KittenFreak1986 I'm wondering why Snape DIDN'T take that old potions book with him when he cleaned out his room? And I was shocked to learn that Snape was the Half-Blood Prince. I always thought he was a pureblood? I did too! But...I had to laugh when I found out he was the Half-Blood Prince. Real kick in the pants for Harry, seeing the person he hates the most was the one who helped him best. xd But I'm mad that he killed Dumbledore. How could he do that?! evil

i dunno... i have a feeling there's more to it that we'll find out in book 7... i still want to know what happened to dumbledore's arm and why he did trust snape so much... i think i still have a little hope for snape... i wouldn't be suprised if he was evil all the way now, but i'd like it better if he still had some kinda good in him... i have a tiny bit of hope for snape... and if by some miracle sirius comes back (highly doubt it but you never know), rowling will have to give an uber beasty explination, 'cause kreacher wouldn't have gone to harry and been forced to obey him if sirius had been alive...

AmmonSuperCombo i should have thought of snape when the book first came into the story because they alway talked about how great he was at potions and how he spent time by himself making new hexes and jinxes (in the memory of james and lily from snape). also, i bet dumbledore explicitly told snape to do everything to protect harry, even killing him. think about it. malfoy is saved from becoming a killer, harry had someone else (his mom) die for him so what could give him more protection than dumbledore himself dying to save harry now that his mom's protection had been overcome, and i bet that in the final showdown with big v harry will have to trust malfoy and snape and they will either stay out of the fight and let harry kill voldermort or they will help harry do it. harry will use dumbledores love to turn them. i also think that when dumbledore was killed and he said please to severus, he wasnt saying let me live, he was saying keep malfoy and harry safe. Put in that perspective, you have a very vivid point. Over the past few days, I was able to cool off about The Half-Blood Prince (I was mad about so much, such as Snape turning traitor, Dumbledore's death, and various other plot twists), and now, as others have probably pointed out, I have a feeling there is more to what was going on than J.K. Rowling let on. Right now, I am of the belief that Snape might not have killed Dumbledore if it were not for the Unbreakable Vow. I also put his position ito his perspective: a room full of Death Eaters, Dumbledore vulnerable, Draco unable to kill him, his promise to Narcissa. If he helps Dumbledore, he will be killed, be it by the Death Eaters or the Vow, as he promised Narcissa he would keep Draco safe, and finish the task if Draco were unable. If he were to encourage Draco to kill it, he would still be seen as a traitor, and, as in the book, if he killed Dumbeldore, he would be seen as a traitor. No matter what he did, all paths lead to the same consequence: he is a traitor and/or a murderer.

About the whole R.A.B. thing, i had a stroke of brillance that doesn't come very often blaugh I don't remember who said it, but i think it was Sirius's younger bro, Regulas or something like that. Anyway, he took the locket and destroyed it. i know what u all r thinking, but he was killed. Well, what if that was the reason that he was killed; because he destroyed it!!! Thats what i think anyway.

views about HBP: why did Dumbledore die!!! and why did the Goodshippers have to win!! *grumble grumble* Pumkin Pie!!! Oh well, it was kinda sweet, and the Bill Fleur thing was better than expected. I totally loved the Tonks/Lupin thing, and I am still in very much support of S.S. Government stole my toad...yeah

Not sure this has been said or not...
But, rememv=ber the locket that they found at Number 12 Grimmauld place that they could not open, and the R.A.B? Maybe indeed that was the Horcrux and Remulus DID take it!
