I've lost track of how related books/articles I have read.
Of course the Emperor is still sentient. If you read hte fluff on the Black Library (aka Illuminati) they speculate that the Emperors soul is roaming the Warp searching for a suitable vassal for his great spirit, waiting for that suitable vassal, and avoiding the deamons, and chaos gods. (if I sound rude I apologize)

The illuminati are on the of hte few beings besides the keepers and the Harlequins allowed inside the Black Library. It is a very good story to read about. I'll try and find the link to it.....when I find it again. I keep finding the site, and forgetting what the site is called. sweatdrop

I own every Gaunts Ghosts book up to Sabbat Martyr, im waiting for Traitor General and His Last Command to come out in paperback.

*holds up hands* ok, then didnt know i am new to this stuff. Every Guant's Ghosts novel is very good but my favorite is.... First and Only because it has all the orginal Ghosts in it. What book is next after Traitor General?

I read Eisenhorn Xenos and am in the middle of malleus (good books i must say)
I also read a last chancer novel too. I don't remember which one though. neutral

My favorite line of novels is the Soul Drinkers, all the way. It is a must read for any one in to space marines biggrin

GT_Popogeejo Storm of Iron!Read about Iron Warriors kicking a**.It's a damn good read kids. 13th legion is also good. GT_Joe,is this the 1 you read? I love Storm of Iron. I have also read the book after that Dead Sky Black Sun which is pretty good but Storm of Iron is the best book I have read in a long time..

I recomend the Ragnar series if you want to read about space marines.

The best Gaunt's Ghost novel i have read so far is Necropolis. I love reading 40K stories about the Imperial Guard and especially about the culture of Imperial planets in the 40K universe. I've also just recently bought and read Deathwing (always wanted to read the whole novel since reading the snippits included with the 1st edition Space Hulk expansion Deathwing).
