, attacked, hunted, and chased out of towns by mobs. But this was different, someone actually wanted to be around her.

((Yes, Lasha is quite the loner xd . she'll be your friend 3nodding ..and my sleepy eyes can't find anything wrong so far with your post....so yeah.. blaugh ))

((Not gonna bother error hunting...I have to take a shower, so this is gonna be really, really short))

Yolanda smiled softly, despite herself. A dragon looking for friendship...how rare. Still, although she wasn't looking for companions, she longed for them.

"I would gladly accompany you, dragon," she answered, chuckling softly, "But tell me, have you no family?" The mage stared at the creature for some time, wondering about his past, which was definately not a normal one.

(('loneliness'... or something like that...))

The dragon smiled brightly for the 5.7 seconds between their offers of friendship and Yolanda's question; then his head drooped again and his hide returned to its more normal blue. He pawed the ground in front of himself uncertainly. "I... I... No!" he answered with a sudden venhemence, his eyes flaring in remembered anger. "They don't count."

Imo pushed the pile of scales in front of him foward a claw, offering them to the two women. "If you'll stay with me, take as many as you like..." he continued more calmly. "I have no real use for them." After all, shed scales to a dragon had about as much worth as old fingernail clippings did to a human.

(( xd Don't you hate it when that happens?))

Still with a soft smile, Yolanda reached out and took a few of the scales, leaving enough for the drow woman.

"If you have something to hide..." she started, letting the words hang in the air. However, Yolanda wasn't really one to talk about hiding. Throughout this entire time, she had not removed her hood. She prefered to stay masked, rather than give herself away to strangers.

"If you wish for friendship, doesn't it make sense to tell us about your past?" she said this more softly, comforting the creature. Obviously, his past was not easy to speak about.

A small shrug was all Lasha gave before bending to grab two large scales, leaving the rest. The drow slipped them into her leather bag before going up to the dragon and extending her hand like she had seen humans do in greeting. She wasn't quite sure how to do this, but the ranger had learned that the exchange of names was in order for people to meet properly.

"I am Lashantha, and I would be happy to be called your friend."

Giving a small glance to the mage, she wondered why the girl persisted to know the dragon's history. Under the same circumstances, she wouldn't have given her story either. At least not untill she had gotten to know these people better. Standing a little akwardly, it was not how she was used to greeting people.

In her society, they greeted one another with a nodd of the head, and close friends were greeted with a sort of handshake that would entail each person pressing their two fingers to the others lips and then grasping each others arm at the wrist. Lasha had learned very quickly how different the surface world was.
