Hecate gives him a quick nod. "....I see now..." Looks back and forth between them. "So why do you even bother to follow her around? Is she your master?" Her excitement rises from the fact there may be someone similar to herself.

Cal cocked his head to one side.."Master?"He thought about what she might mean...."Do you mean you think she controls me?" He asked, his eyebrows raising.Well, she didn't....per se. He did listen to her, and stay with her..She had basically saved his life...Cal thought for a moment, taking a few steps closer to this girl...Wait, what was her name....Whatever."I trust her.....I'll say that." For a demon to trust another, was a big thing though....A huge thing...

The way he talks brings a smile across her face. Feels as if she understands him. "So...you are in love with her...That is something noble." Hecate thought about it for a long while. It was something she might never be capable of, but still craved it.

Cal was surprised by what she had just said..."In love?..."He said, bewildered..."No, no, no..I'm not in love with her...No, no no.."He said, holding his hands up... "I've never been in lo-" He paused. Wait, why was he talking to this girl about who he loved?...he certainly didn't love Emute.Not in that way. As a close friend, yes.

His actions make her smile even more. Stands up going near him. Feels herself trusting him a little more. "you do love her don't you...You just don't realize it yet." Stares into his eyes as if searching for answers. "You should really hold onto things like that. They are difficult to replace."

Her standing made his heart beat faster..he hadn't interacted with anyone but Emute at all in....A loong time...What was this girl thinking? No, he didn't love Emute. She barely even talked, and when she did it didn't make sense. If he did love any bit of her, it was because she had never done anything bad to him..he didn't loveher though....Not love...He could feel himself shaking his head, feeling his eyes meet hers..."No, I don't."He said, his voice calm, truthful...

Can sense his sincerity. "I'm sorry for mistaking your feelings. I was just curious. You seemed like you did have an infatuation of some sorts." Studies him closely. She can really get a clear look at him from this distance. Feels herself staring at his neck and tries to advert her eyes. Starts to smell his scent and her urge rises. gets ahold of herself after a few moments.

Cal watched her closely too, feeling himself let his guard down as she appologized...He could sense her though...He could tell she was thirsty...He could feel himself backing up. She had been so close to him...only about a foot....He was shaking slightly, but was regaining his composure..Great, a thirsty vampire..But, she was different..And she seemed to...control herself like he tried...He reached to his neck, pulling up his collar so his neck was less exposed..Less tempting..Not like she would get that far..He doubted that she would.

Her attention is brought back to him but she still has the same expression. Her breathing deepens a bit. "Don't worry I won't bite anyone without permission. I'd rather not be a danger to people." Stares into his eyes again. "plus it's not just your blood I desire..."

Cal wasn't sure how to react to that, not really wanting to put a finger on what she really meant...He didn't break her gaze though..."You wouldn't get to my blood if you tried.."He said sharply through his teeth. Cal wasn't sure if he was trying to drive her away, or just get her to back off...Neither was going to happen, he knew..,

Taken back a bit by his comment but tries not to let it show. Breaks her gaze from him and stares down at the ground in shame. "Forgive me.... I do not choose to feel like this... This is what I was made for." Her guilt and lonliness rises as she is brought back to reality.

Cal felt a pang of confusion and...sympathy go through him.Sympathy.He hadn't felt that emotion in a long time...He eyed her, not bothering to make it secretive."Made?" He asked, wondering what exactly she meant....

Cal walked over to were she was sitting, standing close to were she was..."That's...Im sorry.."He said. He hated to say it, but that was something a demon would do...They, well, we had no feelings, Cal thought..Or we weren't supposed to. Our only instincts and feelings are strong ones we remember from their human years...Cal's weren't long...Then something occured to him.."What's your name?" He asked, looking downward at her.
