People on my school went on myspace thru these things and the school caught some girls redhanded. They were in serious business and others who weren't caught red handed had to own up since if they didn't the school's going to find out anyways. Now, if someone in my school goes on myspace ect. websites they will be expelled I think.

Yeah, Gaia isn't blocked at my schol, my stuff my Hotmail, and any other kind of mail, is blocked. gonk It's difficult, because the stupid school email is faulty. Doesn't allow you to send and receive mail from Hotmail sites, which I tend to need to do for homework. scream But I wouldn't be bothered to use those things at school. I don't spend much time (there isn't much time, lol) on computers, so... I'll survive. 3nodding
@Sapp: I didn't pick ICT as one of my GCSE options - it was compulsory. We only did the short course, which is, as the name suggests, shorter, and easier, and I managed to get an A* in it ( whee ). 60% coursework, which I got 91% in (god knows how I managed that, the coursework was absolute HELL!), and then the theory exam was pipsqueak! mrgreen And I did the exam a year early too, along with my Chinese GCSE (which I got an A* for too, but that was honestly so easy for a Chinese girl like me... I doubt I'll get such good results in my GCSEs this year... gonk ). But at the end of the day, Sapp, taking the subject didn't provide me with much knowledge about computers. We had four units of coursework, one using Publisher, one using something else, etc, and we were in such a rush to finish the coursework, we did it like everyone else and forgot about it all and moved on. It's all about the results isn't it? *sigh* So yeah, didn't learn much. Most of it was writing up what we did anyway. sweatdrop Just cause I got an A* in my ICT GCSE, doesn't mean I'm a genius at computers. I'm naturally okay with them though, and surfing the Internet helps me most. xd

.: I'm a chicken and don't want to use any proxies at school, but I use it at home since the school provides laptop for us to use at school/home.

Same here...you can't do anything on the school computers... xp I don't use proxies much...but other people at my school do to get into myspace and stuff mm i'm to scared to do it. Our head computer person is strangely REALLY skilled in finding this stuff out. no joke eek Gaia isnt blocked for me just the forums are which is mostly what gaia is about. >.<
