"Finnaly..." She slowed down some to walk beside him, amnaging a small smile. "I.. Have missed you.. Even if you don't remeber..."

"If I could remember, then I'm sure that I would miss you as well." He made a weak smile in hopes to cheer her up more, clearing what he hoped to be the final tree of this godforsaken forest.

"I'm sure you would..." She sighed, eyes closed, missing the last tree root on their way out and triping over it. It took a moment of looking around to figure out what she'd triped on, but then sighed. "I can't keep my thoughts in order since.. Since back then.."

"Back then?" he said, quite confused. He looked up into the night sky that shown above them. The moon lay hidden, covered in clouds. It saddened him that the night sky seemed to wish to hide from him.

"When.. We were.. Seperated. When i couldn't find you..." She shook her head, falling back to look up at the sky. "Looks like rain... Not good..."

"Then perhaps we should hurry," he spoke, picking her up upon his back, giving her a piggy back ride. Running of towards the bar without a care. Even though his entire front now lay exposed to all those before him.

As he awoke from his slumber beneath the oak tree, D looked about himself to get his surroungdings. As he noticed the trees around him, he let out a deep primal scream in realization that he was no longer in Paradise and that his vision of it was a dream. He rested his head against the tree and began to doze again, wanting to return to the closest thing to Paradise, his dreams.

A sudden movement at D's hand made him awake from yet another visit to his dream Paradise. A squirrel had ran across it running to an acorn near his hand. To the small rodent, he must seem dead he thought. With a lightning fast movement, he grabbed the animal and sank his fangs into it with a swift puncture and began to suck its blood. The animal struggled at first but soon fell silent as its life force was drained.

Finishing the squirrel, D stood up and streched from being on the ground so long sleeping. He sprouted his wings and streched them in their full glory and flapped them to get out all the cramps. "Can't have them stiff incase of an emergency," he said to himself in the forest. As he retracted his wings he began to walk about trying to get his bearings.

Walking through the forest, D began to drift back to the days of Paradise. He longed to be able to once again walk the clouds above humanity and look down upon them. If it was not for his anger at the slightest misunderstanding, he could still hold his position in the clouds. He continued to walk in the direction that a town was supposed to be in, hoping that he may find a place to call home in this land of Earth.

Continuing to walk through the forest, D began to ponder why he was even walking when he could be flying. Just because he was in this hellish place, did not mean that he had to act like the humans that walked about. D sprouted his black wings and took flight above the trees, circling at first but then with more of a direction, even if that direction was not the town.

Stepping through the forest, each movement breaking twig after twig beneath his feet, the Blonde haired enigma drew forth with no sense of purpose. It was as if his only purpose was to befuddle those that might pass by.

Flying through the sky, D noticed a blond form wandering through the forest beneath him. "I do need better nurishment than that squirrel" he thought to himself as he swooped down to land in front of this blond stranger.

With this abrupt meeting, he said no word to the stranger, but rather, stared him down. The whisp of the wind brought his hair to fly about for a moment, before returning as it was. He thought for a moment to draw forth his step once more and continue on, walking around the stranger, but paused in wait instead, curious as to what was to happen.

Landing in front of the stranger did nothing to phase him and it looked as he may even just walk around and continue on his way. D took a step closer and peering into the eyes of the stranger lowered his glasses. " Excuse me sir, but may I ask your name?", D asked the blonde stranger before him. He did not want to appear rude if he was going to eventually ask for this mortals blood sacrifice to him.
