Arching his brow, Rellick watched Jager gallop off. He said nothing to distract the male, merely shook his head and turned back to the other females waiting for his greeting. Nox and Airithn still stood beyond his borders, waiting to join this Pride.
Roaring a greeting he picked up his pace, moving toward the lionesses. Jadera would be fine in Jager's paws, and that left him to the hard stuff... "Too many bold lionesses gathering..."
Jadera slid to a stop and sat back on her haunches, wrapping her forepaws about her mate and burying her face in his mane and purring loudly. It had been too long since they had been together, but to be back in Rellick's Pride and Jager's embrace couldn't have come soon enough. "Jager... I missed you so much..."
Rellick jumped at the most recent assault on his senses. A lioness at the border... She sent him a sound and an image of the borderland, calling his attention to her... Well.. Another to greet...

Jager smiled lightly licking her forehead. "I missed you as well, sweet Jadera." He hugged her a little tighter before letting her go. He settled his forepaws back on the ground, leaning his head against hers. Their noses touched causing him to purr loudly. "How is everything at your sisters?" He murmured gently staring drunkenly into her eyes.

She smiled and nuzzled him, sighing. Everything was alright now.. They were back together, and neither had found love away from the other... No.. They wouldn't... This was the real thing, this love of their's..
"Oh she's wonderful Jager! I could hardly believe it! She's all grown up and so beautiful.... I'm so proud... We went out hunting and wandered together.. It was wonderful.. I'm sorry I was gone so long..."

Her ears flickered, she knew she wasnt the only one waiting on the Kings approval. She settled herself down on her haunches, with a tilt of her head, she watched her son pounce after a grasshopper, she smirked as she gazed up at the sky now, she wondered where her daughter was, how she was doing. If Mekare was even taking care of her, she swallowed a growl, she was still a bit angry by what had happened. But, it was her own foolish fault for believing the boys here were anything like the ones back home, apparently things were very different here than there. Something she was learning the hard way it seemed. She blinked several times, her eyes glistening, she wouldnt shed another tear for him, but..she couldnt stop the few that rolled down her cheeks.
As he stretched himself out over his mothers paw, he looked up at her with a lopsided grin. "I coulda but it was more fun chewin on Sitian's tail feathers.." He nuzzled the soft paw he rested on, making sure to avoid the small tips of her claws that stuck out.

Naharia smiled and ran her rough tongue down his back in a comforting swipe, purring. "True enough.. Come then, let's return to the den so you can all sleep..."
She tossed a smile at Jayvyn then picked up her son in her mouth, carrying him gently back toward the den. Her daughters waved and called sweet goodbyes then followed, eager for a nap. Within the cool of the Den Naharia leapt up toward her perch, setting down her son and returning for her daughters. By the time they were all assembled, she felt like taking a nap herself, and curled around her children.
"Sleep now..."
Rellick turned to Nox first, as she was the closest. A short run up over the hill and down the other side brought him close to her, and he slowed at the sight of a cub at her paws. Her child, he knew instantly.. Hadn't Nox gone off and found love? Hadn't she been happy? She didn't look it now... Crystal tears ran down the Rune Guardian's face.
"Nox." He rumbled in his sweet, soft voice... Stepping towards her slowly. "Oh Dear friend, it has been too long..."

Ears perking up, she lifted her head and caught sight of her dear friend. Rising to her paws she smiled. "Rellick.." She smiled moving towards him, though like a good mother she looked back at her son. "Aye, tis been a long while 'asn't it?" she had never let her natural tongue be used while with Mekare, but with Rellick, it just flowed.
" 've come to ye, wit M'son. Caedmon.." She turned her head, her eyes resting on his small form, as he padded towards her at the mention of his name. She looked back at Rellick, " Tings have 'appened and I 'un 'ave anywhere else ta go." She sighed unhappily.
Nuzzling his mothers leg, he peeked up at the large male his mother was speaking with, an arched brow he looked to his mother. Something had happened, his dad had done something bad and now..they were here. " 'Ello.." He said, he now sat between his mothers front paws.
As he was put down first, he danced along the edge of his mothers perch, as his sisters were put down as well, he gave them a good tackle, and gnaw before scampering off to his mothers side, nuzzling her belly he curled up against her hind leg, his paws restin on his belly as he laid on his back.

Naharia sighed and rolled her eyes, shepherding the trio into position so she could keep an eye on them all. In moments they were asleep, too tired to poke at each other, so she sighed and napped also, needing it... A single mother needed all the naps she could get.
Below, standing at the center of the den, Kalliska stood. She watched her half sister and cubs, wanting a family of her own one day. She adored cubs... But not now.. Now she was the best huntress she could be... With a smile she left the den in search of meat, for Naharia would be hungry when she woke...
Rellick stepped forward and nuzzled the tears from her cheeks, purring softly. Her natural speach amused him -he found it endearing and always enjoyed hearing it- and her story troubled him. She was one of his friends, her heartbreak was nearly unbearable. "You are ever welcome in the Shadows... You know that.. And your son."
He glanced at Caedmon, smiling and speaking gently. "Brave young man, did you help your mother get all the way here?"

Airithn laid on her stomach, and rested her head on her crosses paws, a yawn escaping her. Her trip had be a long one, and she really hadn't rested. She knew Rellick would be along. Why waste this time sittin there...

Jager grinned. "Well, you had a time there, love. Don't worry about not coming home as soon as you planned, it's not a big deal. I'm glad everything at your sister's was wonderful." He nudged her head gently. "Well, you go on back to the den and rest. I'll join you shortly. I'm to accompany your brother at greeting the others at the boarder." He stood back on all fours again, flicking his tail gently.
Kione walked slowly toward the red and white lioness. She ducked her head down, ears pinned back out of submission. Getting a few feet away from her, she settled on her belly looking straight ahead into the boarder of the pride. She wondered if it took this long to answer boarder calls.

Jadera smiled and groomed her mate's cheek, pausing to enjoy the scent of his thick mane once more. She buried her face in the silken rush for a moment, sighed, and stood... Tearing herself away from him was like pulling her heart in two.
"I'll see you back at the den." She sighed wistfully. "Take care of Rellick... And yourself..."

"Yes, Princess..." He gave her a bow, licked her cheek, then trotted toward the boarder where he met up with Rellick. He seemed to be speaking to a female with a cub. Flicking his tail, he began to wonder if he remembered her or not when he heard the accent. He just simply waited with his King.
Kione looked over at the new female. She tried to smile a little, still deathly afraid. Clearing her throat a little, she tried to speak using her voice. To no avail, she resorted to her mind. Hello, Airithn. My name is Kione. Pleasure to meet."

If only Jax had come over, Areli probably would've lifted up a bit... but no.. he hadnt. So, she just layed there... eyes closed loosely, body limp and tired,... really only from the slight lack of sleep.
After a moment, she rolled onto her side with a short yawn, her golden eyes staring off at the horizon. The roars from new,.. lionesses, shook her a bit, though she made no other movment, or motioned that she cared. Why am I acting like this..? Areli blinked, rolling onto her belly again, streaching her legs forward, and back, sprawling out. I've got to be sick or.... something...
She let out a slight pfft-like noise, as she tried to blow her bangs away from her eyes,... though, not doing too well. They were quite long, afterall.
Llail sat himself just outside the den, practicly ignoring those going in and out, even the new comers didn't interest him. He was watching his mother... he was probably closest to her, and his ebony-coated father, more than the crimson.
The state that Areli was in bugged him a bit... since he wasn't sure why she was all.. moping around... even if she didn't know either.

I am copying and pasting this message to all the threads I frequent and all the RPs I am currently partaking in. I am flying down to Australia tomorrow [Saturday, 23rd] for one week to participate in a competition with our school's orchestra. I won't have any internet access while I'm there. I will be back on the 30th of June.

Jadera watched her mate pace away with a faint smile. He would return to the Den, eventually, and she'd be there waiting... With a final sigh she turned and trotted to the Den, wondering how the family was doing.
