"How nice of you to welcome me", Anna said with a smug grin on her face. "You know, you look so smug standing there right now. Thinking you have me right now. Thinking you've won. Well you have no idea thief. I'm on a mission, and nothing can stop me." She looked like a demon pinned up against the tree. Unpure and poisoning. Slowly very slowly, while she was talking, she worked on freeing her clothes. Then, when she thought Artanis was entranced in her creepiness. She swung.

'No!' Anna thought to herself as someone blocked her attack. The look in her opponents eyes was hatred....and something else. She tried to throw another punch but once again it was blocked. 'This is enough!' Anna thought. 'My blows won't work! There is some power-WHAT IS THAT?' she tried another blow yet it wouldn't land. 'Alright that's enough!' Mustering up her strength Anna prepared to drain her opponents energy. Concentrating, focusing, willing her being and beliefs into place, controlling the power inside of her she unleashed it. She reached out to the girl with her right hand and connected. 'Yes! I have her - UUUGGGHHHH! Anna tried to break away but she couldn't. Something was hurting...KILLING her. 'What is this?!' she thought. 'This FEELING?-WHA-?' It was then she saw the visions. 'A wolf... power, A kiss... love, A death... sorrow, A man...reven- What? THE sheriff! Then, death again... relief, guilt, remorse. A girl...Not this girl....Arta..."ARTANIS!" Anna finally disconnected from Terina with an arm burnt from...something. Terina was shaken but held her ground. "You!" Anna shouted, pointing at Artanis. "It was you who killed him! You're not a THIEF!" Anna spat. "You are a murderer....UUUGGHHH! All control Anna had had over her power was gone with the emotion of those words. "ThE PaIn Is ToO mUcH! PlEaSe StOp! StUpId ElF!" Anna felt...she FELT. She couldn't control her powers if she couldn't control her....feelings. "AAAAAAHHHHH!" Anna screamed, starting to cry. "I won't -sob- let -sob- you get away with -sob- this!" Holding her right hand to her chest she ran off into the woods crying angrily...crazily.

Anna finally stopped running when she could bear the pain no longer. 'What's going on?! That girl! How come she could...what is she...' "WHY AM I SCARED?" Anna screamed. "The...feelings." 'We must have a connection. Well no s**t. That other girl killed the sheriff. Oh! The sheriff is DEAD! How could I not know? Damn missions! I could've protected him. I could have....the death. That first death. It was.' Anna realized with horror that the first death that she saw wasn't just anybody but the Terina's fiancee'. 'That's why I couldn't stop her. She was fighting with revenge! No...love!' Tears rolling down her face Anna leaned up against a tree exhaustion from thought taking over. 'He must've been a thief! The sheriff wouldn't kill for nothing! Would he?' Anna thought back to all her time being with the sheriff before she left on her mission. 'No.' she decided, 'he wouldn't kill somebody without a damn good reason.' She slid down the tree, sat on the ground and closed her eyes. "hmm, stupid elf. stop me from justice? Why?" She started to cry. "I don't UNDERSTAND! I try to do good yet I fail. THEY always win!" 'why? why does....' It hit her. 'No! With the sheriff and the deputy gone....that means....ME!' She then put her head in her hands and cried for what she had done and what she must now do.

Faust leaned against the building of his new contractor, which happen to be a sheriff, he was told that his men are having trouble with a few thieves in the area and it was to the point the sheriff had no other choices but to hire him, usually he didn't do small jobs like this one, but the money the sheriff offered was too good to turn down. He sighed as he stood up and thought to himself he might as well begin and get this over with.

He got to the edge of the town where the forest began, believing inside the woods would be the best place to begin...

After a while of walking, and a few stops to eat, plucking the berries off the bushes, he finally believe he found something...footprints. He followed for quite a while, wondering who's they were, one of his new allies...or the thieves, he didn't know much about his allies, but he did know a lot about thieves, and the fact they would never leave footprints behind...

Soon he found the creator of the footprints. To avoid detection, he swiftly moved for over behind a tree, sticking his head out just to he can make the person out, he was surprised by what he saw, it was a woman...crying...

His eyes widened, he thought he was being careful, but he should have thought about her skills in detection, She must be good... he thought to himself. He stepped out from behind the tree and began to slowly walk toward the woman, his crimson eyes focused on her.

He suddenly stopped before the woman and reached into his pocket. From there he threw out a piece of paper, and on it...the Sheriff's signature. She surely knew what this meant, that they were on the same side, that he did not wish to fight this woman, who looked hungry for combat. They had the same goal, the same mission, and he planned on doing just that, and nothing else.
