"I look so helpless to you?" Another husky chuckle was all the mare gave him, and she continued casually tasting his mane, teeth grazing his neck teasingly. She smiled at the shiver she felt beneath his sweat-slickened skin, and her red lips moved close to his ear. "Tell me what you have that I would want, and perhaps I will confess that, boy. What brought you to this desert you say is not mine?"

"Ye be puttin' words in me mouth now," Her arched a brow at her words, it was one of his little pet hates when someone did that. He didn't mind if someone twisted his words to a point, but blatantly putting them in his mouth was an entirely different matter! He was in half a mind to stomp off and leave her cooing in his wake but then she started nibbling at his neck in the most unusual manner.

Tensing his muscles to ensure his knees didn't give way (or he didn't bolt), he very slightly tilted his neck. It was subtle and scarcely a movement at all but she would have felt it beneath her neck. While he wouldn't admit it openly, didn't understand the quiver of anticipation in his own limbs... he did like it, now there was just one little question he had to answer.

What did he have?

Well if she was the Queen of Thieves...she'd like rare things right?

"I 'ave a glowin' feather...?" He offered faintly.

The mare flicked her ears forward to catch that. A glowing feather? She'd consider that intriguing prize later. For the moment, there was another to be won....or stolen.

Stolen, more likely. She muffled an impatient breath in his mane. This colt was thick as the green he lived in. At least his body knew what didn't register in his brain quite yet. She pressed along his side fully, felt the tremor in him, saw it in his eyes.

"You must have seen lands more distant than this, then." she remarked casually.

To be entirely honest he wasn't thrilled at the prospect of surrendering the keep sake his uncle had gave him. A symbol of his link to the stallion, Biscuit was extremely proud of the feather and everything it represented. Alright, so it glowed in the dark and amused small children (and mares) but it was what it meant to him that was important.

Luckily, he didn't hear her somewhat disgruntled snort into his mane. It seemed this male was one of those irritating creatures that needed everything put right in front of him. Admittedly, his Uncle most certainly couldn't teach him this little bit but still...

He gave another shudder and flicked his gaze towards the mare. Slowly but surely something was beginning to respond and a somewhat more wild and undisciplined side was creeping through his defences. Feral instincts, one might say - his body knew what he was meant to do, even if his mind wasn't entirely certain and clearly this mare had every intention of providing what his 'feral' side desired.

Was his travel really that important?

"Mmm, I seen enough." He replied in an uninterested tone, his eyes fixed firmly on the mare as he slowly began to slide his hind hoof around hers, his own form resting more forcefully against her side.

"And now, my sands." she replied, easily inviting the colt's movements against her. She flashed white teeth again. "I suppose it would be dishonor on my tribe not to offer a stranger some token as well."

"And what token," His tone became husky and his accent dulled. His words became more eloquent as though echoing those of another, but it certainly added to the effect. His words were light, but sultry enough to indicate that every sense of 'honour' had been thrown to the wind for the time being... As but a colt, his discipline was significantly less that of a matured and experienced stallion.

The feral side won.

"Would that be...?" He finished softly, his eyes seeming to glaze over just a little.

The mare's eyes danced like the shimmering heat on the dunes. "Everything I choose to give you, kid."

[[...skipping ahead...]]

...And she gave him quite a lot, a considerable amount that left him positively reeling. Oh he had heard stallions rant and rave about the delights of mares, had listened to them discuss their tactics and yet he had never grasped their meaning. Well, he hadn't until now at least - now he was a changed stallion and was most definitely not a colt.

It was a strange feeling.

Unsurprisingly, his knees were somewhat wobbly despite this fact and he struggled uncertainly to maintain his footing on the sands as he blearily made his way towards familiar territory once again. The rather ridiculous smile seemed to have found a permanent place upon his lips and didn't look set to move just yet either...

Oh, if only he had known sooner!

Pausing briefly, he glanced over his shoulder back across the dunes he had came from and shuddered, a small and very content sigh escaping his lips. A smug glint in the eye... Ah yes, he wouldn't be forgetting this little piece of history for a very long time (if ever). When he had heard 'Thieves' he had expected a mare with a love for jewels but apparently he had sorely misunderstood the context...
