Deathly Hallows = love.
I'm reading The Twelve Caesars by Michael Grant for school right now. It's supposedly a biography for each of the Roman Caesars but it's more a general personality analysis. It's somewhat compelling as it shows how different people react to different political situations and are affected by power.

lol @ children's books.
I'm currently reading a book called Peter Pan In Scarlet. It's about the Lost Boys when they've grown up, and things begin to leak through Neverland in the form of dreams. So, Wendy takes them back to Neverland and it's autumn there. Now, as we all know, it's always summer there, so something has gone terribly wrong. There's this circus master named Ravello who always wears a cloak that covers up his hands, so I think he's Captain Hook.
& I'm reading a book called The Eyre Affair, which is about people who go in and out of books. With this ability, someone has stolen the main character from the book Jane Eyre, and a detective has to go in this book and others to rescue her and arrest the kidnapper.

I just finished Life Of Pi. I'll have to go fish my book out of the shelves, and find out the author, but It's for my book club, and it was really good.

To the OP. You should read Adele Geras (think I spelled that right) version of Troy. I'm currently reading Mother Tongue : English and How it got that way by Bill bryson. It's a pretty interesting perspective on the english lang. I haven't finished the whole thing...but it's turning out to be an enlightening read.

Narcissistic Literature Sangaroo I just finished reading "Anansi Boys" written by Neil Gaiman, and I loved it, it's a great book. Funny, and has that thing that only Gaiman can do, I love everything he writes. And now I'm gonna read "Die Unendliche Geschichte" written by Michinael Ende. The English title I think is "The Endless Story", i'm just translating it from the title I have in Portuguese ... well it's the book that inspired that movie from the 80's anyway u.u She lay down on the grass, Looking up at the sky, thinking, it’s all she can do. If she disappeared she would not be missed. She will be gone just like everyone else.
Getting up from the grass, she walks on the sand, looking outward towards the sea. She walks into the water high up above her knees.

The Neverending story. I've been wanting to read that. Especially since I saw the film when I was younger and I loved it. I bet the book is 100 times better.
It's odd.. I love reading, but I have not read all year... Last school year I read all of the Harry Potter books in three, or less months I believe. I wanted to get to the fourth book by the time the fourth movie came out, and I finished it two days before the movie. Yes last year was the first year I read the Harry Potter books.... I've never had a liking for it before. I started reading the first book when it came out. It bored me to death and I stopped reading it six or seven chapters before the end. When I picked the books up again I fell in love... I used to read all the time, but recently, I've been too hooked on gaia, that reading books has flew my mind.... I should really take a break from Gaia....
~~~♥~~~♥ Narc Lit ♥~~~♥~~~ The waves softly hit her legs. She looks at the sunset and its yellow-red hues she walks into the sea, farther and farther, opening her arms towards the wave. The water is high up to her hips. The wave comes towards her. She looks at the wave with her arms stretched out; the water starts to rage, the wave hits her body hard. Then the water calms down. The water recedes, then darkness falls, and all goes dark. The sun goes down and the day is done.
The book IS 100x better. It is at least 1 million times better. AS a child growing up it was my absolute favorite book..and I STILL read it. It is just.. soo bloody flippin fantastic.
The Lightning Thief. It's REALLY good, but I feel sad for poor Percy most of the time. I also got stuck with a reading list for the summer, but they're ALL HORRIBLE. gonk I don't wanna read 'em, much less do stupid paperwork questions on them...And then I'm gonna have to talk about 'em in class for 10% of my grade.
