Richard pondered Tommy's words as she moved to the other handpaw. Tommy was thinking about a direct attack from the sounds of it. A useless gesture unless the chips were disabled. The chips were wireless, perhaps there was a central broadcast tower? "I see where your going Tommy and intel is good. The more the better, what we really need is a way to disable the chips. They can track us with them. As long as they're in, he know where we are." They could be removed of course, but it would be the surgeon that would be caught. Richard felt it couldn't be that difficult but she wanted Sabin to trust her at the moment, removing someone's chip was not an option.

Tommy's expression went dark at the comment about the chips. "Oh, I know about those..." he muttered out, remembering the feeling of his entire nervous system locking up at a mere utterance from Moreau. "You weren't there for that, were you? It would be impossible for any of us to even attempt anything like that...he'll just freeze us up instead of knocking us out...which is much more painful. And we can't even be sure of the other lab techs, I'm sure the good doctor would be more than able to chip any lab member he wanted if he questioned their loyalty...no, the only real way is to go beneath their radar. Make them think freezing us isn't necessary until it was too late."
"Victor actually brought up a decent...if stupidly simple, idea. He told me of this islander named Cody who could actually swim in the ocean...add myself to the equation, and we could drop anything we wanted far out into the ocean without much questions asked." He grinned slightly as he continued...just saying it seemed stupid, but...it was the only thing they had at the moment. "Ever hear that song: Message in a Bottle?"

Richard only listened and nodded at Tommy's description of the chips.
"Ah yes. Young Cody. That's not a bad idea. Just try not to get caught, especially if your attempting to further your status as a double agent." She smirked, "What would you write on the messages?"

Tommy looked up, a bit surprised actually that Richard agreed with him. He was half expecting some witty put-down on the idea...and was pleased to discover it was anything but. "Well," he said, that giddy grin seeping back into his features, "Well, they'd expect me to test my boundaries in flight I suppose...so going a bit out into the ocean shouldn't really raise an alarm. Only thing I'm really worried about is the fact that I am almost helpless in the water...hmm? Oh, well my name, rank, serial number, and date of birth of course. But other than that...just general things...where we are, who's holding us. Nothing about...this though," he said while spreading a wing out. "S.O.S. stuff really...why, you have a better idea?"

"Include a list of all the islanders. That should raise some eyebrows. Some will float back to island. Don't let them know it was you." She nods sagely. The her nostrils flare, the wind had shifted and there was something nearby, that smelled... tasty. Richard's stomach gurgled as her mouth was flooded with saliva. It had been over 8 hours since she had eaten and her body was letting it be known that it was tired of being patient. She stands suddenly, climbing out of the river, sopping wet clothes clinging to her body. Looking around, she saw nothing.
"I'm heading back to the village now." She avoided looking at Tommy, fearing it might trigger new hunger pangs.

"Heh...that'll turn heads...but yeah, don't worry...I'll get Victor to write it up. Besides, I can't write anything anyway."
His ears of course heard the stomach growling and he instantly became a bit more apprehensive. He knew he should get out of there quickly. "Yeah...alright...I've gotta get flying anyway. But if you want there's..." he paused trailing off, sending out a few bursts of echolocation, "thre...no...two rabbits and one rather large mouse a little ways off by the tree line." At this, he got up onto all fours and batwalked off toward a nearby tree...the look that had taken over Richard continued to make Tommy antsy.

Richard licked her lips and stared almost longingly at the direction Tommy had indicated. Then shook herself. "Thanks but I try to stay away from raw meat. Take care." Richard started off in the direction of the village. It was getting harder to justify going back to the village to eat every day. The wilds of the jungle had been looking tastier every day. Trouble was, she knew people that smelled just like those jungle critters.
She told herself she still perfered cooked meat anyway.

Tommy just shrugged before hopping off at a relatively fast pace. "Seeyou around, Richard," he called out. It didn't look it, but his body now was very quick on the ground as well as the air. Upon reaching a tree with enough clearing to take off from, he quickly climbed and took off. His faith in Richard has been strained to the max since her last change...and this may have just broken the camel's back.
