Devilot Disgorge Heat activates THC. That is correct, but, microwaves deteriorate and break down THC. I can't find the source for the info right now because the sight got hacked and everything deleted. But when it's back up I'll post the info. See that only makes sense. Because you have to light weed up to get high (except if you bake it in to cookies/brownies/food of choice). Microwaves emit heat, but it's not the same heat as an oven or a lighter would produce, it's some fake kind of heat. Microwaves would break down and evaporate THC, leaving your place of residence smelling like you smoked up - then when you actually go to do so unless you're a lightweight or the strain was.. well, best of the best - the THC levels would be dropped considerably. Well its not as much as its evaporating THC as it is making it less potent. Microwaves don't heat in the sense a lighter heats or a stove.

Shadowlost Wow seriously interesting. I'm not sure I want to mess with my more expensive weed tonight, but I may give this a go anyways.. I hope it doesn't catch on fire. eek Oh yeah, I would also love to hear anyones scientific reasoning on why this should work, in theory anyways. Water and heat expand the THC crystals a bit, thus causing more surface area to be burned before inhalation? Thats a possibility. When I read the first post I thought it would dry it out so more bud would burn more on one hit as opposed to one thats sticky and a little more moist. I read somewhere that THC is water-soluble, so buy doing something like that would distribute the THC equally throught the bud. And then microwaving it would evaporate the water.

If you put a peice of freeze-dried icecream in the microwave, it wouldn't do as much as frozen icecream (yes it would heat up because then the icecream's molecules are getting nailed, but it would generate a fraction of the heat water would). If you take a ball of cookie dough, and put it in the microwave for 1 minute, take it out and cut it in half, the outter part of the cookie dough will be hot, but the inside will be cold.

This is actually a funny story, me and my bf were just bored and I was like hey! i HAD a dream that you can make pop corn outta weed seeds! xd And like my bf was like, "it's worth...a shot." So we took a mug and poured a few seeds in it, placed it in the microwave and what happen was:
THE SEEDS WERE LIKE YELLOW-ORANGE!!! It didn't pop but on seed popped and it was sooo hot that it melted into the mug and now there is a seed imprint on the mug! rofl And as soon as we put it under water WHOOSH! Steam blew right in our faces! And that was like one of those moments where you should've had a video camera on you! lol

I don't know whether or not it sounds like it works, but everything is worth at least one try, I mean if it doesn't really work you'll still get high so why not right?
EDIT:
I just had a thought.
What if you were to freeze/chill it?
You could put it in a bowl with a little grill or net of sorts, put the marijuana in the net and below it put that chemical/stuff that absorbs moisture, cover the bowl and put it in the freezer. IF anything it might get drier, but will be cold.

Maybe someone should try steaming it. My bro told me to leave a open bag off weed out in the bathrom while taking a shower, once you get out the steam from the shower moistens the weed and then after you do that you let it dry then smoke it.

Sometimes, I nuke my spleef that I prune and pluck for about 20-25 seconds in layers of paper towels, or on a dish, turning at 10 secs.
They'll continue to 'dry' if the stems or stuff is a bit damp, after that.
Those leaves would be compost or lousy ice hash makings,
but - when one does nuke one's green leaves out of desperation -
one'll be very surprised at what that nasty 'burnt-green-leaf-stuff' does to ya.
It's a whammy-high.
