Eiaera munched on the sandwich a bit, then looked up in surprise as the other Pae showed up.
"Oh! hi!"
She blinked,
"Er. But you haven't seen me before!" she said, assuming she was being addressed.

Polgara laughed. "Not you dear one, though I would very much like to meet you later... I was talking about Syannia here, she's my daughter..." She smiled and moved over to Syannia placing her hand on Syannia's shoulder.
Syannia looked up at her mother and then looked down at her feet. "I... I..." She didn't know what to say, she was uprepaired for this.

Eiaera blinked. She wasn't sure what that meant, but Syannia didn't seem very happy to her. Still, there wasn't anything she could say about it. She took another bite from her sandwich and looked up at the woman,
"Oh. Okay."

Polgara smiled and moved over to Syannia, placing a hand on her shoulder. "When you are ready to talk, come find me, I'll be here," Then she turned and left the room, but not before ruffling Eiaera's hair on her way out.
Syannia let out a long and low sigh or relief. She was glad that her mother had given her space, now she wasn't going to freak out near as bad as she would have.

"Well, that lady seemed nice," Eiaera looked up at the other, finishing off her sandwich,
"but weird."
She looked about the room now, wondering what they were going to do next here.

Syannia couldn't hold back the chuckle that escaped her throat. "She has her moments, but then, most older people do..." She smiled and walked over to the child, ruffling her hair much like her mother had.
"WEll then, shall we play a game?"
