Ligeia looked over at the newt boy and seemed to be thoughtful for a moment, "I... think that its going better. I mean he defended me in that fight, he went out with me get this." He lifted a hand to tap it against his nose piercing, "And well... Hes hanging out with me at least so thats something." Maybe it was to get him to tuffen up at least he wasn't being ignored or shunned or anything currently.

He walked over to sit down on the blanket and dug around in the cooler, "There is a lot of different things in here if you want to take a look." He told Chath, dragging out the juice so that he could get himself some, "Want some?"

Vorel looked over at Keir, eyes widening a bit. It would seem the black was more adept in the hunting stuff. He looked to where the ducks were then nodded, ducked down some, and started to creep around the edge of the pond.

"I do hope so." Ligeia said, giving a hopeful sigh before looking over at Chath curiously, "Freezes?" He asked, unsure what those were and if he wanted one. He held out the plastic cup containing Chath's juice to him seemingly glad when the boy sat down next to him. This was nice, this was kinda how they were before when they were at Chath's house without all the fainting.

He flapped his wings before closing them more to his back so that they wouldn't get into Chath's way, he knew how they seemed at times to have a mind of their own.

Vorel crouched down in the tall reeds that surrounded the pond and went still, he knew that he was brightly colored by he could hope that the ducks were more worried about the black thing that was swimming with them then the blue one that was sitting still on the bank of the pond. It took everything he had to keep his tail from swishing, no... he couldn't let it he had to stay still, had to be ready to grab a duck! He couldn't look foolish in front of Keir.

He had to look cool he was older!

Ligeia set his cup down and closed his foot around it so that he could then take the sour watermelon treat from Chath, "Oooo. One of these. Vorel makes these sorts of things with me from time to time." He said, opening the tube up so that he could take a bite of it. It was good both the flavor and the color, "Thank you."

He looked over to Chath, "Do we want to have lunch now or maybe save that for later?" He asked, leaning back on his elbows. The sun felt nice so long as it was in small degrees, every now and again though he had to flap his wings to keep himself cool. The icy treat helped a lot though.

Vorel watched the ducks as they moved closer and closer to him, herded towards him just as Keir had said they would be. They weren't the smartest of creatures now were they? Not that he minded, easier to hunt dumb prey it would seem. His blue eyes narrowed as they came closer and closer, muscles bunching and shifting as he readied for them to come within chomping range. Just imagine how proud of him Ligeia would be if he caught one!

Ligeia opened his eyes and looked over at Chath, "Keir went with Vorel, they are going to catch ducks." He said, "Probably off splashing around the pond."

There were times he forgot that not everyone could understand what dragons were saying, he'd thrown himself learning Draconic since Mr. Coleman had hinted at Vorel not being among the smartest of the dragons and maybe unable to learn English.

He didn't seem worried about the pair and their hunting. Mostly it was because he didn't think that they were going to be able to catch their intended prey since Vorel had yet too. He had enough of a time with the fish and frogs since he was still rather young and inexperianced in the ways of hunting.

He pushed up so that he was sitting up again, "If your worried we can check on them." He said, looking towards where the pond was.

Vorel was a bit surprised when suddenly the black dragon errupted from the water attempting to snap at some ducks. He didn't think that this was a part of the plan, maybe Keir had gotten to eager? Vorel couldn't say that he didn't feel the way way... so he took a deep breath and then exhaled some frost at the flock of ducks hoping to freeze them enough that they feel back into the water, back into Keir's grasp.

He could only hope some got caught in the icy blast!

Ligeia nodded, "I am sure that the two of them will be fine." He said, surely they would just chase around the ducks, get bored, then head back this way to get their lunch when they were hungry? He turned towards the pond hearing the same sound that Chath had, then gave a little wiggle of his eartufts.

"Hrm?" He wondered what they were up to, the ducks were being louder then normal when Vorel chased them. Then it was rather quiet so maybe that meant that the ducks had gotten away from them again?

Vorel stopped the icy attack and watched as the ducks fell into the water then floated back up to the surface. He blinked a couple times then started to jump up and down excitedly on all four feet as he saw the icy ducks that were floating there in front of him. He'd hit some! He hit some of the ducks! Excited now the excited Frost dragon dove into the water with a big SPLASH and swam over to get one of the ducks.

"Yeah, I get to help out a lot with the younger kids in my Dad's class, it makes me really want to do something similar to that when I am old enough. Its such a great job to get to help people to learn." He said, then tilted his head, "I've gotten bitten, kicked but the bad comes with the good my father tells me. Thats why I help after all, to many bad flying classes so now he has someone with wings there."

He looked over to Chath and gave him a smile, "I can only hope I am lucky enough to get such a job here when I am older. If not I always have my babysitting. You should come with me someday when I babysit, its quite fun." Chath could test his heroic skills against a group of little kids.

Vorel grabbed his duck and made his way up and out of the water, shaking off before sitting back on his flanks. He transferred the duck from his mouth to his front feet to looked it over, this was great, "Ligeia will impressed!" He said, happily. He was completely sure that his partner would be proud of the fact that he finally got a duck!

"It is tough at times, I had one kid who got scared of Vorel cause he thought he was mean when Vorel was smiling at him. So we I had to talk to him to get him to be unscared then brought him back to remeet Vorel to see he wasn't scary." He blushed some, "Not a pro but working at learning, makes me wonder what it would be like to have kids someday."

"Hmmm. Music wise I mostly like the stuff that is all instrumental, its so pretty and soothing. Helps me to study." He said, "I am not a big fan of them but I seemed to have seen... a LOT of action movies, Ter loves them so they are often on the tv."

Vorel looked at the other ducks then nodded, "Bring them too." He said as he walked over to fish another one out with his tail, "Can give to Ligeia and Chath?" He suggested. They would LOVE them!
