Sjajan knew that Indu wouldn't care, and said so, quoting her mother as she walked out of Junketsu's room.
"Innoo dun givah dammm."
She beamed proudly and grabbed a tiny fistfull of PJ's pants, looking up at him with her large brown eyes.

"Wow, okay, your a funny little girl aren't you Jani? Anyway yeah, if you really want it you two will have to help me okay?"
Junketsu frowned at PJ, work? Ew...not likely, thats what people get paid to do. "help? ick nopey!"

Sjajan and Junketsu obviously had different values, even at this young an age. Jani loved to cook, and grow food, and work. In her eyes, it made everything taste better to earn it, so her brown eyes glowed with pleasure and she tugged on PJ's pantleg again.

"Okay, at least your willing to help, Junketsu you should learn to be more like your friend. You can help to. Here Jani can brake the eggs, Junketsu you poor the mix stuff into the bowl. I'll just sit and make sure you two do okay."
Junketsu picket up the box of cake mix and tore it open, however there was another road block, the powder stuff was in a bag. "I pull?" Junketsu pulled on the bag untill it broke open, nearly all the powder blew out of the bag and onto Junketsu, who tried cleaning her face of in annouance.
"Okay, well nice try, I'll just finish that up for you dear." PJ took what little was left of the mix and poured it into a large wooden bowl. "you doing alright ther Jani?"

Jani frowned at PJ's first words, why should Junki be more like her? Junki was fine the way she was! That was why Jani liked her! Still, the girl grinned at her job, and cracked the eggs, surprisingly, she didn't get any shell bits in with it! She was used to helping her older siblings, or Indu, cook.
"Ai ho'kay!"
She giggled when the powder flew all over Junki, and cleaned a trail on her face by wiping it with her shirt.
"Ooopses?"

"Wow, very good job, both of you. Now do you both want to mix it or what?" PJ grabbed two wooden spoons from one of the near by drawers and handed one to the both of them. "This is the fun part."
Junketsu blinked a bit after having the powder wipped off her face by Jani, she was most definatly caught by surprise. Honestly, people really should not put food in a bag. "HaHaHa! Cakey mix go boom"

Jani was also now suspicious of the cake box. What if it was really a bomb that'd failed to anhilate it's target? What if all cakeboxes were actually deathboxes? Growling a bit, Jani used her spoon to hit the box away from Junketsu and the poked the smaller girl with it.

the cake box didn't manage to fall off the counter, no just fall on its side. But Junketsu was able to remedy that, with a swipe of her hand she flung it off into PJ's leg. "mix? kway." Junketsu grabbed the spoon and shoved it into the bowl of unmixed ingediants, unable to really mix well at such an age she only really managed to splatter some of it over the walls. "hawd!"
"Ouch!" PJ rubbed his leg and threw the empty box of cake mix away before turning back to the children. "Need some help hunny?"

Sjajan scooted closer to the bowl and stuck her own spoon in. She'd forgotten that Junki was not only younger, but had been born a lot smaller than she had. Still, she wanted her friend to do it.

"Oh, okay then, well if you do need anything just holler."
Junketsu watched how Jani did it and again stuck her spoon in the bowl. This time she did do better however she was unable to stir it well, it was just to hard for her. "'Ant do it!" She tried harder and still seemed unable to make much progres, and shoved the spoon towards PJ. "hewp?"

Jan looked a tad dissapointed when Junketsu gave up. How was the tiny girl supposed to get stronger if she didn't try harder? Lightly smacking away PJ's hand, the little potato girl scooted closer to her friend, and grabbed Junki's spoon, putting it back in her hand but not letting go. Maybe they could do it together.

"oh...Kay" PJ seemed a tad bit taken aback by Jani's reaction to his trying tohelp. However it was nice that she wanted to help her friend. "Your very sweet to help her Jani. Keep trying Junkie, you'll get it in no time."
Junketsu with the help of Jani was easily able to stir the batter this time, and in no time at all the two had finished and Junkie turned to PJ. "done!"
"Okay, now we poor it into the pan and put it in the oven. The two of you have gotten a bit dirty, so you can have a bath while it bakes." PJ puored the batter into a small cake mold and put that into the oven. "Kay, bath time. Who wants to go first?"

Sjajan loved baths. Most were surprised by the fact, since she adored getting dirty, but it made sense. Getting dirty meant you had to take a bath, and bathing made it so you could get dirty again! An eager smile on her face, she nodded at PJ quickly. First? Who cared? There was plenty of water.
The potato-girl was very proud of her smaller friend, and she practically glowed with pride as she patted the girl's shoulder, praising her.
"Vare gud Junki!"

Junketsu smiled as Jani praised her, it was hard but she did do it! "ank yew!"
"Come on you two, we should bathe quickly okay, the cake should be done fairy soon and I don't want to over cook it. Last time that really was a mess, shame. I lost a rather nice oven that way, wish it haden't bust into flames as well. Oh, I'm rambeling, so sorry. Lets go." PJ scopped the two girls up and headed towards the lavatory which was only one room away, quit liky for hime as the two children were rather heavy.

Jani laughed as she was set down in the bathroom, and immediantly ran over to the tub, turning on the water herself. She knew how, Indu'd taught her early on.
"Wah-err! Bath gud!"
The baby pulled her own shirt off over her head, giggling to herself. Bath time was Fun time in the Reever house, often three kids at least climbed in at once.
