Nodding, Aemilia said nothing otherwise to indicate that she understood. She was making a mental note of the names he had given, vowing to seek them out so she could start the task of finding a mentor. It would be an important task. As would planning her act, of course, but a mentor would be something to keep any eye out for even if she wasn't actively searching. Then again, maybe actively searching was a good idea...

Her thoughts had trailed off as she noticed his expression turning solemn. For a moment she wondered if he'd said something else that she'd missed somehow, but when he put his arm on her shoulders and began to usher her out of the Big Top, she quite forgot that possibility. She hadn't been touched companionably since her time with her caretaker, but her eyes merely widened slightly in surprise. She didn't pull away, still aware that this man had the power to kick her back to her own world if he wanted to. If they came back to her world, anyway.

It did sound horrible! Amee was confident she could hold her own no matter how slight her stature, but she didn't like the idea of someone fighting her for no real reason anyway. Once again in a whirl of activity, Aiden had changed the subject and was saying his farewells. Indirectly.

Fumbling for a reply, she smiled broadly and nodded, "Aye. I'll get right on that, promise. I can sleep in an empty cage if I gotta. Slept in worse places." She winked jovially.
