A rather tall and ridged looking boy stood unmoving , one shoulder barely touching the white and perfectly clean wall. He had a look of severe sadness upon his statuesque face. His almost blue eyes , that were almost white , were the filled with a sadness that simply made you want to cry just looking at them.
But somewhere behind that sadness was an anger that boiled in his very soul , that ate away at his heart like an acid. The only thing that ran through his mind was getting revenge on them. His only wish was to find and kill those bastards that had sent him to this vile , unbearable place , he wanted to tell them , his parents , exactly how he felt. Every day that event replayed in his mind , like a movie on continuous replay. They had dragged him here , kicking and screaming and handed him over to those , those sad excuses for anything humanoid. He could still feel their steely , vice like grips on his arms as he struggled against them.
He shook off the memory and pushed off the wall.
' Why do you torment yourself , Quinn? ' He asked himself as he brushed a strand of inky black black hair from his face. He had asked himself that question so many times but had never found an answer. Perhaps it was because he had never found the reason why his parents hated him so much. Maybe he was just insane , as his mother had screamed at him , again and again.
As he walked across the freakishly clean floor , he watched as the oh so well known Susy Caramal claimed yet another victim to her nearly attack like kisses.
He decided that watching the three that stood there would be the new subjects of his gaze. He then realized an opportunity now shone on him. One of the cyborg doctors walked right past Quinn. As soon as the 'creatures' back was to him he picked up a nearby chair and slammed it into it's back , sending the heavy robot to the floor with a crash.
As soon as this action happened though the cyborg was on his feet again and he had slammed his sleazy hand against Quinns face , sending him flying to the ground. The doctor then simply walked away , leaving Quinn lying on the ground in a heap.

Zenji just stood there, relaxed yet stotic, his eyes always seeing what was around him. It was just a habit. He was always cautious of what was going on around him, never wanting anything to catch him off guard. He liked to know what was happening, and not lose that control. His eyes unhazed as he came back to reality, glancing at the two, bickering over weather or not he wanted food after Daniel had introduced him. Zenji simply shrugged when he had meant no offense when he said he was rather quiet. There was none taken, since it was true, and he didn't understand why Daniel had appologized in a wierd fashion. Zen had not felt any anger towards him. he was just silent, so it made sense that he would say so.
"Humans really are strange creatures.."
He remmebered that his friend had said that such a long time ago. It was true. When he was asked if he wanted soup, he had actually opened his mouth to reply, though the girl, Susy was her name?, had cut him off and answered for him. Zenji sighed. He didn't want any, really, but as soon as Daniel headed off to get some he said nothing in definace. Even if he did detest liquid food. Zenji looked back to Susy Caramal, nodding as he sat beside her in one of the stiff chairs, wondering what kind of tips she would give him. If it was anything like life, then he was sure he could handle this community. His attention was veered lightly by the sound of a crash, then the sickening thud of a body against the floor. Zenji looked to the kid, nothing in his eyes; no worry, nor concern.
"Someone should help him.."
He mused softly, yet he himself made no movements. He didn't know the boy, so it was none of his concern.

None of the kids took much of a second glance at the sprawled out kid, and none of them moved to help. Everybody knew what would happen if you attacked one of the Staff, yet still somebody tried in every other week. It was as common as dirt, and those that attacked usually knew what was coming to them anyway.
Still, Susy Caramal glanced over, a large grin on her face. She reconized the other kid's face, but couldnt place a name to him.
"Yeah!" she cheered, clapping her hands after a long wistle, "you go big guy! You show Doctor StiffStick whose boss! Get over here, take a seat over here! Danny, get that guy a soup!" She shouted. Some of the people there laughed at her antics, but most barely noticed. She did this a lot.
As she waited for the two boys to move their butts and get back to the table, she turned her attention back to Zem.
"We call that doctor over there Doctor StiffStick becouse one of the patients spread a rumor that he saw the good cyborg get a stiffy near one of the patients once. How, when the guy's a robot, he could never explain. But the name stuck." Susy Caramal explained to Zem, a small laugh escaping her. "So, anyway, being as your new here and I am not, I feel as if it is my sworn duty to fill you in on some things."
Susy Caramal took a breath.
"Here's my first piece of advice; your roommate is nuts, take everything he says with a large grain of salt." she warned, taking a sip of her broth, "The poor sap has severe selective memory, devoloped it while he was in here, as if that's hard to believe. Ya know about Mikey right?" she continued on without an awnser, "Every day Danny over there wakes up and acts completly shocked to find Mike gone, when in fact the poor b*****d was relocated three weeks ago. Hopefully with you around that will at least break him of that paticualr delusion." she snorted, idly stirring her soup.

"Do you want fries with that?" the red headed staff member drawled, one of his eyes limp as it's arm kept twitching.
"No. You guys dont have any fries, I just want three bowls of soup." Daniel growled at the busted machine, trying to speak as clearly as possible.
"...please pull up to the window."
"What window?!"

Zenji glanced around, not seeing anyone pay much attention to the kid. Zenji couldn't say that he felt bad, since he just didn't generally feel anything for anyone, but thought that the move had been a bit..foolish. Yet, on the other hand, if that was the punishment, Zenji wondered absently if attacking one of the drones would be worth his while. Maybe they would even get rid of him. 'Exterminate' him.
He could only wish.
Zenji looked back to Susy Caramal, hearing why the called the robot that. He shrugged. Maybe it was possible. The technology ws so great these days that maybe they could have created an almost real human robot. Who knew. For one thing, Zenji really didn't care either way, since there were plenty of kids around with real working parts. Zenji turned back to her when he was speaking, this time about 'advice.' Really, Zen took anything anyone here said with a large grain of salt. He knew about life, he knew about different people and the wrongs and rights of the world.
He didn't need advice.
But he listened anyway.
Zenji had heard about Mike only from the robot and Daniel. That was it. He had no prior knowledge of the kid. He shrugged, not really thinking he was the go to man for solving anyone's problems.

"Bit of advice number dos," she smiled, holding up two fingers to better establish her point, "hit the robots all you want. They dont feel pain, they're stronger than us, they dont really care if we take a swing at them. They do, however, care about how we treat each other, how we treat the building, and escape attempts. Bassically, if your caught getting to handsy with anyone, they take you upstairs. If you mess up the building or anything in it too much, they take you upstairs. If you try to escape, your not likely coming back downstairs."She laughed, as if the topic was funny, and than honestly smiled at this Zen boy. He was a good listener.
"Last bit of advice," she held up a third finger, "try and steer clear of the staff. Their programmed to keep the atomoshpere tense, so they might attack you without provoction or take away rights for no reason. If your really unlucky, they take you upstairs. There's nothing you can do about it if it does happen to you, but you become a less likely target if you avoid their gaze."
She sighed, obviusly content after having given her two-bits, before grinning wolfishly at the other boy.
"So, your new? Can I ask how you were Outed?"

Zenji listened, hearing once more about the upstairs. He guessed from the way everyone talked, was that when something bad was to happen, they went 'upstairs', and since no one really had a clue of what happened up there, since it was obvious no one come back down, Zenji made his own assumptions. Instead of his eyes going wide in fright or terror, Zenji's lips curved into a small smile. He listened to the advice, yet took it into his own way. Maybe he should begin to disobey, to star trouble. To got,..upstairs. He wasn't a morbid kid, yet he felt as though he had been here for far too long. He felt as though maybe, just maybe, his time had come.
Zenji nodded vaugely at her last statement, still musing on his own thoughts. Absently he felt his stomach grumble, and sighed. Great. He really wasn't hugnry, yet he susposed that his body had other ideas. He turned to her, blinking slightly in confusion.
"Outed?"

"You know, out of the closet, Outed? How did society at large figure out your ship rocks the wrong way?"
"Outed" was a common term used around here, and Susy Caramal forgot sometimes that thats not what people called it outside the hospital. Still, as far as anyone was concerned in here, if you were here you were 'Outed', and everyone has an Outed story.
In all honesty, this was a rude question, and most people diddnt ask it and rarely awnsered. Still, Susy wasnt known for her stealth.

Zenji nodded as he heard her. A strange term for how people found out that he was gay, but he went with it. Zenji hated talking for long periods of time, especially about himself, but he would grant her the one small wish.
"My foster parents found me in my room sleeping with another guy. People always thought i was strange anyway, because i'm different. Many can't handle something out of the ordinary, so i think regardless i would have been thrown in here for never showing an intrest to any of the females around me."
Zenji's voice had a touch ofa light foregin accent, though he spoke clearly enough for her to understand. Everyone always thought it was queer that even though he had the girls fawning over him, he never cared. He was silent as always. He just didn't find them attractive in the way most guys did. It was all the same to him, and personally he didn't think he was different. But, humans couldn't accept that as a whole, and thus he was here.

Quinn knew that his attack on the cyborg was pointless , yet every week he did it , for he would just snap. It was in his nature to have a quick temper and he never did anything to control it.
He glared as the mechanical footsteps faded away and he pulled his tall frame up from the ground. He sighed and walked over to Susy Caramal and who he figured to be one of the newer patients. He had his hands shoved in his pockets and his eyes on the ground , as was usual.
" Hey yall. " He said in a quiet tone , his voice barely ever raising above that level. He hadn't particularly wanted to interact with Susy but he felt he might as well say some sort of hello to this new guy. Other than a severe anger problem Quinn was a rather nice person , always submissive to everyone but those damn doctors.
He sighed and ruffled his hair slightly as it fell in his light eyes. He did this often to hide what ever emotion might show on his face.
He then realized that being near Susy Caramal might cause him to be attacked in some sexual way and he really hoped she wouldn't. But if she chose to he wouldn't fight back , as was his nature.

Zenji just sat quietly, having told his small story and thought that it was enough. Of course there was always far more than what met the eye, yet he just didn't feel talking. His life was his own buisness. While thinking to himself about everything, he noted the male from before, who was on the ground, now was beside them at the table. Zenji nodded to him, not saying anything, but overall thought that he was a decent looking kid and shy as well. Not too bad.
"Hi."
Zenji said, short and quick, but it got the job done. He glanced to the girl, wondering if she was going toattack him like she had done to him. It wouldnt be surprising.

"Take a seat neighbor, what's your name? And Dear Lord, Your So Cute! How come we havnt met before?!" Susy Caramal grinned fiercly, getting up from her seat adn walking towards the doctor fighter. Her need for a kiss had been fulfilled only moments before, so all she did was envelope the other boy into a tight bear-hug, not careing about his lack of response as she let him go.
Behind her Danny was walking up, carefully carrying three bowls of soup and noodles, grumbling about McDonald wannabees.
He sat each soup down on the table, one in front of Zen and two in empty seats, and sat down to his own bowl.
"Happy Susy Caramal?" Danny grumbled, though he seemed more relaxed now that he had food in his mouth.
"Always Danny." Susy Caramal grinned.

Quinn stiffened with the hug and merely looked down at the girl. He was rather against such contact with women , and had been for a while. He pulled at the ends of his long sleeved shirt , crossing his long arms across his narrow chest. He smiled nervously and though about if he really wanted to introduce himself.
" I....I'm Quinn. "
He said in a shy manner. He then grabbed a nearby chair and slowly sat , pulling one of his knees close to his chest and holding it there. As much as he had shown anger earlier he really was one of the most closed and shy people you could ever meet.

[ xD ok. im still grounded, so ill be here, but ill see you friday. ]
Zenji glanced towards Susy Caramal as she fawned over the new guy. Yes, he was cute. Zenji agreed. The kid, who's name he wouldn't find out for a few more minutes, was very cute, and very shy. Zenji was thankful for that, since then he wouldn't have another person yapping to him day after day. Not that he would ever blatently speak out and voice that, though he knew people got it when he would flash a look across his normally calm facade. Zenji was broken a small bit from his thoughts as he glanced to the soup that was set kindly in front of him. The only thought that crossed his mind was 'gross.' He honestly did not like soup. Eating something that was liquid just lost its appeal for him. With a small nudge from his hand he pushed it away, sitting back in his chair as he glanced around to everyone.
Zenji glanced back to the new male, amused inside as he saw the look that crossed his eyes. So, he hadn't been happy with it either. Not too strange. Zenji saw him sit, and when he did pushed his soup towards Quinn, thinking that he should eat it instead of himself. Zenji wasn't much of an eater. He gave a small smile, nodding to him.
"Zenji."
He said as he nodded towards Quinn, introducting himself simply as well. The kid was far more shy than he was. Actually, Zenji wasn't shy at all. he was just silent. Much more different.
