Definatly would have to be a Tippmann 98, Durable senario gun thats upgradeable, and you don't even have to change your Rifle over time.

I love my tippmann, very durable and not on the big speding side, even though I never use mine anymore ( ihave a Dangerous Power fusion, an ion, and a CCM s6 now.)The only problems I have with SOME spyders are that they are blowback, and from what I've seen my local techs tell every player "it has to have something in the breach to stop the leak", which means is that if you dry fire it (depending on the spyder you get) it will leak because there is nothing to "blowback" the bolt since nothing is in the breech of the marker, hence the term "blowback." I'm not bashing spyders, its just that i dont like the way there made, and there CS is horrable. (they made my store buy an entire parts kit just for one simple o-ring that can only be found in the parts kit.) So yeah, I'd go with the 98c, simple, durable, it will maybe even outlast you<- still yet to be proven mrgreen )

Had tippman for ever dude. I loved it and then upgraded to a less reliable but more useful high end.

sgt.bradley is tht decent ViewLoader Charger Multi-Mode Marker tht is what im looking at right now that's what I was thinking of buying, but it's like, $100 you can buy a TRITON-2 for $30 it's the same thing, but no electronic trigger(still double) and as far as I've had mine, it's never jammed, or had any other problems, exept that you only shoot 10BPS but, there's a good side to that, I used an electronic trigger about 1 week into paintball and could shoot close to 20 BPS with no assist. in other words, it really strengthens your trigger fingers.^^ $60 at wal-mart with a pro mask, 9oz tank, cleaner, mineral oil, barrel plug and a hopper.

Pirahna's are good, i still play with mine after 7 years (can't afford a better gun)
but a good starter gun would be a tipman 98. They're like the ak-47's of paintball. Very durable.

Seferz For speed, id say some sort of Spyder, they range form 100's to thousands though and for woods a tippman probally or a Stingray n't know what youre looking at, the most expensive spyder is the mr3 that is around $200 for just the gun. the only gun I've seen over 1k is the '08 ego. and the dm7 by dye if you added a hopper and a tank..

Wrong. The MR3 is now outranked by the VS2 and VS3... they run somewhere around 250-300... too lazy to check.

Loved the 98. It was my first marker and it is incredibly durable. Slingin' a dope A5 with so many milsim parts that it is just rediculous. Recently considered an SP8 but figured I already have a big gun so it was time to go small. Smart Parts opened the line of small and affordable electro pnuematics with the Vibe and SP1. I love my SP1 to no end. They run on Co2 and HPA, lightweight, and affordable. They range in the 150 area and have upgrades surfacing regularly. Soon you can get them off the shelf with eyes and a board with three fire modes. Sure my A5's APE is much better, but small SP guns perform so incredibly well for the price.
