The pilot pouted faintly, he was pretty sure that this wasn't how Macy was usually.. And there was that look again that twisted the unigons face, "Macy.. Are you.. Sure?" He peeped curious over his shoulder, wondering if there was something in particular that was angering or otherwise upsetting the expecting man infront of him.. Or was it him? "Would it help if I left you be, Macy..? Or I can go and get you something to drink from cook if you'd like!" He paused, offering the unigon a small smile, dragging an empty discarded crate over, and folding his thick black dress coat over it, offering the man a seat while he waited for a responce.

Macy blinked again, Zuberai talking to him shocking him out of his scowling thoughs. He sat down blankly, his face still completely blank as he looked at the Pilot once again. His hormones were definately screwign about with him again.
"just thinking past things over...like being left in court a few months ago.." he mumbled, looking up at the Pilot. "don't go, and some mineral water would be good" he was afraid that if he said 'water', he'd be drinking from the sea, just how his logic worked.

"I share your pain on that one Macy. Court is nothing but pure hell. Bleh. I hate having to go back every now and then." This came from the hardy Bo'Sun, not someone you would imagine to be in court. But if Macy had been there long enough he would have remembered the rambuncious young son of Calisitna. He did, in fact, hate going back to court to visit his mother. Mostly because he required him to dress nicely or he'd never get in the door.

Ayudar considers everything, then heads to stand near the bow, where he could lean back and watch the Doctor with the Flamingo, looking on curiously. He was comfortably resting against the rail. It was nice, waiting here, for the captain and to set sail.

The pilot gave Macy a friendly grin, and couldn't quite decide whether he should tease him about his phrasing, for he would have to leave him to fetch him water, of course. He decided that overall it wasn't really going to be a very good idea too, with the state that the poor unigon was in at the moment, on the other hand there was a very very slim chance that it would snap him out of his reverie.. With a gentle breeze playing through his long hair the elf leant against the railings, right beside Macy and patted himself down, "Well, Macy.. I can't say that I'm all too sure if I have any water in my pockets.." He glanced over the edge of the rails, and grinned before pausing to to firmly pat one of the pockets of his coat that was limply hanging down the side of the crate he had seated Macy on. "Or maybe I'm lieing.." With a curious sparkle to his eyes he reached into the pocket and withdrew a small sealed skin of some form or another, liquid sloshing around inside it. He chuckled, "Well I admit I got my hopes up just then Macy, but you really won't want this.. I'm afraid," he straightened up and beamed down at the unigon with a flourishing bow, "That you shall just have to make do without my company for a few moments. I shall simply have to journey far into the belly of the ship in search of cook!" He made sure his head was tantalisingly close enough to be smacked, if the unigon so wished. "I do hope, that you can amke do without my company then!"

Macy blinked at the grin, giving a neautral look that held a hint of a warning. It was his normal look really, and when he was like this, well it just came out without him meaning to and the disappearance of Captain Daddy, had in the very least, annoyed the Unigon immensely.
"Well Mungo the Magician.." Macy said after Zuberai had made the show of patting himself down and reealing a bottle of who-knows-what--he really didn't want to know what the Elf was drinking, seriously-- His unusual eyes hadn't shown the slightest bit of humour and having Zuberai's face close to his made his body screm in protest about the personal space invasion. "...I'll just have to follow you" he answered, tugging harshly on Zuberai's left ear. Zuberai had totally overtaken his attention to even think of answering the Bo'Sun.
"let's go sir bounce-a-lot" Macy answered, obviously his time on the Surface had dramatically altered his speech and demeanor. He was more relaxed, he didn't act princely and insults rolled off his loosened tongue like butter on a hot corn on the cob. The Unigon ran a restless hand through one of his bunches of hair, before he pushed away from the side of the ship, his left hand catching Zuberai's scarf as he walked, tugging the elf into a walk to follow. He wasn't going to face the cook on his own.

Zubi seemed quite at ease to push the unigon just a little in conversation. It was only healthy afterall!
The grin faltered just a little as a slightly delicate, pointed ear was given a tug, but it soon returned, unwavering as he straightened, flourishing a hand, in what was almost a mockery of the high society of the court, a place he had only seen when he had been little, before his life on the seas.. It had been a long time ago that incident.. Shaking his head, grin on his face, he winked at Macy, "Oh you really would be quite amazed at some of the tricks I can do! Have you ever seen me dissapear my dear gunner..? Or make a faithful steed appear before your eyes, Macy?" He laughed, flicking the hair that had tumbled over his shoulder back over it to hang down his back again, though his laughter was cut a little short at another sharp tug, this time to his scarf.
"!!" he coughed once then laughed once more, it was a nice warm laugh, self mocking in a good sort of way. "Oh okay then! Let us away! I'll make sure to protect you from cook, and his galley of destruction!" He made to strike a small pose, but was just tugged along in the wake of a unigon on the prowl.
He forgot to grab his coat as he was led away from the crate by his scarf, and the shirt that he wore underneath the heavy coat looked to be miles too big for him. It did not reveal much, but could only leave one wondering if there was much of a body underneath the thin worn out cloth.
"Ahh~" He darted aruond Macy quickly, to scoot swiftly down the sharp descent off the deck and onto the lower decks. You never knew when your feet could betray you going down there, and if this was the day it happened to the unigon, there would be no forgiveness if there was no one there to prevent it. Whether Macy saw it that way, or even let go of the scarf in the first place was down to him of course. "C'Mon then, Macy-Macy!"

" oh yes,i'm surprised you aren't with Bayne, Zuberai" Macy answered lightly, hand still gently grasping the striped scarf that the pilot wore. He threw a look over his shoulder to the pilot, a ghost of a smile on his lips before he continued along the deck, dragging the talkative and bright-personalitied Elf along with him. Was he drunk on happy??
"I don't like riding horses and Bayne seems to disappear alot on his own" Macy murmured, well he was part unicorn and they were somewhere in that lineage and it was true. Macy had spent many a time sitting pon the crates, watching the gunner crawl around looking for something, then he'd look away and Bayne would be gone. He had got used to it after it happened the first three times.
Macy slackened his tug when the Pilot coughed, okay..maybe that had been too hard a tug. He spent an apologetic look over his shoulder but did not relinquish his hold. He couldn't help but chuckle at Zuberai's phrasing. He didn't much like the galley, or the cook for that matter. "thank you then" he answered, looking at Zuberai and silently wishing he could just go back to his normal self. He had lost more sleep than ever and had taken to sleeping seperately from Caspian, so he would not disturb the Pirate King. His back felt like it had been broken and rebroken at the worst of times.
Macy stopped, letting the scarf slip from between his fingers as Zuberai stepped down before him. Another reason he didn't like the Galley. The stairs bugged him, they were too narrow and too steep. He'd been warned after falling down them once, to take extreme caution. He practically panicked going down them now. Though his haughty pride wouldn't let that leak through to his outer self.
"Macy-Macy??" Macy asked, slowly and carefully descending the steps, small tan hands pressed against the wall in an effort for a sort of grip.

Zubi continued to chuckle away, happy as ever, "Well.. We may see Bayne in passing soon enough, I saw him come scrambling down here not all too long ago really!" The seemningly slight elf beamed, holding his hands up as high as he could reach so that Macy could take them for support during his descent rather than the grip-less wood on either side, though that would dissapear for the latter of the steep steps. The massive shirt sleeves riding up the dark tanned arms, revealing that he did have a little muscle on his frame. THough it could be said that it went without saying considering his position on the ship.
His eyes sparkled with amusement, "Oh Macy.. What made you assume I meant horses? I have Bayne for that too! I do fancy that he could run as fast as one of those four legged creatures at any-rate! Especially with his beloved on his tail!"

"oh?? is that so??? was he running from you??" Macy asked, tentitively releasing is grip on the wall and sliding his hands into Zuberai's, holding tight and pushing his trust for the elf forward. He held on, trying to return the support for the elf. Zuberai was a tad more muscular than Macy had imagined, Macy himself had muscles, but of coarse they weren't over pronouncd and he was surprised to see Zuberai was smaller than himself--minus the pregnancy.
"I feel sorry for Bayne, for git, has you and Zaelia tormenting him" Macy muttered quietly, concentrating on making sure his footing wouldnt slip. an injury this far into his pregnancy could be unltimately fatal and another loss would not help the Unigon any. Though he was worried, worried for if the world would accept his child.

The pilot laughed a little more, "From me? Now why would he do that! He does adore me really, you know!" He curled strong fingers around Macy's somewhat petite hands and slowly, carefully he stepped backwards, down another step, helping the captains beloved into the lower decks. He felt quite sure footed today it had to be said, and he was more than happy to take as much of the weight the unigon wanted to put on him. There were only a couple more steps for the elf to manage at any rate, and he soon had both his feet planted firmly on the swept floors of the the gun-deck.
"Oh, didn't he tell you? He loves it really, the masochist!" He winked again, the slightly cheeky grin present as ever on his features. He blinked rather a lot when he came face to face with Macy's stomach however, "Hell! You know, I think that child of yours gets bigger by the minute, Macy!" Still he held on to the hands in his, continuing to peer at the stomach on and off. He honestly hadn't noticed quite how large it had become, "Any day now, eh..? Or do you have a while yet?" He queried, his dark eyes questioning now, taking a step back to make way for Macy on the neatly swept, though well lit gun-deck.
His fingers twitched. He supposed that it must be a natural reaction to want to touch. He did however feel that the unigon may well be getting fed up of stomach relating fussings however.

"he has a weird sense of adoration then" Macy commented, suddenyl reminded of his relationship with Jareth. As dysfuctional as it was, there was still a thick underlying level of love and trust. Maybe it was the same for Bayne and Zuberai?? He put on a thoughtfulo expression....nah!!
Macy was surprised to find that Zuberai, though slighter than himself, had bolder and more masucline hands. He scowled at this, peering at his own, more feminine but slightly caloused hands. He didn't like how rough they were so he did use a hand lotion Nishi had thrust (quite forcibly) into his hold when the Businessman first sighted his hands. He still used it, habit.
He did feel the icy pool of fear and dread evaporate from his sense when his feet met the decking once again and he let his hands slip from Zuberai's, relaxing a little until he heard what Zuberai said and socwled, very, very blackly. "are you implying i'm getting fat??" he asked maliciously. Caspian had gone through the same thing, though he was used to Macy's bouncing moods. Jareth knew him best, though he was out of practice to Macy's sensitivity. "I'm overdue..." came the grumbling reply, the Unigon's horselike ears flat against his head as he stared the Pilot down, daring him to say how big he was again.
He didn't miss the twitching fingers and raised an eyebrow, he had had that plenty enough and looked at him. "it's not moving right now, you won't be able to feel the baby" he answered, glad for the reprieve as the baby had been moving a lot for the past few days.

"You're telling me!" Zuberai laughed, "Just can't keep ua apart, eh?" He relinquished his hold on Macys hands once he was sure that the unigon was steady on his feet, and he only just managed to hold back a small pout. He'd would have loved to have felt the child, but if there was nothing to feel.. It was silly anyway!
He froze as he moved to walk away from Macy, feeling a turbulent set of eyes boring great holes into him accusingly.. He turned to face him again, offering him the ends of his scarf, "Macy.. I never said you were fat." He started gently, "You're just pregnant, and in my experience, pregnant people can get away with having stomachs like that and still be incredibly attractive, which you are!" He slowly quirked a fine eyebrow, a small smile on his features still, not a hint of mockery in his voice, "Fat men.. Are nasty. They just aren't attractive in the slightest.. What with all those chins.. And.. Arms.." He shuddered, "I assure you I only let the pretty people hold my scarf!" He smiled again. "Now, don't you think we should retrieve that drink of yours..?"
Still holding the scarf out, he took a step back, towards the galley.

Macy frowned and huffed, staring at the scarf held in Zuberai's hands. Caspian had said the same, though mainly, the pirate kign seemed interested in his backside and Macy couldn't tell if he was joking or serious. Being told he was still attractive made him feel better.
"well thanks then" he murmured, moving his hand to taek the scarf when he felt a sharp kick from the baby. Wincing slightly, he moved the outstretched hand to place over the area that had just been hit. Rubbing it gently as he looked at Zuberai, he stretched both arms out and took Zuberai's hands. Gently placing them over his stomach, where the baby was kicking and moving. so much for a break from pain...

Zubi just smiled, happy and more than a little relieved that he had managed to quell Macy's wrath for the time being. Stroking his ego was good at times, it seemed! "It's true, Macy! You shouldn't need to thank people for being truthful.." He nodded.. Though once more one of his eyebrows arched at the unigons sudden, apparent discomfort.
Red-brown eyes flicked down and settled on the stomach, a sympathetic look. "Ah.. Guess I should watch what I say! Making mum angry apparently upsets baby, hmm?" He tried not to smile, but the expression was just a permanent fixture it seemed. He did have the grace to offer Macy an apologetic look. One day he'd learn to hold his tongue..
Though yet again the smile was back as his sadly rough hands were taken and pressed to Macy's stomach. He felt the child move, and the expression soon turned to a delighted grin, the eyes shining happily again as he tipped his head to look down at the stomach. "Wow.. Caspian's going to have a time of it trying to keep an eye on you, isn't he..?" He beamed, "And when your old enough we'll teach you how to ride Bayne, with mum's permission, eh?" He chuckled softly.
