Roxy eyed him quietly for a moment. The sound of the waves rolling up onto the shore gained her curiosity for the moment.
Giving a small flutter of her wings, she circled around his head for a moment before descending down to the foamy liquid. As she got closer, she seemed to grow in side rapidly. Her body, wings and hair growing larger and longer by the second until she was almost the same size as Nahuel. Only a bit smaller as was normal for most mares to be smaller than a grown stallion.
The waves rushed up her legs quickly before they receded as fast as they could. A quick flap of her delicate wings against the salty ocean air came before she let out a small sigh.

Blinking curiously as he felt her small weight lift from his head, he watched in fascination, awe, and amazement as she grew into a full-sized mare, cerulean hues as wide as saucers as she landed beside him. He'd never even heard of soquili being able to shrink and grow at will... but then again, he'd never really been interested in learning such things, anyway.
She was even prettier than he'd realized before- he hadn't taken notice of the miniscule things like the colors of her face- was she blushing? Oh, makeup, right... and the intricate details of her wings... he grinned brightly as he addressed her again in open astonishment. "Wow, Missus Roxanne, I didn't know you could do that! You're even prettier than I thought!" It was a completely innocent statement, coming from him... he probably didn't even realize that it would have been something his father would have said to flirt with a mare.

The Flutter smiled momentarily, clearing her throat with a small cough. "Well, yes. Most Flutters can change their size. I prefer to stay small though. Unless the situation calls for me to be...larger." She gave a drawn out flick of her long, raven tail as she turned her head to look at him. Bright blue eyes blinking slowly behind long eyelashes.
She almost blushed again, but caught herself once more. The mare made it a personal promise to not go falling head over heals for every stallion that complimented her. Though it was hard sometimes. She loved the attention, but often gave off the air that it was something that didn't hold too much interest for her. "Thank you...."

He nodded his understanding, still awed by the change in her size as he smiled widely at her. Not that he minded her normal size being as small as she was, but he was glad to know that she could be big enough to play games with him when she wanted to, too.
"You're very welcome," he returned with his large lopsided grin, eyeing the hair ornament that she'd dropped before. He'd have to remember what it looked like, in case he had to help her look for it in the future. Which, by the way, seemed very important to her... he wondered what sort of significance lay behind her near panic attack to get it back before.
"Where did you get that, anyway?" he asked curiously, gesturing towards the ornament with his nose. "You seemed really upset when you lost it before..."

Roxanne watched as he nosed at her hair piece before wrinkling her nose. "From someone I knew a long time ago. But it has no real importance now. It just looks pretty is all."
The mare pursed her lips slightly in thought. It had been quite a while since she'd ever spoken a word about it's origin. But it didn't matter to her now how she got it. It almost felt like she had had the thing for the longest time that it had become a part of her. And if she lost it, she would loose a part of herself as well.

Opening his mouth to speak, Nahuel pondered for a moment before shutting it again, glancing down towards his hooves. Dense as he was, there was a point where even he knew when to leave well enough alone. Pushing too much or too far could only end badly when their friendship was just in its beginning stages.
Summoning up another bright smile as he dismissed the issue with a literal toss of his head, shifting his weight in sudden anxiousness to have some fun. Lifting one hoof out of the water, he playfully splashed a small bit of water in the mare's direction, grinning like the little kid he still was as it soaked her forelocks.

Letting out a small squeal, the mare danced sideways for a moment. Not having expected to get water splashed at her. Her bright blue eyes glared dangerously at Nahuel for a second before a smirk appeared on her lips.
"What was that for?" An eyebrow raised curiously as she lowered her head slightly. The tips of her long curls touching the water.

He grinned brightly at her smirk, dancing lightly on his feet in the shallow water. "Dontcha wanna have some fun, Missus Roxanne? When was the last time you played?"
He didn't stop to wait for her answer, instead hopping backwards and splashing her again with a laugh. "C'mon, I betcha can't catch me!"

She puffed out her cheeks and fluttered her wings as she was splashed again. Water was nice, but being splashed? It just made things unnecessarily wet!
"Can't catch you?" Her eyes lidded slightly. "I'll show you who can catch what." Leaping forward with a lash of her tail, she sent a small wave of water in his direction as she came down upon the water.

"Oooh, that sounds like a challenge!" the ebon' male laughed and dodged her leap, prancing about the cool waters with a teasing grin. Using his tail this time, he whapped another bout of water at her already soaked form.
"Come on, slowpoke!" he teased, taking another leap and kicking his heels up into the air. "If you say you can catch me, then catch me!"

"Sounds like? I'd say it is." Roxy grinned slightly, hopping to the side out of the way of his next attack. Her wings fluttered and flicked forward to protect herself from any stray splashes.
Taking another leap forward, she bounded behind him and made an attempt to catch his tail in her mouth.

"Ack! Hey!" He attempted to scowl at the yank on his tail, but it turned into a laugh as it pulled him off-balance, and he stumbled a few steps through the water. "Oooh, you're gonna pay for that one, Missy!" he called back playfully, a decidedly mischievious glint shining in his eyes.
"Ready or not, here I come!" Of course, Nahuel paid no mind to the fact that this was not hide and seek, so the words themselves didn't apply... but that was just how he was. Grinning childishly, he bounded through the water towards the flutter mare instead of away, playfully rearing before he tackled her into the knee-deep water, maneuvering so he would take the brunt of the fall beneath her- he didn't want to hurt her, after all.

Before she knew what hit her, Roxy was knocked off balance. Her wings fluttering furiously as she tried to catch herself from falling. But to no avail, gravity took charge and pulled her down into the water. A large splash erupting all around her as she nearly landed on top of Nahuel.
As the water settled for a moment, her head shot up and looked around. Her dark curls now sticking to her forehead and neck as they had soaked up so much water. "Hey! Thats not fair!" The Flutter's tail slapped against the surface of the water as she peered over at him, stretching her neck out and giving his ear a rough n**. "Tackling an unsuspecting mare like that."

He only offered a bright, falsely innocent grin at her indignation, leaning his head away from the splash and laughing outright at her playful n**. The offended ear twitched away from her jaws, and he chuckled lowly as he reached to brush a sopping wet forelock away from her eyes.
"Aww, c'mon, it was fun, wasn't it? Even if you are wet, it was worth it, right?" His smile was bright and playful- and maybe even a little charming, if Nahuel even knew what that meant.

Her cheeks puffed out as they always did. It was a subconscious action really. Sometimes she couldn't even catch herself doing it before she had done it.
The Flutter's wings twitched for a second in thought. Sending little droplets of water everywhere. "I suppose. As long as I'm not the only one who got wet in the process." Roxy pursed her lips together as she went to give his ear another quick n**. A smirk then parted her lips for a second as she stayed laying on him. A little payback for the tackle. She herself wouldn't do such a thing, but if she held him down close to the waves maybe a bit of water torture could repay the deed.
