Typic. I love Jack's omni-sexuality. heart As for the episode BLOODY AMAZING! As soon as that guy said he was The Master I actually squealed. xd I can't wait for next week! Have to agree with you there!

I just watched the whole episode on You Tube. OMG The Master is back. But there is one problem how they did it. The Master got Killed or fell into the Eye of Harmomy in The Movie. With the 8th Doctor. (Which we all know counts) So how did he get a New Regeration Cycle and get a Body?. But All and all I like this Episode. IF you pay attention in the"The Lazarus Experiment" You'll see that the guy that plays The Master is Wispering in Maraths Mums Ear Telling her about the Doctor. So The Master Set all these Events to start. But if the Doctor never went the the end of the univers then he would have never bin there so that makes it a time Paradox. stressed xp Some times I hate Time Travel. It gets so Confusing some times. But Yay The Master is Back smile

I thought it was tre good! First episode of series three to be BETTER than my expectations (as I already thought HN and FOB and Blink were going to be amazing)
RTD's writing was the best of this series by far in this episode.
Unfortunately the master being that old man was no suprise to me, because I can't resist spoilers at times...but the watch-thing used again was cool...
Hopefully next week's episode can live up to this one!

Wierdo-Cabbage Please tell me I'm not the only one who found the little girl cute! She was all cute and fluffy! Which little girl? If you mean Cheet, he's a little boy! He's played by 9 year old John Bull who won a Blue Peter competition. Anyway, here's my reaction! WOW!!!! I'd managed to avoid being really spoilered (I mean, I'd heard rumours but never believed them) and I actually gasped when it was revealed who Yana really was! Loved the bit with Jack clinging to the TARDIS, and the Doctor's reaction when Martha asked if he knew Jack. Glad to see John gets a credit in the title sequence now as well. He never got that in Chris Eccleston's ones. Chantho I'm afraid I found a bit annoying when she had to start and end each sentence with Chan and Tho. Cool makeup though. The reunion scene when the Doctor told Jack where Rose was was quite sweet, remembering in Bad Wolf when Jack thought he'd seen Rose die. Clever RTD though, making it a three-parter! I want to know how they get back to the present day, especially if the Master has nicked the TARDIS!!!! Favourite quotes (there's more than one this week): Martha: So what's out there?
Doctor: I don't know.
Martha: Say that again. That's really rare.
Doctor: Not even the Time Lords came this far. We should go. We should really, really go.
Doctor: That's like saying "I've got a sports car, you've got a space hopper!"
Doctor: Honestly! You two! We're at the end of the universe and you two are... blogging!
Martha: So that's what happens? You go off and forget about us?
Jack: Not if you're blonde.
Martha: Oh, she was blonde!! That explains it!
Jack: We should be frozen to death.
Doctor: Well, Martha and I, maybe. Not so sure about you, Jack.
Jack: Oh, you don't tell him to put his gun down!
Doctor: He's not my responsibility.
Jack: I am? That makes a change.
Professor Yana: Utopia, where it is to be hoped the coffee is less sour. Will you join me?
Chantho: Chan I am happy drinking my own internal milk tho.
Professor Yana: Rather too much information there.
Jack: Was someone kissing me?!
Professor Yana/Master: Now I can say I was provoked.

I entered that Blue Peter competition (I now feel dirty), but i sent in a broken DVD...
But the episode was still good. Brilliant, in fact.
AM i the only one who noticed Jack's nine-isms? He said "fantastic" a couple of times.

I thought It was funny.I fined it odd that Jack knew about Regerations. well he probly read about Time lords in the Time agent logs or some thing.

I hope Jack gets killed off permenantly, soon. What was cool in the first season just...isn't anymore. Now he's just angsty and dull. And remarkably immature for someone who lived through two world wars.
Chantho's welcome back anytime, however. She was class xD If season two's done anything right it's cast fupping brilliant female supporting characters throughout :3 Pity they can't cast brilliant female companions, really rolleyes

I wouldn't like to see Jack die, hes one of my favorite companions. I think he'll go back to torchwood when season 2 starts anyway. ... not to be contrary, but i see how Jack could be described as dull in utopia.

Okay was I the only one to notice Martha saying "I recognise that voice" after the master regenerated? I have strong suspicions of the master being Mr Saxon.
What an episode! Having been a fan for over twenty years, I was waiting to see how they brought the Master back. I still want to know how he escaped from the Eye of Harmony (see the 1996 film).
Still I spent the second half of that episode with my just waiting for the master to come through. I was not dissapointed.
Just like the master to hide at the end of time though eh? I loved utopia, the script may have been a bit weak in places, but the construction of the plot was
"Fantastic". With the future born as the background instead of the main antagonists.
There you go.

I'm torn. I loved the episode but I still haven't decided how I feel about the Master returning.
I was really hoping they wouldn't choose the obvious to explain the whole 'you are not alone' thing. I suppose my ultimate opinion of this episode and the story arc in general will depend on how they handle the Master's character. If he just becomes a re-hash of that puke-tastic movie version Master, I may never forgive them.
The Master as Mr. Saxon. Yep. Saw that one coming since the Lazarus Experiment, though I was hoping I was wrong. Again, just too fopping obvious.
As to Jack, though I love him and the dialogue between him and the Doctor was well done, the character himself just didn't quite work for me in this ep. The whole clinging to the exterior of the Tardis while it hurdles through the Time Vortex thing....ack. I mean seriously. Ack.
I really did enjoy the episode. I swear. xd In fact, my favorite moment was actually with the Professor, just before he opened the watch, when it was talking to him. If you listen, you can hear Anthony Ainley's trademark evil laugh. blaugh That gave me a fan-girly moment.

Chantho is so cool in this episode. The way she speaks and the way she looks. I am not happy she dead (is she?) I think the moment she interact with Martha is so lovely heart . She seems have so much characters inside her.
I think this Utopia's episodes is 3 as one. So I can't judge it as a whole (yet) else might ended up as disappointing like Human Nature... I doubt it can be worse than Family of Blood smile Since it's gonna end. It's gonna be good hopefully biggrin
