Blair shrugged as they steeped out of the large building into the warm sun of the summer day. "I hope not. Tough, you never know. I mean it is a private school." She said as she closed her eyes and welcomed the sun's warm rays. "All we can do is hope that some of them are nice."

Dawn smiled and pushed some hair from her face as she took in the warm summer sun, her tail flicking about. "Well, we're friends, right?" she asked, suddenly unsure.

"Duh." She said with a laugh as she took her arm off of Dawn's shoulder. "Best friends." She said as she started to run to the coffee shop, her ringed tail following close behind her.

Dawns eyes went wide as she watched Blair run off the coffee shop, a little blush on her face. Best friends? Wow! She smiled happily and ran to the coffee shop to catch up to her.

When they entered the shop, the sweet aroma of ground beans filled the room. Blair stopped and took in a deep breath. She loved the smell, even if she wasn't too crazy about the taste.
She had a cup a few times a week. Mostly when she had a hard time thinking up lyrics for new songs.
She ordered a grande hazelnut coffee and walked over to a group of empty lounge chairs, waiting for Dawn to get her drink.

Dawn went up to the counter and ordered herself an iced chai tea with extra caramel added to it. Once she paid and got her drink, she went over to Blair, sitting down in one of the seats next to her, sipping at it and sighing happily.

"Feels nice to relax huh?" She asked as she took the drink to her lips. "Too bad it's just the calm before the storm." Her mind wandered again to what the other girls would be like.

Dawn nodded as she leaned back into her seat, sipping her drink for a moment, "Yea, I know, but at least we can come here when we don't have too much work or to just study!" she suggested, her tail flicking about.

"If it's not too crowded." She said, bring up her hand and crossing her fingers. "Either that or we can find another coffee shop that's secluded." She took another sip of her coffee. "Shouldn't be that hard."

"Yea, it shouldn't be too hard to find another coffee shop around here, especially with a school full of girls!" she said with a slight giggle, a smile on her face.

"Yeah, all they really like is that fancy Starbucks stuff." She laughed. "Don't know about you, but I'm not about to pay twice as much for something the same size."

She nodded as she sipped at her tea again, "I know, it's crazy how high the prices are!! And people will pay it!" she giggled, crossing one leg over the other.

"It's messed up." Blair shook her head. She stood back up and folded her legs under her, sitting on them. She took a deep breath and yawned. "Mmm...I need this." She said as she brought the hazelnut flavored drink to her lips.

Dawn giggled a bit and sipped her drink, letting out another happy sigh and leaning back into the stuff chair, closing her eyes as she smiled happily. She could definetely get used to this.

A little less than half an hour passed and Blair was finished with her coffee. She went ahead and placed the empty cup on a small side table sitting next to the chair she was in. She looked around the small coffee shop, taking the scenery in for the first time. She had to admit, it was a really nice shop for the small space. She closed her eyes and pictured herself and Dawn in the middle of the semester with their books studying for a huge exam.
