yokomotoz Nothing is impossible in my belief. The human mind is complex enough to be able to do amazing things in certain adverse situations, we tap perhaps 10 to about 12 percent of our brain. We can attain a higher plane of existence and do whatever we want. Or so I believe. The impossible doesn't exist in my mind and anything is achievable.
Psychics, etc are probably just people who have managed to use a bit more of their brain than the average human.
Or at least that's what I believe.

for the time being things seem impossible , but as technolgy grow thing things that were impossilbe are possible
example : if i told you a few years back that a new way to travel in to space would be to go via elevator , th only thing supporting it would be a ribbon held up by a laser, only till now are we begining to use this idea, on another note anyone who devlope a ribbon this long a can support a elevator will get a reward of cash up to the billions

Or at least that's what I believe.First off i believe that tap into a lager percentage of our brain than ~10-15% that most people believe. it's just that it is not all used for conscious thought. consider how one knows since they are born how all their internal organs know how to do their jobs (especially the nervous system + brain). 2nd i believe that now there are many things that are impossible how ever after maybe another 20,000 years of human/ technological evolution humanity may be able to be come god like and therefor everything will be posibel

true, technology is getting pretty advanced and all, but I still think that humans will never be able to do some things. I even think that it is impossible for humans to even have a clue about what any dementions higher that the third one is, it may just be because we live in a three dimensional world, thus any higher dimention is impossible the percieve.
I think that it could become possible for humans to tap into other dimentions.
It's difficult to type what I mean, but I'll give it a shot:
The idea is that , because we are thinking about these other dimentions .. this gives us motivation as to wheather or not we can actually tap into them. I'm sure that many many many years ago we wouldn't have thought of these other dimentions. So is thinkning about it now,or the idea of it, a step closer to discovering them?
Sorry if I'm making this a tad bit confusing. sweatdrop I was never good at explaining myself. If anyone would like to comment about this, feel free.

Um...soo not what I was expecting when I saw this thread... lol. I got a couple of points, and a couple of philosophies of my own, so please bear with me.
1:All things are scientificly possible, it is just the chances of it being possible that matter. For instance, it is possible I am Superman. Not bloody likely, but possible.
2: I am a Metalist. My idea(yes, I'm not trying not to contradict myself XP) is to do things to the most extreme possible, or in other words, the most metal way possible. That means Harder, Louder, Stronger, and Faster. if its worth doing its worth effing SMASHING IT IN EFFING FACE! Saying something is impossible is telling me that something can't be done, telling me "no, You can't do it." So I Take that as a challenge, just to piss you off when I prove you wrong. Being metal is telling the world EFF YOU!
3: I am also an Ackbarist(yes, I made this one up lol). Everything Is a trap! EVERYTHING! Gaia, this thread, My pants, ALL TRAPS! Ackbarism teaches one to be careful, to expect the unknown. And that the Deathstar is active.... IT'S A TRAP!!!! eek

Everybody knows it's all in the amount of deuterium in your dilithium matrix. 3nodding i mean in one message i can explain how to travel faster than the speed of light its all in a certian tv show some of us watch everyday......STAR TREK! hellz ya! 3nodding so it all starts with anti-matter and matter, and a channel substance (in star trek its dilithyum crystals) so with the antimatter and the matter are infused with the dilithyum crystal the create "warp" plasma which is propelled through the nacelles and boost's the ship up to warp 10 . now that is the le-mans terms of putting it now transwarp is something bigger to explain. at this acelration you will need to project a structural integrity field IN FORNT of the aship and such travel would nee a conduit hooked up to a hub and so on and so forth. i cannot explain it more for if i do i wil take up at least two pages.

Since we only use about 10% of our brain just imagine what we would be capable of if we were able to use 50% or even 100%. Now is such a feet possible or impossible, who knows. Truth is, given the right conditions, the right equipment, timing, EVERYTHING is exact, there isn't anything that can't be done. people might say you can't fly, tell that to any airline company and watch them laugh at you.

to prove all of you wrong MANY THINGS ARE IMPOSIBE... However you have to be very spesific.
like, it is imposible, to live, COMPLETLY UN AIDED in a room with no exit, wholes, equiptment, food, water, air, medicine ect ect...
but you have to really spesific and think of every posibilty.
