Chay was restacking her books. More specifically, the books on marital law, which took up most of a small bedroom, between martial arts and mammals of the World. There was yet another loud noise from the general direction of the castle, and the neat stack toppled over for the fourth time.
"Oh dear," she said rather vaguely, starting again.

Shenjutsu ran through the huge wooden doors and stopped suddenly at the enormous army bombarding their castle.

"Oh," said Kregg weakly," Would you look at that..."
He dodged as a small missile flew by his ear and discreelty stood behind Shenjutsu.
"Does anyone know why we're being attacked?" he asked, just in case someone felt like answering.
"No..." said a voice from above him.
Antoher vampire with long black hair and a long black shirt, completely black eyes and, well, completely black everything swung down.
"But why complain?" she added happily and flung herself into the mob.
"Typical Ani!" muttered Kregg," Never stops to consider the-"
He looked around.
"-Architecture." he finished.

Shenjutsu shrugged and ran at the enemies with her sword raised above her head "Come on, Kregg!" she yelled back over her shoulder.

"Sure Kregg," said Kregg," Come on Kregg! Race to your death!"
He turned to face the incoming sharp pointed things.
"I don't suppose I could use my words?" He added hopefully. There was an answering thud of a silver arrow.
"Yeek! I mean- I guess not..."
Glumly he slouched in the general direction of the mansion, avoiding spears, swords and occasionly pushing the odd seige weapon out of the way.
"Can anyone even remember why??" he asked the sky.
It rained on him.

Chay was getting rather vexed. For one thing, silver arrows, flaming boulders and other charming instruments of war kept hurtling in through her windows. She opened the main door and tapped the nearest soldier on the elbow.
"Pardon me, but your implements of destruction are having rather a bad effect on my library, would you be so kind as to desist?"
The soldier blinked. She pointed at her mansion, smiling politely.
"VAMPIRE!!" he screamed and fled.

Shenjutsu ran nimbly through the crowd slicing through bodies with her elegantly curved, black steel sword. She held her breath, ignoring the scent of the blood pouring from the disemboweled bodies.

((Eheh... redface I'm back...kind've...sorry 'bout abandoning the thread sweatdrop ))
"Well, I'm completely lost!" said Kregg, feeling wet and very unloved.
"CHARGE!" yelled a group of the other side.
Kregg threw himself to the side and rolled, straightening up he realized something.
He'd forgotten his sword.
And his helmet.
He swore.

Shinjutsu looked around expecting to see Kregg, she saw nobody, "Kregg?" She called, dancing around people trying to slice her to bits. She screamed as she was hit in the back with a sword. She fell to the ground unconscious, she was 'alive' only cause she was immortal.

"Hello! IS ANYONE OUT THERE!?' Kregg yelled at the top of his voice.
The nearest group of sharp pointy things charged at him.
"Any one from my side I mean!" he bellowed, once he'd deposited all of them some distance away.
"DIE VAMPIRE SCUM!" yelled a tall soldier with pretty blue armour and threw a pike at him.
"What'd I ever do to you?" asked Kregg, throwing himself behind a disintergrated catapault.
"You killed my father!" the soldier said, following him," And now all vampires shall pay-"
"Look!" yelled Kregg pointing," A giant, fire-breathing dragon!"
And against all odds, it worked.
"Where, behind the castle?" asked the soldier.
Kregg fled. This strategum worked fine. Vampires can move very fast when they want to. It worked brilliant- right until the point where he tripped over Shinjutsu.

"Erk!" Kregg managed.
Pulling himself up into something near standing up, he scraped his fringe out of his eyes.
"That's not good." he said.
A large tank like machine was gradually wading its way through the mess.
It looked dangerous.
"Um...Maybe we should've stayed in the castle..." he muttered.

As the large machine grew nearer everyone began running away, clearing a path for it's approach of the castle
