Foetus In Fetu I don't know. I made the mistake of hoping the Clana cycle would be over last year. gonk But last year, Lana didn't know Clark's secret, including the other 4 seasons. I can't come up with anyway that they can drag on the Clana cycle. Either, Clana will reunited and then later find out it's not working out. Then they get over each other and go on with life...OR they remain together until Lana dies. Can you come up with a way they would drag the Clana cycle around again?

I'd rather not think about it, to be honest. By that logic it should only have gone around twice -- once before Lana knew he was an alien and once after.

I'm saying that it will only go around once more know that she knows what he is. There are no more big lies to tell like all the other times.

I am just glad they are making another season of Smallville, but why is everyone saying that this season was bad? I really enjoyed it. But hey, that is just my opinion. Another year with Tom Welling! WOOOOO! heart

It was not a bad season, but in comparison to other seasons... it was not at good. Personally I say season 5 is best to date and season 6 just didn't top it.

With no respect for the show I'd like to see... 1) Lex in the green suit armor 2) Gold k (Clark given the choice by Jor-El to be normal the rest of his life, with no going back giving him an opportunity to embrace his abilities and maybe lead into him becoming superman) 3) *mumbles* Clark fly stare 4) Another JL episode without the Martian Man Hunter.

Lexana comeback? Haha, that's a longshot because it simply isn't Clana. stare
If Lana is alive, I would like to see how Lex is going to take it. 1) That she faked her death to get away from him. 2) That he was blamed for her murder.

clueless-in-the-forest muhaha twisted clana is an immortal being heart
sorry lana sweatdrop and just so y'all know, a lot of fans do ship for clana... Oh I know that. Who doesn't know that Clana makes up the majority of Smallville fans? It is because of that that the EPs mercilessly sacrificed Lexana in order to let Clana fans have their way. Lexana was simply a plot device used to get Clana fans riled up and keep watching to see their couple come back. There are a lot of Lexana fans out there but that simply doesn't matter in a world of Clana-infected smallville fans. Does no one see that by doing this that you strip away every ounce of dignity that Clark, Lex and Lana have?

SaberFireTiger Does no one see that by doing this that you strip away every ounce of dignity that Clark, Lex and Lana have? Well, exactly. I don't think Clana shippers are the majority of all fans, though. I think all other ships put together plus people who don't ship at all probably outnumber them. Which makes the Clana-centrism even more mental - the ratings are in the gutter for a reason.

This the why I'm not paticularly optimistic about season 7. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking forward to anymore. neutral

Tom Welling is signed on until season 8, so there will be at least 8 seasons. smile

I think Pete is going to come back because in the comics Lana marries Pete, leaving Clark to Lois.

Even if they have him for 8 seasons they are going to need to take into account if they loss other key cast members, would it be worth making an 8th season. Would they still get the same ratings if they lost Lex or Lana or Chloe or ANYONE for that matter. It all depends on the first half of season 7
