KyotoPsycho I know what will happen if they stopped the series. I will cry. Well apparently they'll stop it after season 3-4 - in the peak of its popularity...that just seems so stupid to me. I'm speculating (partly from an article I read about Barrowman in s3 DW) that if they do end it then, it'll end up with the main focus transferring to Torchwood and everyone over there.... gonk

Just because they rearranged the letters in Doctor Who does not mean it is a good substitute. *folds arms and sighs*
Besides... Torchwood has not come to America so if that happens the US fans lose out completely... crying

Mike Yates Kecitich Was it just me? Am I the thick one in here? I think regenerating 13 times means there will be 14 doctors? so if anything will come to an end, the 14th doctor will be the last? Now it's 10th doctor in the current series right? How many time the Doctor regenerated? First doctor to 2nd doctor = regenerated 1 time. 2nd to 3rd = 2nd times regenerated. So 9th doctor to 10th doctor should be 9th time right? They could bring the TARDIS to become a life form human, at that point maybe they could rename this "Doctor who" into "policebox what"? lol I know if it will end, I will be one of those people who missed it very much and re-watch those old episodes of Doctor Who No, they said in the series that Time Lords can regenerate 12 times. I think it was in 'The Deadly Assassin'. You probably heard a bunch of fans talking about 13 'regenerations' when they meant 'incarnations' because I'm pretty positive that Time Lords die for real after their lucky 13th body. I got confused about that until I saw "Mawdryn Undead" today, which states that they have 12 regenerations (13 lives). I have no clue what they're going to do with the Doctor and his lives and such. A lot of it is speculation at the moment, and we'll probably have to wait a while. Still, it'll be over when it ends, whenever they decide to end it. It will be sort of sad when it's over, but all things must come to an end. And there are plenty of stories to watch again.
