Liliana paused a moment, watching her friend with a silly smile on her face. It was good to see Edward smiling and happy. She wished he could be so more often. A nudge to her shoulders broke her out of whatever reverie she had been in and Lily turned to see Zell's tattooed face grinning at her. "You heard the guy! Dinner! You may be able to skip lunch, but Hyne if I'm gonna let any pupil of mine skip two meals in a day!"

He nudged her again and laughing Liliana took off after her friend. "I'm coming, Edward!"

Nearing the house the smell of dinner wafted from inside. The scent of beef, potatoes, carrots, and spices filling the air. Liliana's stomach reacted to the smells and rumbled softly. Behind her, Zell's stomach fair roared and he laughed sheepishly.

Inside the house a myrad of noises could be heard as the thundering hoards gathered for dinner. A small white rabbit bounded out the door, two small dishes of food floating in front of him. One set down in front of the cait Amaryllis without a sound. The other stayed with him. Glancing at the trio heading for the house Peter sat up on his hind legs, small nose twitching. "Chow's ready. If you're up for the madness. Maree & I are eating outside." The familiar's eyes fell tenderly on his charge. "Ginny cooked enough to feed an army."

Only then did something dawn on Liliana. If she was human she would have smacked her head. "Oh! I've slept outside!" That was a first. Zell nearly fell as he double over laughing.

Still laughing, Zell pushed the studious female in through the open door after her famished friend. Hemi met them partway with a knowing grin that his sister did not catch. "I see Ed's back. Can't believe you slept outside, Lily." She nuzzled her brother. "Me either!"

Ginny turned with a smile to Ed. Fully along in her pregnancy she moved slower. Especially in the crowd that was in her kitchen. Of course it like other rooms grew to accommodate those inside. Other than a glare she ignored the twin Weasley Talayes' gibes at her being like their mother -pregnant & cooking. "Well when Hemi told me you were back I had to make it for you, didn't I?" Her smile was vibrant. She did so enjoy cooking for those who really appreciated it.

Lily, Hemi & Zell made their way into the kitchen as Ginny shot a bowl filled to nearly overflowing followed by a plate with a few fresh biscuits to set in front of the fullmetal. Liliana padded over to the fridge with a smile. "Would you like a glass of milk or something with that, Edward?"

The room grew quiet at Edward's cry of 'no milk' -everyone drank milk except for the audio Gwen & she had been seen around the house less and less as the weather warmed. Liliana just blinked, more than mildly stunned and confused. She could see the look of disgust on her friend's face and truthfully felt at a loss. She continued to get herself, Hemi & Zell some -after catching their eyes and getting nods that yes, they wanted milk- while she was in the fridge. Only then could she find her voice. "Ummm... would you like something else then?"

"You don't like milk?" "Those're fighting words in this house." Fred and George talaye teased. Their eyes widened & they blanched feeling a death glare from Ginny. She did not get a chance to chastise them as a fae winged talaye female with mismatched eyes, a hair wrap & an angelic sash beat her too it having bypased the glare. "oh, leave him be, won't you? If Trelweny can not like tomatoes, Liliana's friend can not like milk." Fidelity gave the fullmetal kit a gentle smile. "Looks like you eat enough to not have to worry about drinking milk. Not like Theron."

Liliana shot the talaye female a thankful grin as her twin ran in, sunset scarf flying behind her. Hearing -or rather not hearing- Mirage blinked her swirling green eyes. "Okay. What gives?" Zell laughed and stood on his back legs a moment to throw a paw around her shoulders. "Tell ya later, Mirage. Kay?"

Shaking her head in wonder but smiling, Liliana brought Edward over some cranberry juice as she joined him at the table with her milk.

The Weasley twins had to swallow their chuckles at the idea of little Edward kitsusagi willing to fight them because their kitsu sister was glaring at them. Of course, they had never seen Edward fight so they could only go off of his size. and a full grown talaye was larger than a normal full grown kitsu. Ed was only a teen. "yeah? Well you need it, mate." the twins chimed in unison before taking their servings and heading across the greatroom to the door in the north wall. Ginny huffed to see them go, then smiled seeing Ed finish. "More, Edward?"

Liliana ate slowly from her own serving. She really was not much of an eater. She knew that drinking milk alone did not make one grow - she never skimped in drinking her milk and she was still small. Not that Lily minded. In fact she liked being her size. Still she wondered at Ed's dislike of it.

Swirling green eyes regarded the fullmetal kitsu curiously, Zell's foreleg still draped through her light blue mane across her back. "But they didn't call you a half-pint midget. Just said you needed it." Fidelity tried unsuccessfully to shush her twin as Ginny shot Mirage a glare that was equally missed before smiling at Edward and refilling both bowl and plate. "No. Seriously. They're right. You've barely grown since Zell pup & I helped Rikku audio with your automail -neat stuff by the way, don't think I ever got to tell you that. That was before Remy's new litter even, and now they're teens too..." Her voice trailed of, eyes widening at the fullmetal alchemist's reaction.

Lily, worried, made a sound in her throat to hopefully soothe her friend.

Mirage's green eyes blinked. "Oh! Well that would make sense." She nodded, wincing a little remembering helping Rikku put the automail back on, the shriek of pain the kitsu had made, and gave him a sympathetic look. Lily gave him a comforting nuzzle.

Showing a display of upcoming motherly affection Ginny too nuzzled the fullmetal, though it was no where near as warm as the one Lily gave him. "Hey. It's all right. Certainly not anything you're not doing holding you back. Everyone grows at different rates. Why look at the talapups Zell & Seifer! They've been pups since before I came here, and only just reached their majority."

"I'll like you no matter how much you grow or don't grow, Edward." Liliana whispered softly in her friend's ear. She finished her own stew and nibbled lightly on a biscuit with butter on it. "Do you think we should go check on Atae now?"

"Check on Atae?" Hemi glanced up from his second bowl with surprise & worry in his baby blue eyes. Ginny also looked concerned, as did those that remembered the belted female. "How come you say that like she's been hurt?" He looked from Ed to Lily and back again. "She's not, is she?"
