In a scene in FM+ For KH2 (where Axel and Roxas are eating icecream on top of the Twilight Town Clock tower) Axel calls Roxas "koi" or love. It's rather hard to hear if you aren't listening for it or if you aren't used to listening to Japanese. There's an inflection in Axel's voice so it should pop out to those trying to hear it.
Also in terms of RikuSora- in the Japanese version near the end the whole "the door to light" convo on the island before Kairi runs up with a note from the king- the dialog is totally changed. The Japanese hints really heavily at a pairing where as the English is more mild.

Rose Demon Axel Oh, how I wish it were true! Especially the Cloud and Leon one. I LeonCloud! Ditto heart Many of my friends argue that Roxas loves Namine. Moi: "When the hell did Roxy EVER say he loved Namine?!". stare Them: "Well it's obvious" stare Me: "Says who?! AkuRoku is WAY more obvious, so THERE!!!" heart Them: "They aren't gay!" scream Me: "Since when did you have a gay-dar??? I am a fangirl, thus my gay-dar is far more tuned than yours" cool

Probably along the the likes of 'suki desu' or some such when Axel was telling Sora about Roxas as he Faded...
I know Axel calls Roxas 'aibou' which is 'partner'. And anyone who's read yugioh fic knows that usage. Also, on the FF front, Reno calls Rude that, and that pairing is practically cannon. (Axel and Reno share the same physical characteristcs, key personality traits, and voice actors in both Japanese and English!)

Xeni-Princess of Shadows the fact that it's unconfirmed rumors is kind of upsetting. but if they are true, i think it's adorable. yeah, if they were CONFIRMED, AWESOOOOOOOOOME!!!!!!!! ok, Riku telling Sora is TOTALLY true, i havent seen this Japanese scene, but if you look back on either versions and the first game, there is gay scenes ALL AROUND, that i totally belive, same as to Axel and Roxas, seeing as Axel said to Kairi that they both miss someone or something like that, but cloud and leon? THAT was surprising.

imaprettyrainbow I don't think it was meant in a "gay" way, but it's pretty obvious that they shove on a bunch of shounen ai hints for yaoi fangirls 8D you gotta make profit from raving fangirls somehow, right? hey, what about fanboys? cmon, dont leave us out!!!

the soriku confession.... it's the part where Sora finally find Riku, I guess. Or in the final cutscene... if axel said that i'd be real flattered but he has got his little roxas. (yuppers i'm short and blonde too, quite messy hair but he still got his smexy roxas. And it's more fun watchin than being the actual smex target stare )

Well, the thing is... in Japanese, there's many ways to say "I love you," and I don't always mean that. "Aishiteru" is most popular in in North America for the Japanese way to say "I love you" (and there's no denying that meaning). However it is more likely for someone to say "suki" (possibly followed by the regular "desu" or something else~), which is left up to interpretation. "Suki" is often used to say "I love you," however it's also often used as a preference term to say that you like something. (And "daisuke" is "really like", whereas "suki janai" is "don't like".)
So, even if "suki" was said, there's no saying for sure "I love you," is what he meant.

So, even if "suki" was said, there's no saying for sure "I love you," is what he meant. Unless you actually speak/read japanese properly...and can translate it.. But even then you still wouldn't know for sure unless you like..Emailed Square Enix and asked.
