(( Gaia... stare ))
LF yawned and stood up, seeing Kam and Neko. "Hiya guys! What's up?" she asked, suddenly feeling very immature. She blushed and tried to think of something better to say...
"I'll cook or serve drinks. Whichever you need more." Neruo said, playing with his hair.

Jhiri beamed at Neruo. "Well how would you like to be a bartender? I think you'd do a wonderful job at it. It's a great way to get to meet and know others, as I discovered when I worked at *Washu*'s Subspace Saloon. Made a lot of good friends there, and they're still my good friends, patrons and employees both."

Sunil stood around a little, but then seemed to get antsy and headed for the door.
"I'll be back, just gotta go take care of some things at home."

Jhiri nodded to Sunil. "I have some things to handle myself up in the tower." Ah yes, the tower which casts it's shadow over the tavern for part of the day. Jhiri gathers up the vase and it's bloom and she heads out, leaving the tavern under the watchful eye of the Sphinx, her Mythos.
((The Sphinx will just be around to keep an eye on things, she tends to stay in the back.))

Sajhiri strolled into the tavern, humming merrily, with the vase holding her Feien bloom in hand. She slid behind the bar and set the bloom on the bartop, before tying on an apron and pouring herself a mug of coffee. She then moved to light the hearth fires, both the Human and Feien sized ones.
"Well my little bloom, let's see if we bring in any visitors tonight, shall we?"

Ianios flew into the tavern, bored as always. He had just spent some time outside, but once he was called inside, he quickly grew bored again. He stopped once inside the door, looking around. Many things to see in here, he noted. Smirking, he flew to the countertop. "Hello there!"

Sajhiri smiled in greeting to Ianios. "Welcome to the Tall Tales. What can I get for you, young sir?" She drew one of the Feien-sized cups from under the counter in preparation.

((Sorry, Gaia is being a b***h. Was one last night, tonight as well.))
Ianios smiled and sat down on the counter. "Hmmm.." he thought, looking over the menu. He knew better than to try the wines and such, but what was sake? Sounded exotic. "Sake please."

((Sorry for my slowness too. Headaches set in yesterday and I had to lie down)).
Sajhiri smiled at Ianios and nodded her head. "Sake it is. Would you prefer hot or cold? They say true sake conniseurs drink it cold, but most people prefer it hot. I think the cold drinkers are more than likely trying to show off personally." She draws a bottle of sake from behind the counter, and an eyedropper for distributing it. She glances over towards her bloom to check up on it as she awaits the Feien's answer.

Ianios looked at the barkeep. "Why's that?" he asked, curiousity drawing him in. "What's the difference?" Was it better hot? He still didn't know what it was, anyway.
((That's not a problem!))

Jhiri grinned. "Well apparently it doesn't taste very good cold, but is stronger. When it's heated up some of the alcohol burns off." She gestured to the bottle, "So which way would you like to try it?"

Ianios grinned. Well..it couldn't be enough to get him drunk. "Hot sounds fine," he told the barkeep. "I'm Ianios, and you are?" He looked around and saw the bloom. "Ah! Another Feien! Most cool!"

Sajhiri began the process of heating up the sake as she answered the Feien. "I'm Sajhiri Jihaar, and this is my tavern. That lovely sable and purpure bloom there was recently given to me to tend to. Oh, in non-heraldy-speak that would be black and purple." She delivered the hot sake into the Feien sized cup before Ianios. "So how long have you been out of your bloom, Ianios?"

Ianios took the cup and sipped it. Not bad. Not bad at all. He smirked when he heard her question. "Over a month now. My sister Aria has been out of hers..." He thought a moment. "I think three months. I'm not too sure." He knocked back the rest of the cup, feeling all warm. "Mighty good stuff here. What's Sake?"

Sajhiri refilled the cup for Ianios. "Sake is created from rice, water, koji-jin and yeast. It's got about the same alcohol content as wine and it's served like wine, but it's actually brewed like beer. It's a Japanese beverage."
She nodded to his mention of how long he and his sister had been free. "Do you remember how long you were in your caretaker's possession as a bloom? I'm trying to make preparations for this Feien's arrival and I'm not sure how rushed I should be..." She grinned.
