"But why keep me like I am? Is something special about me?" He stared at him, with questioning eyes, though no force intended.

Mindblaze smirked as the tendril retreated with three last words, You chose correcty. He actually said nothing, not that it would do all that much good anyhow.

~Fight club, parts almost unknown~

Nik had left a note as to his whereabouts, though not mentioning what he had been doing. He was situated in the ring, as it were, which was just a mat on floor with a circle in it. He panted a bit as he fought, though seemed to be doing fairly well. He wore blue jeans and nothing else, save for elbow pads, which were made for fighting. He kicked twice, and the man in front of him fell down. It took a moment, but his opponent got back up, and drove a punch straight for Nik's gut. He took the punch, and counteracted with a knee to the man's face. He backed off for a moment to clear the cloudiness in his head.

Alex had slipped inside the club a short time ago. An obvious unshaven look very apparent on his face, probably one the few reasons the bouncer hadn't given him a second look. He did look a bit rough, messy yet kinda sexy hair, rumpled shirt. The sleeves barely covering the precise ink wrapping around his upper arm.
He was standing off to one side, his vibrant green eyes no more than slits as he observed the fight before him with interest.

There was no more than two more strikes in the match, comprised of one fist to the stomach of Nik's opponent, and the man hitting the mat, effectively taken out of the game. He watched the man laying there, before he bowed and movedd off the mat, stretching a bit. People threw money at him for his win.

Alex started from where he stood. Had he just seen correctly, the boy had landed the man out cold. Chucking to himself he dismissed the thoughts and resumed watching.

Nik shifted, rolling his shoulders as he picked up his money and stuck it in his pockets, a serene smile on his facce. He didn't even notice Alex.

Stepping into the crowd, Alex dropped from sight. Fading into the gathering for 5 to 10 min., till he reappeared on the adjacent side of the room. The flat of his hand making a startling impact with a counter, enough to grab the bartender's attention. After a series of exchanges and the appearance of a few bills the gentleman nodded and went about filling Alex's order.

One that left a double shot sized glass to his immediate right, and the other in the hands of the barkeep as the young man tried to pick Nik out from the crowd.

Nik glanced around absentmindedly. Making his way towards the clearing of the exit. It was obvious he had left, and Alex would have known. As he walked down the street, he stopped near a homeless woman and her child, kneeling to talk to them for a moment.

Alex shook his head and quietly mouthed a phrase or two upon seeing Nik leave. Draining his glass, he took the second one from a very dumbed bar back and let the warm liquor run down his throat with a shiver. He'd have no trouble keeping warm tonight. Slamming the fragile glass into the counter it wouldn't' even chip, but the barkeep wouldn't have a chance to notice as Alex was already trailing after Nik.

As Alex left the bar, he could probably see Nik talking to the moneless woman. What was more interesting was that he handed a large wad of money to her, accounting for most if not all of his winning that night. He smiled as the woman practically cried for joy, patting her on the shoulder.

Alex didn't noticed the shuffling of bills between the two right away, or who they were to begin but once he had covered a few feet names were put to faces. Staying a bit off, he watched impressed at the gift given at the expense of any pain Nik had experienced.

He gave a gracious smile, patting her shoulder again, and perking the little boy's chin as he rose. He then saw Alex, smiling a bit before speaking. "How long you been watching?"

Alex nodded to the pair on the ground and chuckled a bit before answering. "Since you made a mess of guy twice your size."

Vince sat on the rooftop of a business building, staring blankly at the sunset placed before him. he'd been there a while now. Just him, alone, and rather cold, come to think of it. He wore only jeans and a black tank-top, which was rather loose at the moment. Between his lips was a cigarette, which hda been there since he had lit it and placed it there, go figure. He seemed off in his own world... alone.
