The door to the base slid open to reviel the 6 and a half foot tall lizard, leaning against the door fram and tapping his claws against the old steel plating with a loud "tic, tic, tic." He then erected himself to his full hight before saying, "Perhapsss we should continue thiss conversation inside, before the gatesss auto-lock in two minutess. It would be quite a bugger to manually overide the auto-lock switch wich would take close to an hour to do, all the incryption codesss and such."
He then lifted his head and narrowed his focus to Aertha, his tail flicked as he spoke. "So do we have any more news or information on the plauge against humanity?" Rex then turned to the two new commers, before allowing Aertha too answer, "let'sss go inside so we can talk in safty and so we can see wht to do with you two." He then turned and walked down the corridor towards the monitor room.

"I'd like to go home, if you don't mind." said Rosette as she walked down slower than normal -- from tiredness -- down the hall. Her foot steps ringing in her wake.

((I'm confused...who are the two newcomers? because Rosette and Tramer both said they were from this base, and so i'm the only newcomer...and im currently visible, but there's not two of me.))

Emmy's eyes widend as she slowley stood up and followed. She had everything written down, so she didn't have to talk. Yet. She hestated for a moment.

Kaiyne followed the great scaled figure and the two eyed girl into an extra lit room, with mutli-fauceted and poli-faced walls. All of these had tiny figures running across them. He was careful not to touch anything...everything looked so important, almost as if all of these people's lives depended on the continual functionality of these aparatuses.

Aerthra was about to answer but then Rex left with the new people. Aerthra contented himself with expaining what he experience to Tramer. If the Revenges brought those new kinds into the next battle, humanity would not survive. Or at least lose the last base.

Emmy sighed and walked into the room. She looked around and noticed everything around her, taking in every detail. She didn't want to forget anything. It looked to beutifull.

When they were all in the computer room, Rex placed the claw of his index finger on his chin and tapped it a few times before barking out orders to TRamer and Rosett. "Tramer I want you to take the male and do an analysis of his abilities, as well as interveiw him on his powers, goals and what he was doing around here. Rosett, I want you to do the same with the girl, find up as much as you can and give me the reports. Do the interviews in the two rooms at the end of the hall."
He then turn back towards Aertha inorder to hear the report, folding his arms across his chest while his tail swayed impaitiently side to side.

“yes sir” tramer said walking up to the man “the name is tramer would you pleas fallow me” tramer said motioning his hands as he started leading Kaiyne to the room Rex had specified

Kaiyne turned and faced the apparent leader.
"No.
I have not come to be a test subject." his voice still quiet and calm, but firm as well.
"I have been sent here, to ask for your help. My clan is dying, as I'm sure yours is as well. Every day, those things come and kill more of us.
I have been sent on a mission to find others of the human decent, and bring them to my den.
What was it they used to say years ago? United together we stand strong, but alone we fall like dominoes."
This whole speech was made from him in the same quiet, calm, nearly monotonous voice he always has ((and always will unless othwise stated)) spoken in. He did not slouch or cower, nor quiver the slightest as he gave his address to the lizardon.
"Should you decline this offer, I will be on my way just as soon as your gates will open for me."

Aerthra was about to make his report but was then interupted by Kaiyne. He thought about answering but thought that would be a violation of rank. So he waited to see what the commander would do.

Emmy was looking from one face to another. Everyone was so diferent. She knew that people used to look somewhat alike, but not anymore. She didn't want to be alone with one person, yet, and found this as a great opertunity. She pulled the letter out of her pocket and put it on the table. It said that she was the last person from her base and that she had nowhere else to go. A group of 10 monsters killed 75 people. She looked from face to face, waighting for anyone to pick up the letter.

Rex looked at Kaiyne after he gave his littlw speach with a very cool and calm look. "No you say? I believe that statment is false since you answered half of what I wanted to know in your little rant. If you would be so kind to give me the remaining information on your abilities, I will see what we can do for your clan."
As he was talking to Kaiyne, his tail slithered up onto the counter and coiled around the letter, wich was soon brought to his hards. He carfully opened the crumpled envelope and unfolded the piece of stationary. His yellow eyes flashed up and down the page quickly and in moments he spoke, "So you are the only person to escape the attack on the Beta base, under the command of the late Commander Taulton. Am I correct young lady? I find it rather remarkable that only ten of them could wipe out a base with over seven-fold of what they had. Then again most of them were un-modified. May I keep the computer's report from that base, since it has information on where every one was at, via the gps units they were equiped with, and thier times of death from went their vital signals were no longer readable by the sensors in their uniforms. With this I may be able to figure out their attack patters."
