Continuation of Yasha's Past (Part Five)

In her travels, Yasha learned of Team Rocket. Of the humans in general, and their Pokemon. While some angered her to her very core, others were easily tolerated. Some even fed her, trying to coax her into being more accepting of their kind. Some gestures of kindness would be taken advantage of, if there was a need to be satisfied.

Though, she was still cold towards most, especially upon first meeting. One was lucky to be able to remember meeting with her, and not have any scars to show for it. She would not trust them, as soon as she'd let her guard down she'd regret it. There was no doubt of this in her mind, and she wasn't about to risk it.

Remarkably, despite all of her cold actions and suspicious nature, two humans did finally manage to gain her trust. Both were Gym Leaders on a set of remote islands, the Whirl Islands. One was Robin, a fun-loving young woman, who seemed to never be caught in a negative mood. Perhaps her cheerful manner was welcomed, Yasha herself may never fully figure it out. Though, she liked her, and was likely to even make it known.

Second, there was Brian. Ironic that Yasha could ever bring herself to trust a man, but this one she became the closest to. He specialized in Dark Pokemon, both in nature and type. His Gym had been built underground, surrounded by a maze of caverns and long tunnels. Brian was Yasha's first trainer, by the agreement of both. Their dark intentions seemed to mix well, and she joined up with his group of menacing Pokemon.

Over a year passed, and Yasha was pleased. Able to come and go as she desired, she was not held captive as most trained Pokemon. Brian had also changed, being exposed only to her and the other Pokemon in his company. He'd become no less evil that his team, completely heartless in the eyes of most, and many feared them. They were referred to as The Dark Legion, or The Dark Wrath respectively. Leaving in their wake only death and destruction, for those who made the mistake of crossing their master.

Brian held a hate for humans that nearly surpassed Yasha's, and being an ex-member of Team Rocket helped Yasha to understand their actions, and the both of them plotted their own revenge. However, this became the only unused plot in the end. Brian, with no provocation to Yasha's knowledge, released her and the rest of his companions. Leaving her to go on her own way once more, wiser and stronger.

Yasha never truly understood why he'd done it, though somehow she wasn't angered by it. The Umbreon felt as though it was only a matter of time, before she and Brian would meet again. Perhaps not as Pokemon and master, but friends, as dark as they may be.

Conclusion of Yasha's Past (Part Six)

Alone again, Yasha continued her search. For Team Rocket, and any sign that she could find of her brother. He was still alive, she was convinced of that. She could feel it, somehow. She was determined to find him, one way or another. He was all that she had left, and she had to rescue him from the humans.

To her frustration, all that turned up for her were dead ends. As soon as she thought she'd discovered where the Rockets were hiding, they'd seemingly vanish into thin air. Yasha found this extremely irritating, and began to wonder just how long she would be left to trail them.

Recently, she found herself in a completely new region. Tentou. Rumors were whispered of mysterious humans appearing in the area, stealing and abusing Pokemon. This information was all that Yasha needed, and set into finding a more permanent residence. She'd get them this time, she was certain of it.

Only a week or so later, she'd settled in nicely to a mysterious forest. Large, and uninhabited by any larger Pokemon. She claimed it as her own, even if it was a rather large territory for a single Umbreon to patrol. She was pleased by the darkness that the forest provided, and seemed to think nothing of the absence of sunlight.

Not too far into the winter season, she stumbled upon quite the unwelcome surprise. While patrolling the borders of her territory, she discovered humans and several Pokemon. Making themselves at home, from the looks of it. Angrily, she confronted them. Demanding that they leave her home, she knew nothing of their harmless intentions. That is, until a darker man appeared in the forest.

It was after a rather violent encounter with WizzRobe that Yasha took on her second trainer, Hitsuzen. The young woman had saved her, after all. That, and she had defended the forest, with the help of the other humans. Perhaps this region was better than those she'd journeyed in the past, the majority of the humans not as threatening. She'd surely find out, in time.

There you have it, point of her birth until now. Perhaps I can assist her in defeating those of Team Rocket, use my abilities to her advantage. It's the least I can do, I've put myself in this situation. Yasha is more important to me, and she deserves this. I will help her in finding her brother in any way that I can, I hope I don't let her down.

I had previously neglected to write down that I had entered Yasha into a competition. Apparently there is a 'Cool Contest' going on within the next few days. It sounded like something I believe Yasha will do well in, and I'm left to hope that she doesn't grumble quite so much about it when the time comes to show off her stuff.

I'm actually looking foreword to my battle with Wizz, I've finally found his Gym. It's unique, to say the least. I'm convinced that things will go well, and hopefully I will manage to get a Badge from him. Not to mention a TM that I have already heard of. Even if Yasha already knows the technique that it holds, I can use it on one of my other Pokemon. Makura, perhaps.

I have received my 'pet' from Chinatown, and I suppose I could say that I am happy with him. He seems like one that I could easily get along with, even if he has the tendency to get a bit too easily provoked. I do hope that such a thing doesn't cause too many problems. But, at least I know that no harm will come to me while he is at my side. Apparently, that will be constantly.

Honestly, I really must update this more often! I suppose when one gets caught up in traveling, they tend to forget about a little journal. I'm not even sure if I can recall everything that has happened to us since my last update, but I'm going to try my best!

I have acquired three new Pokemon since my last update, each the first of their kind to be found in the region. One is a Light Espeon, Shiran, beautiful to say the least. She's very nervous around others, but hopefully she'll warm up to everyone in the near future. Honestly, Poke and Ran were a big help in her rescue. I have this suspicion that the Vaporeon has a bit of a crush on Shiran, but perhaps it's just the connection of their species. The other two are of the Dark variety; A Mightyena and a Dark Houndoom. Both are rather hostile, hopefully I can keep them under well enough control...

Last time I had mentioned a 'Cool Contest' that was apparently placed on hold, but later canceled. Good news! A competition opened up a few nights ago, and Mienu took fourth place! I'm not too sure if the audience was on our side, apparently they couldn't see a Mightyena's special talents if it came up and bit them. The judges seemed to love her, though. For that I'm thankful. Yasha has been entered into the 'Popularity Contest' that I have high hopes for, she's rather well known. Of course, I'm not too sure how much people actually like her. Considering her attitude, that is. Speaking of Yasha, she's the first Pokemon in the entire region to reach level 100! I'm so proud of her!

Damn, we've had a couple of dangerous adventures in these past few months. All that's really necessary to be said is that both ended in gunshot wounds and a rather high level of bloodshed. Thankfully, we lived through them all, and are on our way to another. I have my fingers crossed that this one won't be nearly as risky as the last few have been, but seeing as it's involving Team Rocket again (or so we believe), nobody can say for sure. Sphinx can't seem to shake his nervous feeling, and many of the Pokemon seem nervous. I hope this isn't some sort of bad omen...

Well, I nearly lost this journal after the latest adventure we had. Yes, it was many months ago, but it took me this long to get all of my things back. I'm not quite sure why all of our things were confiscated, but I'm glad I'd torn a few pages out. A few of my past entries about myself being involved with the Rockets. When I'd learned fully of Yasha's torment, not to mention Shiran's suffering, I threw out anything connecting me to the company. I hadn't helped them in their experiments to begin with, and now I'm happy that I never really got involved. I'll do anything I can to keep the Rockets away from my Pokemon, and this region as a whole.

As usual, I've gained a few new team members and friends since my last writing. I actually rescued them from the Rockets, after a horrible ordeal that I'd rather not go into in a place that was simply called Pokemon Island. When we finally got ourselves away from there, I had four more Pokemon. A Zigzagoon, which Sphinx actually found, named Sadiki. The little thing zigs and zags all over the place, and it seems to enjoy following Sphinx most of all. It's very cute. I found the other three while I was franticly opening cages and they just seemed to trust me and follow. A Pidgey I named Thorn, a beautiful silver Vulpix dubbed Tenka, along with a tiny Meowth that I named Kichinichi... We just call her Ichi for short. I wasn't even sure that the Meowth would pull through with her being so young and wounded on top of that, but she's doing just great at this point!

As though I wasn't ecstatic about having so many new additions, though surprised, one more found it's way to us! Another Eevee, of all things. He's such the curious little tike, he wandered right into the cave! Didn't seem scared of any of us in the least, and he ended up willingly joining my team. I thought it was a bit weird, but I certainly wouldn't turn him down. I think he was already tamed by someone, since he was wearing a bandana when he found us, but he claimed that he had no trainer. I seem to be so close to my goal of being an Eon trainer, I only have a few left to go. I hear rumor that two new evolutions have been discovered in some far off region. I wonder if it's true?

Well, I'm hope I've caught up well enough. I hear someone wandering around out in the forest, and Yasha seems to be on edge. We'll have to go out and investigate. Speaking of Yasha, she's gotten kinda fat as of late, what's up with that? She's always been so thin, I might have to put her on a diet!
