I still can't believe people take that at face value. I shall have to point you violently towards the 'Severus Snape' thread, and also the one that says something like 'Is Snape what he Seems?'. But anyways, yeah...

Empress_Kat According to some site that had me read some Inaugural Address thingy, I speed read at 750-800 WPM, and read comprehensively at about 600 WPM. That sounds much faster then I thought, though. See? It suprised me too when I found out I read that fast. Only one person in my class read faster than I did.

It took me roughly 16 hours give or take to read over the span of two days. It could have been over the span of 1 day if I didn't have to sleep. *sigh* Sleep is evil when you're into a book.

Yes. Being mortal sucks, doesn't it. Imagine a life of no sleep, no food and no fear of dying[although I personally fon't fear death in anyway] it'd be nice, no?

let me see...I read for probably one hour and a half, the day the book came out. Then the day after, I read it for three hours...so there you go, four and a half. When I got to the chapter about Horcruxes, I can't seem to stop myself from reading the rest.

I had re-read the entire series so many times that by the time I got the Half-Blood Prince It took me about two and a half hours. I can down the Goblet of Fire in one and a half. (I had my friend Seirra time me)
I've read each book twenty-three times and counting...
Reading it that much, you begin to pick up clues. 4laugh
