He gave an appreciative nod as Fute visibly calmed himself and made an effort to talk more slowely and quietly. As the pup spoke, Rochir couldn't help but think for a split second that this "Reicher" fellow could be the same wolf he had become so enthralled with back where they had all first met. Thought quickly forgotten, Rochir settled down to think on Fute's last question.
"I'm not sure.. it's perfect here, really. I hope it stays that way." he gave a nod and stood, shaking his fur out and fluffing up a bit. He could nap some other time.

"Let's hope so." came a gentle and serious toned voice in response to Rochir's answer. Fute quietly got down from off the rock and padded back over towards the forest edge, nosing around for a scent of something, anything to snack on. "Wanna snack?" He asked quietly. He knew that the sleepy pup would probably not be interested, what with his still droggy state and all, but he wished not to be rude by any means, and thusly asked without hesitation, thereafter continuing to sniff at the ground.
A few minutes later he came upon a rabbit den. Hmm... this right here could be my first big hunt. I couldn't catch em' alone though, and Rochir couldn't help. Besides, we're both just pups. I'll just keep searching. His ears perked up ever so slightly as a few branches crackled along the ground as something or someone passed by. "What teh howling fur was that monstrosity." His curiousness could be held in for only so long before he'd dash out towards it and, not wanting to run off so soon, he quickly took heed to ignore what he thought he'd seen. Perhaps he'd seen nothing at all. Yes, that was it. It was a figment of his vivid imagination.
He shrugged best he could, in his own little manner, as he pranced back over to Rochir, giving a heavy sigh. "No snacks for us. ._. Wish there was a watering hole around here somewhere though....." he paused for a moment. "Is there?" Again he paused, then realized that perhaps he shouldn't be focusing on such things until his friend was 100% awake and upbeat.
((I think this shall be last post for right now. Go ahead and post if you can and are still around, but I've gotta get some sleep. I'll reply later today, as soon as I see it. XD G'night. <3))

Rochir nodded to wanting a snack and took the few minutes that Fute was out searching the area to clear his head. If anything good was to come of his night terrors it would be that he wasn't afraid of anything! He sat again and sniffed the air. Water was on his mind and he lapped subconciously at the air, sniffing harder for any scent of something to drink. He frowned a bit when Fute came back to announce that there was no snack, but smiled a bit at the mention of water.
"I think there's water back that way" he spoke semi-confidently. "At least it smells wet" he smiled.

Ieshia's ears swivled around as the caught the sound of someone coming. Turning her head, her tail flicked to the side. Who could that be...? Perhaps it was this Kouji Whisper had been talking of. As the wolf came over and seemed to give Whisper a familiar look Ieshia came to the conclusion that he was at least one of her friends, but perhaps her mate as well.

Whisper had been thanking her friend Ieshia for her opinion on the whole subject of love when she scented Kouji in the area. Had he overheard their conversation about her loving the azure male? If he had, he was showing no sign of it. When he had entered the scene, he gave a questioning look to his mate, but to Whisp, it was one of 'Who is this?' rather than 'What were you talking about?' sort of thing. Relieved, the green wolf made her way over to her mate to give him an affectionate lick across the muzzle.
"Ieshia," she began, turning her attention back to the red and black female whlie standing side by side with Kouji, "this is Kouji.. he's the one I told you about." Her tail gave a delighted wag as she glanced in the male's direction.

~So she is a friend of Whisp's after all.~
At his mate's greeting Kouji rumbled appreciatively in reply and took a n** or two at her ear, nuzzling her briefly with his nose after. The golden-eyed wolf then turned his head towards Ieshia and nodded in a brief greeting. He wasn't at all a very extroverted wolf, and mostly spoke in a laid back voice and usually with an underlying tone when he joked, suggesting amusement from time to time. Right now though, he sounded scincere.
"Hello,"
He hadn't overheard the conversation, but if he had they wouldn't be able to tell. When he told Whisper how he felt, he'd said so by explaining that he cared about her, maybe more than he understood at that time. The truth was he said it that way so as not to frighten her off by coming on too strongly, but the fact of the matter is that he did love her. Whisper was always his choice, and Talia's leaving only gave him the final push towards abandoning his father's ways. It was following Talia that brought him here also, that was true, but had he seen to it that she found a good home first he would have continued his search for Whisper after, and go from there. It was mostly good fortune that Talia and Whisper were actually good friends, which is how they ended up here were they were now.

"It's very nice to meet you," Ieshia told him with a smile, her tail giving a slight swish. Her tone never changed, for she had no reason to be guarded or shy around him...not that she was ever shy, mind you. Whisper trusted and adored him, so it was only natural she'd trust him as well, "Whisper's said wonderful things about you."

Whisper was so delighted to have one of her good friends meet her mate. She was also delighted that Ieshia and Koiji were doing well. The male was acting just as he always did around other wolves and so she took it as a good sign. Snuggling her face into his neck fur, Whisp gave a 'mrr' of contentment, showing how happy she was that he was there with her. Then she pulled away to look at her friend. Surely the green wolf was acting rude, ignoring Ieshia for a moment while she snuggled Kouji.
Blushing under her fur, she gave a sheepish smile to the red and black female. "Yeah.." Then she looked towards her mate. "You happened to come up in our conversation."

"Good idea" he nodded, smiling. He was thirsty and hot and there was only one thing he could think of to sooth both of those - water! He turned and set out walking, taking time to glance behind himself to make sure Fute was following. His tail swayed comfortably back and forth with his gait and a smile played across his dark muzzle. He felt good today, like soon something very interesting would happen to him, he just hoped it wouldn't take him away from his new friends for very long.

It didn't take a second glance for Fute to be up on his paws and padding forward. He eagerly followed his friend out and about, licking his chops all the while at the thought of what a wonderful sensation would take over his mouth from the water. He may not have been able to find a good snack, but the water would definately do the filling trick.
As they both walked however, Fute noticed an aura about Rochir that he hadn't quite before, almost like he could sense that his friend was in a much more chipper than usual mood today. He watched Rochir's tail as they both padded along. It reminded him of Whisper's tail, which reminded him of each other, and their first encounter. The spotted pup couldn't help but smile. They'd come a long way with each other, and to Fute's beliefs, with themselves as well. A dazed look remained as he almost daydreamingly pranced forward, his state of mind only focused on his thoughts. Perhaps it was the sunlight exposure that was causing him to act this way, but a few minutes later it was before he actually 'awoken', if you could call it that. Fute shook his head slightly and tried to veer his mind from off its current course, as happy and merry as his thoughts had been. They'd be at water soon, or at least, hopefully they would be, and this wasn't a time to be daydreaming. No, he was with Rochir now, and things were still good now; that's all that mattered.

Upon seeing that Fute was following, Rochir broke into a joyous trot, the smell of water growing heavier in his snout. Rochir noted the changes as the slightly dry forest slowely changed to a more lush green appearance. Yup, they were near water already, and if they were lucky it would be an oasis! Those were really beautiful and fun to explore, he had learned this in his travel to these lands and would never forget the experience.
A thought suddenly came to him. "Hey.. where's Whisper? And wasn't there talk of a pack forming?" he asked as they walked.

Fute suddenly looked up whenever Rochir began speaking. "I'm not really too sure." He paused for a moment, taking time to glance around. The scenery was astonishing. He'd never seen the forests look like this before. "I was actually just thinking about her myself. I wonder where she is." His tail began to wag in high hopes, realizing they were near water for sure whenever the rushing scent crept through his nose at that second. "And yes, about the pack, I haven't really had the opportunity to see about what's up with it lately. I surely hope we can both do so soon though. Yeah, both of us." The last words came chipperly as the pup wished hard within himself that perhaps they'd run into some of the others sometime soon.

The pup came to a stop, his paws sinking slightly into the spongey moss covering the forest floor. He loved the feeling of the soft green carpet between his toes and if it wasn't so soggy would have made his bed there many a night. He was jerked out of his thoughts as Fute began to speak, a very slight twinge or sadness or maybe worry in his voice. Rochir missed Whisper too, but had be haughty to her last time they had parted and was afraid she might have reacted badly over it. "Ohwell... We'll find her soon, I'm sure. And I'm sure we'll find some of the others soon, I'm anxious to meet them." He gave a smile to hide his worry. He wasn't really a social creature, being mostly afraid of meeting new wolves but he had changed a bit since he had first come here.
"Water" he stated dumbly and walked to the edge. It was an oasis like he had hoped and all was very beautiful. Lush green moss covered the ground and crept into the large pool in the middle. Bushes and trees stood tall and proud around the edges and the water was cool and inviting. "Care for a swim?" he asked, a toothy grin across his maw.

As the two came upon this magnificent view, Fute's mind struck a thought; he'd heard about places like this before. Unsure of where though, the pup's only recognization of the surroundings told him that this must be an oasis. He grinned as Rochir invited him for a swim. "Are you kidding me?" Without a second to waste he lept right in, splashing Rochir heavily before diving under and coming back up multiple times, then finally calming down and relaxing with the coolness that entered his body.
